Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

Yes am still colder (or too hot, I swing between), as have previously said am sure our brains don’t know how to adjust our internal heating/cooling inline with weight loss. Plus less insulation of course. And loose skin probably complicates things.

im down almost half my holiday gain. Not jabbed again yet as had D&V over the weekend (helped this loss) and don’t want to add anything else that might upset me.

I’m pretty sure I’ve a new food intolerance, as a few times recently Ive puffed up with wind before the vomit arrived, which is what I’m like with Kale.

Hope you all have lovely bank holiday plans ahead.

Dreamqueen · 28/04/2026 14:52

Is anyone else still feeling really cold?🥶. I’m constantly cold. Everyone else in my house is in t shirts and dh is in shorts. They can’t understand why in still wearing 3 layers.

Yes. Still taking a hot water bottle to bed most nights and surgically attached to my thermal vests!

Cantbesure · 29/04/2026 10:36

Loving this sunshine. And I’m 4lbs down and back in my weight range. So all is good with the world!! 😂

I’ve taken one 2.5mg 10 days ago. Thinking about spacing out the doses over 10-14 days just to give me some support. Is anyone else finding spacing doses helpful?

Oceangrey · 29/04/2026 10:43

Hope you like the swimsuit @Mounjaropen! Let me know. I also have the black one.

I'm also cold. I assumed this was just my usual preference for heat but yeah the weight loss probably hasn't helped. Sitting here wrapped in my heated throw whilst working.

This weekend was the first time this year it's been warm enough for me, over 20 degrees. I should really live somewhere further south.

Cantbesure · 29/04/2026 11:22

@Oceangreythaks for the curvy Kate link. I’ve ordered a strapless bra in their suggested size. I’ve been wanting to get one for a while.

RayonSunrise · 29/04/2026 11:57

Hello all! Glad to hear you’re all enjoying the glorious sunshine and planning your summer holiday wear. I’m still maintaining and enjoying reshaping my wardrobe. I’ve even worn SHORTS to wfh recently!

My personal thermostat seems to have normalised, though I do remember being very cold in the early months when I had very little appetite and a lot of weight to lose. I think it was my calorie deficit, pure and simple. I am no longer running one, so my temp feels normal?

In other news, I’m going to a glam evening wedding in Nov and am starting to look for something fab to wear to it. Yay! I was very excited when Reiss had a 50% off sale a few weeks ago and pounced on the chance to try one of their square necked/wide leg evening jumpsuits. On paper it should have been perfect, but the cut was all wrong - needed a smaller bust, and I’d also have needed a “bathroom buddy” to help with the floating zip at the back so was also wildly impractical. Boo!

So back to the drawing board. I saw a similar square neck/wide leg jumpsuit am Aym Studio but am not sure how I feel about such a stretchy-type outfit at my age OR for a mate’s wedding.

So I am still on the lookout for the right level of glammed up + good fit. Fingers crossed.

I’ve been very impressed with M&S lately. They seem to be walking quite a successful line of decent basics and affordable (but not completely rubbish quality) trend pieces. I got a flared double cloth maxi skirt there the other day that will be perfect for wafting around on holiday!

Cantbesure · 29/04/2026 14:34

@RayonSunrise I think I have one of the M&S from Vinted. I highly recommend the sports bras from Lidl. £4.99 and so comfortable. I’m fed up with underwires. I wouldn’t wear them for sports but great for every day.

exciting about getting glammed up. I’ve got a wedding in September and have a number of dresses arriving from Vinted. My wardrobe won’t match my lifestyle if I keep them all so I’ll have to glam up to put out the bins 😂

RayonSunrise · 29/04/2026 15:54

@Cantbesure I’ve been spacing doses for a while now - usually around 10-12 days, which does lead to a noticeable 3-4 days of little appetite followed by a slow build up to slightly hungrier (but still entirely manageable) feelings by time to inject again.

Mounjaropen has been counting clicks and taken a smaller dose weekly to stretch out her pens, or at least she was a while ago. @Mounjaropen, is that still the case? How are you finding it?

