Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

Morning all. Why is it so hard to go back to work after a bank holiday? I’ve started creatine this weekend and seen a small increase in the scales and trying not to care too much about it! Did parkrun and a longer session after run at the weekend. And also a girls drinking day - it’s all about balance 🧘‍♀️😂

so far being back on MJ is going well. No side effects. I’m about 5lbs down in 2 weeks. BMI is back at 23.

last week I bought a vibration plate after being spammed by them on my socials. I’m using it for waking up/lymphatic drainage in the morning. And pre and post runs. Not 100% sure what it does but happily giving it a go! Has anyone else got one?

RayonSunrise · 05/05/2026 10:27

Being back at work this morning is indeed a pain, @Cantbesure! I’ve never tried a vibration plate, but will be interested to hear if you notice any benefits over time.

Speaking of swimwear, has anyone tried Toco? They keep turning up on my socials (speaking of being influenced…) and they look like they may be quite DD+ friendly.

Morning!

I am also considering a power plate. The best one is obviously the original Power plate due to the frequency is operates at - however I definitely don't want to spend a couple of grand...but I understand that some of the cheaper ones from Argos etc have a beneficial effect, my plan was to use it at the same time as brushing my teeth.

Hard agree about a post BH slump. I'm going to exercise later this afternoon rather than this morning as I have zero motivation after a weekend of drinking!

Glad you liked the swimsuit @Mounjaropen!

I'm also going to see The Devil Wears Prada this weekend. Sounds like it will be a bit. Haven't been doing so well on the exercise front, but have been eating better and have a kickboxing class this morning which is always good for the endorphins.

Keep going!

Also noticed Curvy Kate is on Brand Alley at a slightly lower price point. ;-)

Ooh fabulous plans! I am also seeing The Devil Wears Prada 2 this weekend - going to a fancy cinema tomorrow evening with a friend, and having dinner at a nice Japanese too which will be fun. Need to think about what to wear!

That jacket is stunning! Interesting how a few of us are suddenly considering filler for our lower face. I think @lovealongbath looks fab with hers which is very reassuring. I’m going to see if my face settles a little bit first but suspect it is in my future. Still planning polynucleotides too though, so I need to think carefully about budget and timing!
(But it’s an investment right?!)

I think what has potentially put me off filler is seeing young girls who don’t need it go a bit mad and then it looks a bit uncanny. I’m hoping that as long as it’s focused and used properly on areas / faces that actually need it, the effect will be a lot more natural.

Despite seemingly munching for England this week my weight has come down a tad to a new low of 9 stone 8.6lbs (1.6lbs off 7 stone!). I have focused on protein though and haven’t fancied sweet treats or crisps.
Another year has dropped off on the Renpho scales (wish it did in real life too!).

I’ve splashed out on a couple of pairs of those Vivaia shoes and will see how they fit / feel. I’ve been living in trainers / boots and want a shoe that I can actually wear and walk in but look a little smarter at the same time. I imagine I’ll need to break them in a bit from reading reviews but after that hopefully it’ll all be grand. We will see!

Went to the hairdresser this week and had quite a bit of my length cut off, and the usual highlights. Roll on the long weekend!

That weight loss is stunning!

Hope you enjoyed THDWP2 and your new shoes!

I started in September 24, so this is the nearest suitable thread for me. SW 14 stone 10 lbs. CW 9 stone 7 1/2, so 1/2 lb to goal. I would never have thought it possible. I’ve used Mounjaro, going up to 10 mg. Few side effects and consistent losses. I feel very pleased, though bits of my body do look like deflated balloons. I have just treated myself to a pair of trousers from a shop I would never have dared enter at my biggest for fear of being judged. Now the challenge of maintenance!

Welcome and well done on that weight loss! Amazing!

It’s been 10 weeks since I last checked in as I set myself a goal of not checking in until I had reached 5 stone loss. This morning, I have done it.
Who would ever have thought that I could lose 5 stone.

It has taken me 77 weeks and 15 pens to achieve this.
I micro dosed and it took a year to reach 5mg, I have stayed on 5 mg for 25 weeks, but last week increased to 5.25mg.

week 77
SW 18st 4.3lbs
CW 13 stone 3.6lbs

Total loss so far, 5 stone 0.5lb or 32kg
I have lost 28% of my starting weight
SBMI 43
CBMI 31.8

Plan moving forward…..
I would like to lose another stone but happy to take this very slowly and set a target of a year to do this, I would be happy if I can lose a 1lb per month.
Reason being I’m desperately avoiding loose skin and that is now more important to me than numbers on the scales.
I am very comfortable, confident and content with the weight I currently am. If I lose another stone, I will still be in the overweight BMI category but I think I am currently carrying my weight well and I don’t want to be too thin for my frame.

Since my update on wearing a topper, I have moved on to being a full time wig wearer. I have a wee collection of budget friendly wigs now and I am loving wearing different colours and styles depending on my mood. It has given me so much confidence.

