Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

Yes am still colder (or too hot, I swing between), as have previously said am sure our brains don’t know how to adjust our internal heating/cooling inline with weight loss. Plus less insulation of course. And loose skin probably complicates things.

im down almost half my holiday gain. Not jabbed again yet as had D&V over the weekend (helped this loss) and don’t want to add anything else that might upset me.

I’m pretty sure I’ve a new food intolerance, as a few times recently Ive puffed up with wind before the vomit arrived, which is what I’m like with Kale.

Hope you all have lovely bank holiday plans ahead.

Is anyone else still feeling really cold?🥶. I’m constantly cold. Everyone else in my house is in t shirts and dh is in shorts. They can’t understand why in still wearing 3 layers.

Yes. Still taking a hot water bottle to bed most nights and surgically attached to my thermal vests!

Loving this sunshine. And I’m 4lbs down and back in my weight range. So all is good with the world!! 😂

I’ve taken one 2.5mg 10 days ago. Thinking about spacing out the doses over 10-14 days just to give me some support. Is anyone else finding spacing doses helpful?

Oceangrey · Yesterday 10:43

Hope you like the swimsuit @Mounjaropen! Let me know. I also have the black one.

I'm also cold. I assumed this was just my usual preference for heat but yeah the weight loss probably hasn't helped. Sitting here wrapped in my heated throw whilst working.

This weekend was the first time this year it's been warm enough for me, over 20 degrees. I should really live somewhere further south.

Cantbesure · Yesterday 11:22

@Oceangreythaks for the curvy Kate link. I’ve ordered a strapless bra in their suggested size. I’ve been wanting to get one for a while.

Hello all! Glad to hear you’re all enjoying the glorious sunshine and planning your summer holiday wear. I’m still maintaining and enjoying reshaping my wardrobe. I’ve even worn SHORTS to wfh recently!

My personal thermostat seems to have normalised, though I do remember being very cold in the early months when I had very little appetite and a lot of weight to lose. I think it was my calorie deficit, pure and simple. I am no longer running one, so my temp feels normal?

In other news, I’m going to a glam evening wedding in Nov and am starting to look for something fab to wear to it. Yay! I was very excited when Reiss had a 50% off sale a few weeks ago and pounced on the chance to try one of their square necked/wide leg evening jumpsuits. On paper it should have been perfect, but the cut was all wrong - needed a smaller bust, and I’d also have needed a “bathroom buddy” to help with the floating zip at the back so was also wildly impractical. Boo!

So back to the drawing board. I saw a similar square neck/wide leg jumpsuit am Aym Studio but am not sure how I feel about such a stretchy-type outfit at my age OR for a mate’s wedding.

So I am still on the lookout for the right level of glammed up + good fit. Fingers crossed.

I am a big Curvy Kate fan for swimwear in particular and their Scantilly brand 'nightwear' although tend to go to Bravissimo for bras.

Latest bra find is this two pack of sports bras from M&S, £30 bargain for an H-cup, very comfortable, nice shape, no underwires and actually work better than others which are much more expensive. I've been wearing them for WFH days as well as for exercise.

I’ve been very impressed with M&S lately. They seem to be walking quite a successful line of decent basics and affordable (but not completely rubbish quality) trend pieces. I got a flared double cloth maxi skirt there the other day that will be perfect for wafting around on holiday!

Cantbesure · Yesterday 14:34

@RayonSunrise I think I have one of the M&S from Vinted. I highly recommend the sports bras from Lidl. £4.99 and so comfortable. I’m fed up with underwires. I wouldn’t wear them for sports but great for every day.

exciting about getting glammed up. I’ve got a wedding in September and have a number of dresses arriving from Vinted. My wardrobe won’t match my lifestyle if I keep them all so I’ll have to glam up to put out the bins 😂

RayonSunrise · Yesterday 15:54

@Cantbesure I’ve been spacing doses for a while now - usually around 10-12 days, which does lead to a noticeable 3-4 days of little appetite followed by a slow build up to slightly hungrier (but still entirely manageable) feelings by time to inject again.

Mounjaropen has been counting clicks and taken a smaller dose weekly to stretch out her pens, or at least she was a while ago. @Mounjaropen, is that still the case? How are you finding it?

And lol over needing to find excuses to glam up. I have some cracking outfits now, it’s nice to “dress up” to hit the town centre!