And lol over needing to find excuses to glam up. I have some cracking outfits now, it’s nice to “dress up” to hit the town centre!

lovealongbath · 30/04/2026 07:14

It’s been 10 weeks since I last checked in as I set myself a goal of not checking in until I had reached 5 stone loss. This morning, I have done it.
Who would ever have thought that I could lose 5 stone.

It has taken me 77 weeks and 15 pens to achieve this.
I micro dosed and it took a year to reach 5mg, I have stayed on 5 mg for 25 weeks, but last week increased to 5.25mg.

week 77
SW 18st 4.3lbs
CW 13 stone 3.6lbs

Total loss so far, 5 stone 0.5lb or 32kg
I have lost 28% of my starting weight
SBMI 43
CBMI 31.8

Plan moving forward…..
I would like to lose another stone but happy to take this very slowly and set a target of a year to do this, I would be happy if I can lose a 1lb per month.
Reason being I’m desperately avoiding loose skin and that is now more important to me than numbers on the scales.
I am very comfortable, confident and content with the weight I currently am. If I lose another stone, I will still be in the overweight BMI category but I think I am currently carrying my weight well and I don’t want to be too thin for my frame.

Since my update on wearing a topper, I have moved on to being a full time wig wearer. I have a wee collection of budget friendly wigs now and I am loving wearing different colours and styles depending on my mood. It has given me so much confidence.

So my collection consists of…..
Grey choppy bob
Grey bouncy flouncy kicking off shoulder number
Warm brown but not quite auburn shoulder length wolf cut
Dark warm blonde bob
Cool brown tones bob
and wait for it……
an apricot blonde , shoulder length with water waves number. And can I just add that i have never been a blonde in my entire life and blondes most definitely have more fun 😉 .

And finally, I can’t actually believe I have done this, but due to my “ Ozempic face” I have had 2ml of filler and I am very happy with results.
I will post before and after , I imagine they will need to be approved so might not show straight away.

Lovely to hear from you! Excellent work on the 5 stone that is incredible! Well done 🙌

Your filler also looks amazing - I’ve been much more conscious of the same area on my face and mulling over whether filler would help. It honestly looks brilliant. How do you feel about it? Is it something that will need topping up? You look great

Goldleafcat · 30/04/2026 09:45

On a completely different topic, has anyone tried Vivaia shoes?

Cantbesure · 30/04/2026 10:41

@lovealongbath wow what an amazing achievement. And that filler is chef’s kiss amazing. Tell us more!!

Onefairfish · 30/04/2026 11:59

I started in September 24, so this is the nearest suitable thread for me. SW 14 stone 10 lbs. CW 9 stone 7 1/2, so 1/2 lb to goal. I would never have thought it possible. I’ve used Mounjaro, going up to 10 mg. Few side effects and consistent losses. I feel very pleased, though bits of my body do look like deflated balloons. I have just treated myself to a pair of trousers from a shop I would never have dared enter at my biggest for fear of being judged. Now the challenge of maintenance!

congratulations @lovealongbath that is a really happy inspiring post. I love the different hair choices. My DIL's grandma wears wigs and says it's really liberating, no stress or worry about combing her hair right and makes getting ready in the morning so much quicker.

Mounjaropen · 01/05/2026 08:57

Happy Friday y’all. And it’s a bank holiday one! 🥳

Weekly update from me:

Weight: 132.6lbs - feeling pretty good at this weight - my stats are all green on the Renpho app which now gives me an age of 51. Feel like I’ve added muscle of late. Might do a me360 over the weekend to check the inches. Still on the weekly 5mg which I think is ‘my’ dose. New pen arrived from Pharmulous (who are marvellous) and I’ve metaphorically stuck two fingers up at the beggy emails from Oushk. I’m not interested in companies who give crap service. Having been in luxury retail for many, many years how you treat people when you have a hot product that you don’t need to try and sell is imperative because when you don’t have the hottest product or they have a wider choice in retailer, they don’t choose you…

Exercise: have completed 5 x Pvolve - some really excellent classes were added this week which were right up my street so I’ve really enjoyed them. 1 x Lagree, 1 x Tennis 5 x incline treadmill walks watching ‘unchosen’ on Netflix (quite good) and dog walks every day.