So my collection consists of…..
Grey choppy bob
Grey bouncy flouncy kicking off shoulder number
Warm brown but not quite auburn shoulder length wolf cut
Dark warm blonde bob
Cool brown tones bob
and wait for it……
an apricot blonde , shoulder length with water waves number. And can I just add that i have never been a blonde in my entire life and blondes most definitely have more fun 😉 .

And finally, I can’t actually believe I have done this, but due to my “ Ozempic face” I have had 2ml of filler and I am very happy with results.
I will post before and after , I imagine they will need to be approved so might not show straight away.

So happy to read your update! The filler results look amazing 😍

5 stone badge for you! 👏

@Cantbesure I’ve been spacing doses for a while now - usually around 10-12 days, which does lead to a noticeable 3-4 days of little appetite followed by a slow build up to slightly hungrier (but still entirely manageable) feelings by time to inject again.

Mounjaropen has been counting clicks and taken a smaller dose weekly to stretch out her pens, or at least she was a while ago. @Mounjaropen, is that still the case? How are you finding it?

And lol over needing to find excuses to glam up. I have some cracking outfits now, it’s nice to “dress up” to hit the town centre!

Edited

I'm afraid I went back to a weekly dose of 5mg. I did get down to 2.5mg but it is obviously not a therapeutic dose for me. All good though, I have accepted my fate...

@RayonSunrise I think I have one of the M&S from Vinted. I highly recommend the sports bras from Lidl. £4.99 and so comfortable. I’m fed up with underwires. I wouldn’t wear them for sports but great for every day.

exciting about getting glammed up. I’ve got a wedding in September and have a number of dresses arriving from Vinted. My wardrobe won’t match my lifestyle if I keep them all so I’ll have to glam up to put out the bins 😂

OOh - we need to hear more about the vinted dresses!

I just bought this skirt from Little Mistress over the weekend. Bargain!

Hello all! Glad to hear you’re all enjoying the glorious sunshine and planning your summer holiday wear. I’m still maintaining and enjoying reshaping my wardrobe. I’ve even worn SHORTS to wfh recently!

My personal thermostat seems to have normalised, though I do remember being very cold in the early months when I had very little appetite and a lot of weight to lose. I think it was my calorie deficit, pure and simple. I am no longer running one, so my temp feels normal?

In other news, I’m going to a glam evening wedding in Nov and am starting to look for something fab to wear to it. Yay! I was very excited when Reiss had a 50% off sale a few weeks ago and pounced on the chance to try one of their square necked/wide leg evening jumpsuits. On paper it should have been perfect, but the cut was all wrong - needed a smaller bust, and I’d also have needed a “bathroom buddy” to help with the floating zip at the back so was also wildly impractical. Boo!

So back to the drawing board. I saw a similar square neck/wide leg jumpsuit am Aym Studio but am not sure how I feel about such a stretchy-type outfit at my age OR for a mate’s wedding.

So I am still on the lookout for the right level of glammed up + good fit. Fingers crossed.

Congratulations on the shorts wearing!

Have a look at Karen Millen for jumpsuits? They have some great bits at the moment.

Yes am still colder (or too hot, I swing between), as have previously said am sure our brains don’t know how to adjust our internal heating/cooling inline with weight loss. Plus less insulation of course. And loose skin probably complicates things.

im down almost half my holiday gain. Not jabbed again yet as had D&V over the weekend (helped this loss) and don’t want to add anything else that might upset me.

I’m pretty sure I’ve a new food intolerance, as a few times recently Ive puffed up with wind before the vomit arrived, which is what I’m like with Kale.

Hope you all have lovely bank holiday plans ahead.

Goodness! I hope you feel better and found the root cause of the issue?

Temp regulation is fine for me - I only overheat if I have been drinking alcohol these days....

It's very much conference season in my industry at the moment. I'm on a panel this week and then there's a big event in a couple of weeks. I'm getting a lot of 'you look well!' from people I haven't seen for a year or so. Much prefer this to more personal comments and questions which I'll happily accept from friends but ideally not from tipsy men I happen to exchange deal gossip with from time to time.

random223 · 06/05/2026 07:40

I am still cold but have taken off my thermals this weekend!

My exciting news is that I have maintained my GW of 9 st 7 for 6 months today. I currently weigh 9 st 6 and I am still trying to lose a bit (without much success!) but I think maintaining is equally as hard so trying to celebrate that.

Tipsy men were the bane of my (very male dominated) career. A Few drinks and they thought they were irresistible to me 🙄

Enjoy the compliments from the sane people!

Morning all! We made it to Friday. 🎉

Busy week here as I’m off to Center Parcs next Monday and lots of boring work bits to finish off! Weather is looking absolutely freezing which I’m not too impressed with. Like many of you, I’m definitely still feeling the cold more. When I got into the office yesterday my hands were blue (despite the fake tan I aspirationally applied on Wednesday)!

