Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

Thanks @Mounjaropen

We’ve been living under the shadow of it for a few years now but for the most part it’s been well managed. Fingers crossed he improves this week, especially now he’s under the right care / ward.

Another 1.2lbs off overnight! Throw another 1.2 guinea pigs in to my total to be 99.2lbs / guineas (kind of want to hit 100 now 🙃).

On a lighter note - this made me smile:

Checking in. Have had a bit of a stressful time here, DH’s heart failure symptoms are bad at the moment and he is in hospital. We were away at Center Parcs last week and as the week went on he progressively got worse then admitted to hospital Friday night based on guidance from the heart failure nurses. Bit of a bumpy time since, hospital paused some of his medications whilst assessing things which made things even worse! Finally they added the essential one back in (diuretics - he is now on a diuretic IV drip to make up for it!), and today moved to a dedicated cardiac ward. He’s also feeling less bad today. Hoping things improve.

We did however manage to have a nice time whilst away for the most part last week (I did the packing, unpacking, driving, towing a DS about in a trailer behind a bike, swimming and water slides etc!), and had some lovely lunches out. With the chaos I’ve had some ready meals / shite this weekend / week and therefore surprised to therefore find myself hitting 9 stone 7 both yesterday and today, which is a 7 stone loss! (Perhaps nothing like stress to burn the extra calories. Last time DH was in hospital in 2023 I lost 1.5 stone).

So… I think I’ve hit my ultimate weight loss goal. Originally it was 11 stone (which seemed impossible to imagine at the time). I’ve not been 9 stone 7 since I was 12/13 😂.

This is actually 10 stone 7 (probably more) of a loss from my heaviest around 2009. I’m literally more than half the person I was then, and when you think that what I am now includes a whole friggin skeleton, bodily organs etc. it’s rather terrifying. 😬

Now comes the task of maintenance. Planning to bounce about between this and maybe 9 stone 12 or so, potentially up or down a few pounds depending on the time of the month and various indulgences. I’m worried about piling everything back on so will be on MJ for quite some time whilst by body hopefully adjusts to its ‘new normal’ and will see how things go.

Have been having a few too many UPFs lately so planning a healthy food delivery and popping to the butchers for the weekend for easy cook protein rich stuff like nice chicken / meat skewers etc that I can have with salad, veggies etc. Nothing like seeing people struggling in hospital to make you think carefully about trying to preserve your health (within reason, we need to have fun too, and I have poured a giant glass of rose after schlepping about here there and everywhere, juggling work and home!).

Female, 45
SW: 16 stone 7 (Nov ‘24)
1st GW: 11 stone
Various GWs at half stone increments below 11 stone
Final GW: 9 stone 7
CW: 9 stone 7

Lost:
7 stone or 44.5kg or 98 guinea pigs 🐹

Starting BMI: 37.4
Current BMI: 21.5

All my metrics on the Renpho app are green with the exception of subcutaneous fat which is still 27.2%. Pretty sure I have lipoedema (thank you instagram for the lightbulb moment!) so that does potentially explain some of that, and I also have wobbly skin in places which may be read as fat by the scales.

So sorry to hear about your DH, and hope he’s on the upswing. My dad managed heart failure for a very long time - that’s why he was so into “nutritionmaxxing” before it went mainstream. The into-hospital-adjust-meds-more-diaretics cycle really resonates with me. Hope he’s feeling better soon. 💐

RayonSunrise · 21/05/2026 09:05

Should also add through, @Goldleafcat - a 21 BMI, you teeny thing! Are you needing to redownsize your wardrobe again?

SerenePeer · 21/05/2026 09:09

Goodness me @goldleafcat what a stressful time - glad to hear your dh is doing better now.

7 stone lost!! That's truly amazing! I dont blame you for wanted to hit 100lbs loss - go for it!!

Love this! Although if I’ve read this correctly, there were 75 people who attended… Not sure that makes a festival but FairPlay to them!

And the 7 stone loss is official! 🥳🥳🥳
Along with a BMI that's 27 point something and body fat that is a mere 1.8% above 'acceptable'.
Work is entering a stupid phase so I think my old friend cortisol will be entering the chat, but that end goal actually feels in sight now.

RayonSunrise · 22/05/2026 11:08

7 stone lost @PinkArt, that’s amazing! Well done. 💪

I’ve just reordered from Pharmulus and as I’m using my “spare” pen (I’ve been making sure I have one in reserve since the price increases insanity last year), I accidentally let nearly six weeks lapse since my last order and now they’re challenging me to prove I’m still taking WLIs. I have explained I’m using a spare pen and asked what proof they would like, exactly. What a palaver!

Friday update from me live from my new fancy garden furniture… it’s 27 degrees here 🌞🕶️🙌

weight: 133/134lbs - might do a MeThreeSixty tomorrow as I think I’m putting on muscle.

Movement: have been really good this week. Average of about 13k steps per day. 5 x treadmill walks (recommend the Kylie documentary on Netflix and Rivals on Disney!) 5 x Pvolve, 5 dog walks, 1 x 2hrs of tennis and 3 Lagree classes 💪

Nutrition: got over my fear of cottage cheese this week and bought ‘The Estate Dairy’ one from Ocado. It’s made with jersey milk. Was delish. Had in on sourdough this morning with smashed Avocado/chilii/lime mix, grilled bacon and a drizzle of chipotle honey. Yum!

Beauty: been very good this week no spend week.next week is holiday prep so things will change..

Fashion: bought two lovely dresses after my Lagree class yesterday. The guess one looks particularly lovely I think. Very fitted at the waist. Also love the brand sundress. So this gold/white dress was right up my street and there was only one left..

Lovely to hear from you! Keep going!

I can report that after all of my extensive research into various body creams/treatments/exercise… That my body looks no better than it did 12 months ago 😭

What did you try?! I’ve started doing a roller thingy on my thighs which I think quite good - looks like an instrument of torture though . I started this after I got my legs lasered. I think that has helped too x

Oh those dresses are gorgeous @Mounjaropen - particularly the sundress one! It's begging to be taken someone fancy so it can waft around helping you enjoy sunset drinks 🍸

I'm in a bit of a panic at the weather next week! It's probably 15 degrees colder here than in London and I've forgotten how to dress for London in the heat! 🙈