Beauty: went to a clinic event last night with a friend.. was very restrained but did speak to the doctor (moto:refreshed not done) who suggested I might need some filler to support the lower face. She’s not cheap but my god she looks fabulous and not ‘done’ at all.

Fashion - wore my new Zara lace jacket with just a nude bra underneath (go me!) which got compliments. Would recommend. Returned everything else in the parcel (a first for me) . Loved the curvy Kate swimsuit! Thanks for the tip @Oceangrey - off to check out the sports bras too.

https://www.zara.com/uk/en/zw-collection-lace-blazer-p01758050.html?v1=505986878

Food: been on my own this week as DH has been away on business so it’s been chicken all the way. I’ve made bone broth this week too which is a great replacement for a black coffee for the afternoons/evenings. delicious.

off to see the Devil wears prada 2 at the cinema in selfridges today (where else would you want to watch it? 😆) plus they serve Miraval rose as their house rose.😉 Followed by a boozy lunch with DH. I bought us new garden furniture whilst he was away and it arrived yesterday so plan on spending a lot of time sat on it with a glass of rose in hand 😂 I did see there was a thread on here about how much you can spend without consulting your spouse - general consensus seemed to be £100… I spent way more than that, no consultation with DH who was thrilled it was the sort of furniture that came with cushions he didn’t need to put away each time 🤣 that’s blokes for you.

Hope everyone has something lovely planned for the weekend with something equally lovely in a glass!

Ooh fabulous plans! I am also seeing The Devil Wears Prada 2 this weekend - going to a fancy cinema tomorrow evening with a friend, and having dinner at a nice Japanese too which will be fun. Need to think about what to wear!

That jacket is stunning! Interesting how a few of us are suddenly considering filler for our lower face. I think @lovealongbath looks fab with hers which is very reassuring. I’m going to see if my face settles a little bit first but suspect it is in my future. Still planning polynucleotides too though, so I need to think carefully about budget and timing!
(But it’s an investment right?!)

I think what has potentially put me off filler is seeing young girls who don’t need it go a bit mad and then it looks a bit uncanny. I’m hoping that as long as it’s focused and used properly on areas / faces that actually need it, the effect will be a lot more natural.

Despite seemingly munching for England this week my weight has come down a tad to a new low of 9 stone 8.6lbs (1.6lbs off 7 stone!). I have focused on protein though and haven’t fancied sweet treats or crisps.
Another year has dropped off on the Renpho scales (wish it did in real life too!).

I’ve splashed out on a couple of pairs of those Vivaia shoes and will see how they fit / feel. I’ve been living in trainers / boots and want a shoe that I can actually wear and walk in but look a little smarter at the same time. I imagine I’ll need to break them in a bit from reading reviews but after that hopefully it’ll all be grand. We will see!

Went to the hairdresser this week and had quite a bit of my length cut off, and the usual highlights. Roll on the long weekend!

No official change this week, although I was a teeny little pound off that 7 stone loss at one point mid week. I'm dedicating time this weekend to going through All The Dresses to see what actually fits well. Today's dress that didn't fit at all when I bought it, was a little snug last time it was sunny, now looks too big. Lovely problem to have but I think I need to stop finding out that stuff doesn't really fit when I'm already on the tube!

Big woop woop @lovealongbath. I've got heavy on the topical PDRN/ salmon sperm in the last couple of weeks but an very much absorbing any updates from anyone who's started exploring injectables.

Oceangrey · 02/05/2026 08:06

Glad you liked the swimsuit @Mounjaropen!

I'm also going to see The Devil Wears Prada this weekend. Sounds like it will be a bit. Haven't been doing so well on the exercise front, but have been eating better and have a kickboxing class this morning which is always good for the endorphins.

Mounjaropen · 02/05/2026 08:23

Morning peeps!

Gonna catch up on the thread this morning whilst DH cuts the grass 😉

TDWP2 is awesome. If you like Colin from accounts, you’ll be thrilled to see Patrick Brammall appear as a main character. DH went on an old school date - used the photo booth before going in 😂 we also went to the Louis Vuitton Hotel pop up post film which seemed a fitting place to have a drink. Was delightful.

obviously I preface the film review by saying that manners in cinemas are at an all time low. If you need to check your phone - go outside!
