Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

@Mounjaropen oushk have definitely got me into a rage and I will not be ordering from them any more and I will not be paying for any of their maintenance scams given there is better value to be had elsewhere.

I love a bit of Swedish death cleansing myself and regularly have a clear out of kitchen cupboards etc. My kids don’t want my tat once I shuffle off. I have been operating a one in two out type policy for the past year and recently took a load of jigsaw puzzles to a local nice charity shop as they take up too much room in a cupboard. I did think about Vinted but given the size of jigsaw boxes and the fact that you would only get a couple of quid if lucky it was more hassle than it was worth.

I still haven’t achieved breaking 9 stone 8 barrier but plodding on. It’s strange I sometimes feel heavy now but didn’t feel it when I was almost 16 stone 🙄

Got a Pilates session coming up and one of the ladies last week made a comment about how it can be difficult for larger ladies to do and how they must struggle - obviously she didn’t know me when I was 6 stone heavier 😁 and I didn’t do Pilates or anything much then.

The Oushk rage is real 😂

I wasn’t sure that charity shops would welcome jigsaws given that you can’t be sure all of the pieces are there?

That Pilates Princess should like a bona fide mean girl.. I LOVE telling random people like who I’ll unlikely see again that I’ve just lost 61lbs and used the fat jabs… the look of annoyance about how I’ve ‘cheated’ is priceless 😂

9st 8 is definitely not heavy in any sense of the word..! Embrace the skinny 💪🏻

I've got a bit of a post mortem 'clear the sex toys before a family member reaches that drawer' pact with a single friend! Inspired by Queer As Folk.
We found naked photoshoot negatives of my mum, which wasn't totally surprising as my parents have had an interesting life but far more surprisingly also found a nude of her mum. I can't begin to say how unlikely this was. Like finding Hyacinth Bucket's nudes!

I also found my mum’s nudes. Also a Hyacinth Bucket wannabe. Surprising because she was very uptight about sex in general and she and my Dad hated each other. It was a miserable household, particularly once the perimenopause and menopause started. I left them for my sibling to find because they were utterly toxic and grabby 😂

But yes, I do worry about the bedside drawer if DH and I were to get wiped out together…😱 but assume kids these days are less unbothered about that sort of thing 🤞🏻

today I am down to 134lbs 💪🏻 (this may be down to the amount of Bollinger I drank yesterday - just call me Patsy, Sweetie 😂)

And Drumroll…..THE SIZE 8 ROKSANDA DRESS HAS ZIPPED UP 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Obviously I can’t breathe in it, but as my friend said, “Breathing is for losers anyway” 😂

Thank god for Lagree. Expensive, but gets the inches off 😉

This is dreadful service. And they’ll most likely send you back to 2.5mg…!

I’ve emailed them proof of the pen that I’ve bought over here. I will definitely be looking for a new provider when I get back.

Morning all!

@TheSlimmingPumpkin
I started reformer Pilates last February when I was almost 5 stone heavier than I am now. It definitely was harder - partly of course due to being a newbie with no clue but being heavier was also a key factor. Anything bridge or plank related was a real struggle due to the sheer heft of my middle 🤣 But, everyone was great and supportive which I’m so thankful for. I’m planning on doing the plank a day in April for Cancer Research. Would never have dreamt of this 12-18 months ago!

@Mounjaropen Fabulous about the dress! You’ll definitely be rocking it by the time the event comes around.

Well, I’m not sure whether to feel disappointed or relieved that I’ve never discovered nudes of my mum. Some fantastic stories though and I can imagine quite a shock at the time!

Exciting times this morning, those additional 3lbs have cleared off and whilst doing so appear to have taken another lb with them so I am at a new low of 9 stone 11lbs. Woo! My BMI is now 22.1. 💪

The sun is shining too ☀️

Mounjaropen · 27/03/2026 07:46

Friday Update from me:

Weight this morning -133.8lbs 💪🏻 BMI 22.0

Exercise - Been watching Hunters with Al Pacino on Netflix which is utterly gripping so 5 x 3 mile 5% incline walks at 4.0mph have flown by. Lagree only once this week, but my god it was a difficult class. You can literally feel your abs straight after. Utterly obsessed with it. Pvolve x 5. No tango class this week as DH was away and Tennis was rained off so next week I’ll be back up to speed.

Nutrition : Been really prioritising protein this past couple of weeks. Sainsbury’s have a whole side of salmon at half price with a nectar card at £12 at the moment so I’m buying them and then portioning with a label showing the protein content as DH is taking food from home to have for lunch so it makes it cost effective for both of us. Made a couple of lovely Em the Nutritionist recipes too. Have a treat one planned for tomorrow which includes pasta which I don’t normally have but it’s the weekend so I’ll have a cheeky wine with it.

Beauty - A no spend week 😇 and I’ve been very good with my Nuface device but utterly obsessed with my neck- I think a facelift is inevitable at some point 😭

Fashion - a no spend week 😇 And I’m looking forward to wearing my fabulous (if I do say so myself) Vinted Self portrait bargainous dress (£150 as opposed to £595) on Sunday. Managed to get a replacement belt so I think I’m gonna put it on By Rotation as a rental as I don’t feel as precious about it given that I bought it second hand. Currently it could generate £100+ a weekend. It’s very distinctive so not the sort of dress you’d wear a lot.

Off on my fancy lunch on the Pullman train gift that DH bought me for Valentine’s Day on Sunday, really looking forward to it. Hope everyone is doing something that makes them smile this weekend. 🥰

PS Oushk have been frantically messaging me like a needy ex. Too late, I’m a pharmulous bitch now (she says like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman) 😂

Just had Oushk email offering £22 off as it’s their second birthday but looking at Mounj pricing website a 10mg pen including P&P (rounded up)

£284 Oushk dropping to £264 with 22 off or £259 with 25 off (cant stack discounts obviously)

£245 Pharmulous

For 7.5mg the price difference isn’t as great with Oushk showing as £249 (£227 with 22 off or £224 with 25 off) vs £220 at Pharmulous

there are other suppliers, of course, offering a variety of discounts.

