Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

One teeny little pound/ one big poo off 100 pounds lost! I'm ok with the heady days of two pounds loss a week are behind me if this current streak of being back to a pound a week sticks. 7.5mg doesn't feel as comfortable as 5 did - the day I could only eat half a salad felt like a weird low point! - but it does seem to be doing the trick.

Loving all the Rivals love. We haven't actually spoken about my weight loss yet, let alone using WLI, I suspect out of politeness as our shared history with weight includes living with someone with quite severe anorexia at one point. Sometimes the nicest thing you can say about someone's body is literally nothing. But if the opportunity arises I will tell him that my skinny bitch friends in my phone all love his work!
Now, speaking of skinny bitches. Has anyone who's had 'melted candle thighs' noticed that that's lessening now you're in maintenance? Have you done anything that seems to have helped? My wobble isn't too horrific for how much I've lost, but if there is one advantage of you all having had shorter journeys than me, it's getting intel from the finish line.

I think I'm at peace with my melted bits. The only thing that would fix my thighs and saggy belly would be a thigh lift and tummy tuck, which seems a bit extreme for me given i only bare my thighs and belly once a year at most....and I suspect the scarring from surgery would annoy me just as much tbh....I suspect there would always be something else I'd want to improve or erase!

My arms are my biggest bug bear (have been since I was a teen! Hello lypoedaema it appears!). The wings are not great (can’t wholly blame lypoedaema for that, my hugely fluctuating weight has done that), my 4 year old has noticed them and was saying he has them too (he hasn’t). I’d happily have the skin taken off but cannot commit any money (or surgery risk, tbh) as things stand. It would be great to get them gone though. Relying on short sleeved tops and puff sleeves etc 🙂

In nice news received some flashy new animal print trousers today which I love, and I recently wore a Monsoon dress I got on vinted for £10 to the office and to a drinks event after which I loved - pics attached (dress pic taken at the loos at Manchester All Bar One so not too fabulous 😂)

You look really great.

Appreciate those trying out the potions and treatments to test effectiveness!

My thighs are actually looking good, probably because they have always been fairly muscular. My arms on the other hand... I've taken up kickboxing and I can see a lot of wobble whenever I throw a punch, which is annoying but I guess inescapable.

I did go to the class yesterday when it was boiling hot in shorts and basically a crop top (a longline yoga bra over a proper heavy duty sports bra), and I felt good in it, even walking to and from the class around the general public. First time I've exposed that much skin away from a beach in quite some time, but the weather seemed to warrant it.

I was thinking about how at 20 I would have been concerned with how attractive random men found me, and now at 40 I want to look good but that's not a consideration, at all. A win for getting older.

Well HELLO MISSUS, you’re looking great! Can’t say as I notice anything untoward about your arms at all!

From everything I’ve heard, kickboxing will sort your arms out! How are you finding it?

And great to hear you were out & about showing a bit of midriff yesterday. It was certainly a good day for it. 🥵

Your point about the scarring is a really good one. All surgeries can end up with things you don’t quite expect, and you generally just have to lump it because (even if you’re not self-funding) the recovery time and wait to find out what the next set of unexpected results are can be daunting. I’ve a been offered a few procedures to tweak my foobs, and after weighting it all up I’ve ended up sticking with V1.0.

Ah thank you.

This really resonates about the change in caring about whether a random man finds me attractive. It’s really not anything I’m thinking about now as I’m embracing clothes and taking better care of myself. It’s about how I feel in myself and the fashion I enjoy.

I think there are a lot of us - finally finding our groove and not worrying about whether a man likes our outfit or how good we look (I probably have a few male repellent items now which I love haha). Learning to love ourselves, not necessarily what others think.

(I think I care more about what other ladies think of my clothing and appearance than men now! 😅)

Officially I've gained a pound this week but I'm not worrying about it as I've been fluctuating by 3 pounds all week. I've not had anywhere near enough water so I think that is probably the culprit. Getting a glass as soon as I'm at my desk!

Update from my from my big fat Greek holiday..

Weight; no idea. First hotel in eons that doesn’t provide bathroom scales. I don’t think they expect guests here to be using EasyJet so no need to weigh the luggage 😂

Exercise: my trusty Pvolve equipment has made the journey with me. It’s been used every day 💪. I even brought a tripod with me so I can set up the iPad in front of my set up 😂 DH is asking if I’m going to become an influencer on the TikkyToks 😆

Food: I’m eating all the food and all of the wine. Just marvellous.

Fashion; my body shape has changed enormously since even last year, so the useable bikini count from last year is down. Clothes that fitted me at the same lowest weight last year (132lbs) feel very loose. It’s quite a lovely feeling.

Beauty: loving Green People sunscreen. Looks like I’m off to swim the channel after application but great for someone like me who suffers from prickly heat.

Books: I’d recommend’Five’ by Ilona Bannister. Very good read.

Hope everyone has something lovely planned for the weekend!

Today I dipped below 10st for the first time in decades. NSV last week - I fitted in New Look size 10 jeans, in the end I opted for 12s which are roomy on waist but comfier on hips. Still a way to go to get to my goal of 9st 2 but at least 'it's in sight. I am so ready to be done with the jabs. Finally starting to enjoy clothes shopping but using vinted where I can. Here's the graph ?for reference I am 5ft1 and 53).

WOOOO!!!! I've finally done it over and reached goal. November 2024 15 stone, June 2026 9 and a half stone.
I'm 64 and haven't been this weight since I was in my 20's.
Thank you mounjaro and all the support I received on here.
I can't believe it. The last four pounds hung on for three months 😁
I don't have a fat pic, I never let anyone take one of me.

Woohoooo great stuff @BananaChickenWingsand @Gettingbysomehow what brilliant achievements.

jay55 · 09/06/2026 09:46

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I’ve stayed the same. Annoyed and full of wind, have picked up a new food intolerance I’m certain, just need to work out what it is.

In good news, I’m buying a flat, mortgage offer received, all going swimmingly. Can’t wait to live in a place where I’ve never been fat. Might even buy a mirror.

SerenePeer · 10/06/2026 12:57

Well done! @BananaChickenWings & @Gettingbysomehow! Fabulous news!

Hope you're still enjoying your big fat greek holiday @Mounjaropen - I'm finding the same with my body shape and think I must have dropped more fat recently because my wedding rings and oura ring are now ridiculously loose all of a sudden.

How many bikinis is too many bikinis by the way lovely skinny bitches? I feel like I've gone bikini mad with my holiday prep. Also just spent a fortune on SPF - I hate running out when we're away. Being a very pale freckled type, I'm very loyal to the brands that I love which of course being me, are never the cheapest ones 🙄

RayonSunrise · 10/06/2026 23:33

Ha @SerenePeer, I’ve also an uncanny ability to love the most expensive products and can unerringly pick them out of a line up. Have you ever seen the Eliza Instagram account that compares designer and inexpensive versions of outfits? I can ALWAYS pick the designer version out. It’s a gift/curse. 😂

Good luck with your flat, @jay55! Will cross my fingers for you.

It’s lovely to read more goals being achieved, too. ❤️

RayonSunrise · 10/06/2026 23:37

On a totally different note: can we talk co-ords for a minute? I love the idea, and kind of fancy finding a set but inevitably end up leaning more towards actual trouser suits. Most of the non-suit ones I’ve seen so far have either been a bit too boxy on the top half, or - like the one I saw styled the other day - look suspiciously like pajamas. I know the pajama-as-coord thing has been around for a while, but I am clearly getting old as I’m just not sure I can quite carry it off!
