Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

Congrats @Gettingbysomehow- that’s amazing news!

Oceangrey · 24/04/2026 06:31

Wow, congratulations that's amazing.

SerenePeer · 24/04/2026 06:55

Oh 💩 I've just weighed myself after not being near the scales in 2 (maybe 3?) weeks. Remember I said I was ravenous and eating like a demon? Yup. It shows. 4lb up 😭 After being on 7.5mg for 8 weeks. 😭 Guess I need to go back up to 10mg? 💸💸💸

SerenePeer · 24/04/2026 08:11

Ok. Must not panic. These 4lbs are not the end of the world. They are simply a mixture of lots of family birthdays over the past few weeks, too many episodes of eating out of politeness to avoid the "you're too skinny" comments and scrutiny, having Easter chocolate with every hot drink, not enough water and not getting my steps in.

That nonsense stops today. I'm back on my treadmill as I type and have set up my standing desk again. Claude has just written me a meal plan and shopping list and i have dusted off my emotional support Stanley 'cup'.

Let's go skinny bithches. Adios 4lbs then an additional 4lbs on top to get me finally to goal 💣

Oceangrey · 24/04/2026 09:48

Have put on 2lb. Am with you! Let's stop the increase here and keep going.

Turns out if you eat a whole bar of Tonys on a Thursday night you can't expect to see 12st 11 on a Friday morning! Last week's gain has gone though. I've eaten really well this week as I did a great pre-tube strike food shop, just supplemented it with a bit too much post Easter chocolate. So I'm going into this week really focused on hitting that 7 stone milestone because it's been close for far too long now.

Indeed, must not panic 😊 4lb is nothing and can creep up on you. Think about what’s changed (sounds like you have) and revert back to good habits and some movement. It’s so lovely outside now so it’s far easier to get steps etc in.

Happened to me and I was able to avoid further gains but reverting to fresh food again.

@Goldleafcat was it you with a weight obsessed MIL? If so, I raise you… My mother 🤣 Honestly no idea if to laugh or cry!

Mounjaropen · 24/04/2026 11:35

Happy Friday everyone!

Quick update from me:

Weight: finally back down to 132LBS/133LBS sadly my face really shows it… Not sure what I’m going to do about that!

Food: been pretty good all week, I’ve had the odd cream egg and DH went off to China yesterday for a week so I had a quick glass of rosé wine with him on Wednesday night so I’ve not been entirely angelic. We also celebrated one of the DC getting a full ride scholarship for the next two years plus a free masters program (they did work very hard but we are very proud)Have got girlfriends over for a boozy lunch on Sunday (I’m making Nigella’s cappuccino Pavlova. And also going to poach some peaches in white wine if anyone fancy something a bit lighter). I’ve also made some home-made rum and raisin ice cream which is delicious!

Beauty: still continuing to use up my stash in my drawers so my main expense has been on collagen and amino acid supplements, etc

Exercise: have been watching unchosen on the treadmill this week (Netflix new series) which is quite gripping, have also played tennis, 5X Pvolve and this week 2 x Lagree classes (including one for social media content.. get me!) I noticed from today’s times that pscycle is now offering Lagree at a couple of London locations if anyone is interested in trying it! It certainly is very challenging…

Fashion: ordered a few bits from ZARA this week, sent about 50% of it back as I just wasn’t feeling it… Looking to add to my holiday wardrobe as my big Fat Greek holiday starts at the end of May. My biggest concern this year is swimwear… I’m struggling to find swimsuits that fit the body whilst accommodating the boobs, I think I’m gonna most likely have to resort to getting them professionally altered 😩

Secretly looking forward to a week of unbroken sleep whilst DH is away and having a tidy house whilst it’s just me and the dog 😆

Hope everyone has something fun planned for the weekend, looks like lovely weather!

Brilliant on the scholarship and masters, how wonderful.

On swimsuits, I can very highly recommend the reversible one from curvy kate. I had one when I was 36JJ and just bought another for my current 32H and they are so so good, even without underwires, the uplift is insane. I also have my eye on a few from the latest Bravissimo catalogue.

There's a black and white version on sale too.

Yes! I much prefer it. Claude will essentially build you an app if you need it to. I asked it to compare some gym programs and PT coaching options I was thinking about spending money on and it built me a gym programme tailored to my goals, recurring injuries and barriers that usually get in the way and put it all into a handy html file that feels like an app!

Gosh, that’s amazing you’ve discovered it.

Re:Polynucleotides, my friend has had this for a long time from an aesthetician to the celebs and swears by it. I’ve got terrible eye bags since childhood so I know it won’t do anything for me - I need surgery 😭

Thank you this is reassuring to know.

I think I need a boob job! And bingo wing removal!

Lol. On that note, everyone I know who has had a boob job deeply regrets it. From scarring to burst implants, the 'dodgy implants needing to be replaced to getting lumps post operative - they all wish they'd left well alone...

Bingo wings - my friend has had extensive surgery to remove skin after a gastric sleeve - painful and a lot of scarring post operative. She had lost 13 stone though so very different to a lot of us on here.

Obviously we all dream of an instant fix, but it's not without issue 😭

Gah, sorry to hear this. I think some people are just not happy if they can’t be critiquing someone else. It seems to be a form of internal validation for their own choices in life.

I was too fat. Now I’m too thin. And when I said I felt healthier and stronger, I was then told my face ‘had changed’. And she’s worried for her grandson. Fucks sake.

This is from the woman who smoked heavily for years and her current diet seems to have migrated to mostly cake, sweets and crisps.

I’m still dreaming of that magic potion in Death Becomes Her!

In total I’ve lost more than 10 stone from my very heaviest, so there’s definitely loose skin hanging about (literally). It has however improved a bit, especially on my tummy. I remember when my weight really ballooned in 2007 and I developed horrible vivid stretch marks across my stomach. As I lost weight (pre MJ) they faded. When I was pregnant there was no change because I’d already done the damage haha, so pregnancy didn’t ruin anything there!

Whenever I lose weight, it shows on my face first before my body, before generally settling down a bit. I lost a bit before Easter which I don’t think helped the ‘face change’ situation with MIL. When I look in the mirror I think it’s settled down a bit again. I’m feeling better now I’ve had my Botox again (a change to when I first got it and was so paranoid!).

I have read some accounts on here from ladies who said they initially looked gaunt after weight loss but it’s vastly improved over time. Fingers crossed for us!

I’ve just done 4 weeks on 12.5mg and my weight has stayed steady 🙌 I did however panic buy another 15mg pen in case 🤦‍♀️. I have stockpile of 12.5mg pens. Wondering whether to stick with 12.5 and have my 15mg on reserve for split doses in the future (it’s got a 2027 date thankfully).

Yes, I'm still really cold all of the time. Pre MJ I always ran hot and would live in t-shirts from March onwards until at least October.

Now sitting here in a long sleeve top, jumper and fluffy socks 🙄