I do need to use my stockpile so not buying again until September which will probably be a 2.5mg pen to use with a 5mg pen included in stockpile.

still no progress on my supplier issue so going to get onto my credit card company today to sort it out as all I get is tumbleweed. To use Julia Roberts again in Pretty Woman ‘big mistake’. It’s all very well having a great social media presence, website, doing lives etc but if it’s not backed with customer service there’s no point.

Well jealous of the Pullman lunch experience @Mounjaropen i love those.

Having spent most of the week in the 12s I'm back up to 13s 01 this morning. I need to have a proper look at my TDEE as I seem to have accidentally ended up in maintantance when I still have around 2 stone to go. I haven't really lost for around two months now. The calculator had it at 2316 at my heaviest and 1803 now, so quite a change, but I don't think I'm eating anywhere near 1800.
A bit of calorie counting again might help me see where I'm currently off kilter with losing. My appetite hasn't changed but I'm definitely wanting to snack more than I was and I think I might need to actively fight that more than I have needed to to date.

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 27/03/2026 12:59

It’s tough @PinkArt You and I have both lost 6 stone and trying to get rid of the last lot is hard going. I think part of the problem for me at the moment is that I am toning up doing lots of exercise so building up muscle.

I think I will need to go back to calorie counting and focusing on protein. I will continue to jab at 7.5mg to finish it and then go back up to 10mg using a pen that I had planned to take lower doses from.

PinkArt · 27/03/2026 13:22

Thanks @TheSlimmingPumpkin . I think part of the problem is that I don't hate how I currently look. This is SO novel after years of hating my body that I think it's part of the reason I've not worried about some snacking, or that the scales haven't been moving, because it's just so nice not being where I was. But I do really want to get to my goal weight as I remember - in the mists of time - that felt even better than this currently does.

How are you finding the nuface? I still have my eye on the Ziip halo which is similar… I’ve managed to hold myself off and shove some money into savings but it’s on my long list for consideration.

Regarding necks, I have developed loose skin directly under my chin (not always visible, seems to vary). I put this down to both age (45 - apparently we fall off the aging cliff) (yay) and weight loss. Interestingly on Reddit the other day I saw a lady who was 23(!) and had exactly the same issue! Purely down to weight loss. I’m hoping for all of us that once we’ve stabilised it may actually improve. I was once more than 20 stone and managed to get to 12.5 (at age 38 and 40) no MJ of course and didn’t have this issue. My weight loss has been more rapid on MJ though. I too am thinking a facelift… goodness knows about cost and recovery time. I’m actually pleased to see celebs talking about their experiences - refreshingly honest and not gate keeping. As much as I love Trinny I strongly suspect she’s had a facelift too!

I think I feel better using it, but I need to be really consistent. Going to look at a few videos to check if I’m using the best technique today. However, could I do one side of my face and see a remarkable difference to the other? No.

I think the declining quality of skin laxity after weight loss is a definite side effect of MJ given that it can affect YP as well as old girls like me. But tbh I’d rather be old and thin with a slack neck than fat, breathless, squeezing myself into shapewear so I can wear yet another tent shaped dress….!

Happy weekend skinny minnies.

Just checking in - no weight loss but I'm not surprised. Had quite an indulgent week in London so wasn't expecting a loss - any loss would have been miraculous in fact!

I've just placed an order with Oushk 🙈 but having caught up with everyone's woes with them I'm expecting to get punted down to 2.5mg after my video consultation! What a pain in the butt! Have bookmarked pharmulous as recommended @Mounjaropen or I'll use HeySlim again (although the video evidence I uploaded to their website was shockingly inaccurate (my scales were misbehaving being on carpet and weighing me 1 stone lighter!! 😱 so how they approved me i shall never know! Makes me very suspicious of them!)

Oh! Anyone else watching The Madison? I'm completely obsessed with Michelle Pfieffer 😍 I just ordered a pair of these sunglasses https://www.johnlewis.com/ralph-ra5305u-womens-cats-eye-sunglasses/shiny-solid-beige/p110648670 which are a pretty good dupe for the Celine ones she wears in the show. And now I'm being shown lots of ads where I could have bought them cheaper 🙄

I'm starting to see the appeal of a tummy tuck and thigh lift. Don't think I'd ever be brave enough to go through with it but my goodness I wish I was. My left thigh is still like a melted candle and I definitely have extra skin on my tummy. Even my arms are a bit saggy! Is this it? Will it ever improve without surgery do we think?

Thought I looked good this morning, my dress gives a great illusion of a flat tum. But then loads of loose skin decided to display itself from my armpits to side boob. Scooped some into my bikini top (I’m using bikinis as bras while on ship, saving my one proper bra for port days) but bits have crept out.
oh well, battle scars.

ive a theory that lots of us are stalling after big loses as our bodies need to recalibrate a bit more. We need less calories as we’re a lower weight but our bodies don’t realise we are a lower weight and so cling on as if we were in starvation mode. Then works it out, gives a quick whoosh and gets stuck again. Needs time to catch up, just like not recognising what we actually look like in the mirror.

Gettingbysomehow · 29/03/2026 15:18

You need to keep in touvh with them regularly on the app and they are usually ok. Ive had to have time out for two orthopaedic surgeries and they have been very supportive. They probably will put you back on 2.5 though if its been 3 months. They are obliged to follow the guidelines or they could be shut down.