Had a fun evening out with a friend last night, she gets invited to lots of freebie events so I came as a bit of a plus one and enjoyed canapés / drinks in a lovely venue, and most importantly had a lovely catch up. Wore a Monsoon dress I got on vinted a while back which FINALLY fits (it’s a very small fitting 14!). Had lots of compliments in the office which was lovely (and no ‘you look too thin nonsense).

@Mounjaropen has influenced me to consider snail mucin and whilst checking out on an order on Amazon it temptingly showed me that the Corsx Advanced 96 is only £13 at the moment! So that has arrived and I’ll brave trying it this weekend! 🐌

My weight is holding steady (was actually still 9 stone 8 yesterday, didn’t brave weighing this morning after last nights fizz and food). On 12.5mg and it’s going well so far. Have two emergency 15mgs I ordered which I may use to take split doses somewhere down the line… Still working out my long term strategy!

Have a lovely Friday everyone

Oceangrey · 08/05/2026 12:28

Those of you who are ordering from Pharmulous, how on earth have you managed it?! I tried today and first of all whenever I went away from the online form to record the video it asked for, the form reset and I had to fill it all out again. But more importantly when I went to our upload my video which was all of 23 seconds long including saying my name, dob and the date and then weighing myself, it said the video was too large. It looks like only a five second video would be small enough. I'm just recording this on my phone in the normal way so I don't know how they could reasonably expect a video to fit their requirements - then when I tried to save the form it just said 'saving' forever and did not actually save. I've tried to call them three times and each time the number rings and rings and then cuts off.

Any other supplier suggestions?

4th GW: 11st 4lbs

Another week of no change - focusing though on enjoying how far I have come and not being annoyed with how slow it is now. I had set a weird milestone of wanting to hit 7 stones lost by Eurovision but it's a week earlier than I thought so I don't think I'll quite hit it. I do have a new size 14 dress for it though that would never in a million years have fitted last Eurovision.

RayonSunrise · 08/05/2026 14:29

Hello all, happy Friday! Today has been a weigh-in day:

SW: 93kg (14st 9lb)
GW: 63kg (10st)
CW: 62.8kg (9st 7)

…not quite sure how that little weight loss happened, given as I’ve been maintaining happily between 63/nearly 64 for a now. This puts my BMI and just under 20 and is a reminder to keep up my protein intake and strength traininng.

@OceangreyI had the same problem with my Pharmulous video and realised I literally just had time to show myself in a mirror, then to my height tape, then down to my feet stepping on the scale. That’s it Tool a couple of attempts, but I managed! I’ll see how this next order goes.

@Goldleafcat I love that snail mucin (sounds so weird anything that). I use the lighter one in the AM under my day cream and the really heavy gloopy one over my facial oil at night. Magic stuff!

@Mounjaropen thank you for the Karen Millen reminder, I’d not looked there. Am suddenly not sure what I want to wear now and am dithering - I feel like a big try-on day would help, but so much is online only now.

RayonSunrise · 08/05/2026 14:31

@PinkArtI love your Eurovision milestone! Do you dress up to watch, or is it more of a calendar marker for the dress?

Gettingbysomehow · 08/05/2026 15:56

Mounjaropen · 28/04/2026 12:12

Lol. On that note, everyone I know who has had a boob job deeply regrets it. From scarring to burst implants, the 'dodgy implants needing to be replaced to getting lumps post operative - they all wish they'd left well alone...

Bingo wings - my friend has had extensive surgery to remove skin after a gastric sleeve - painful and a lot of scarring post operative. She had lost 13 stone though so very different to a lot of us on here.

Obviously we all dream of an instant fix, but it's not without issue 😭

I look like a prune. I'd have to win the lottery to have all the surgery I need.

Cantbesure · 08/05/2026 16:02

@Oceangrey I didn’t have any problems with my pharmulous video. I just put a full length mirror in my bathroom and filmed myself full length and then standing onto my scales and the display. It uploaded straight away and was approved and posted the next day.

wow @RayonSunrise you must be teeny tiny with. BMI below 20. Before this thread I’d never even have attempted to get below 24 but I can see I’d look slimmer at a lower BMI (currently 23) but not sure I’d be able to maintain it. You are doing amazingly.

another snail mucin convert here. Just make sure to put it on wet skin (same as HA).

Oceangrey · 08/05/2026 16:43

Maybe it's a new restriction on the video. My scales don't work in under 5sec so it's impossible.

Also unimpressed they don't answer the phone (just tried again), and that even when I uploaded a short dummy video that was accepted, it still wouldn't progress to the next page.

So I'm open to suggestions of other providers.

random223 · 08/05/2026 17:09

@Oceangrey - I had a problem with the Pharmalous website saving forms and not completing my payment (despite waiting ages). I spoke to their customer service and they said I needed to log in under incognito mode. That seemed to fix it and haven't had similar problems. It seemed to be a common issue with their website that they were aware of. Not sure if it would also fix the video issue - I did save mine low quality rather than high quality.
