Hey lovely ladies

Let’s carry on supporting each other.

OP posts:

Just dropping in to update a bit of a non update.

I’m coasting at 4 and a half stone off. I look quite nice - am in most of my old clothes but would quite like half a stone off to be under 11stone and get in to just one or more dresses I was very attached to years ago.

I’m in a stall and still on 15mg so I need to put a bit more effort in but it’s my second big stall so I assume the MJ will do its job shortly.

museumum · 16/04/2026 13:16

Hi. Not been in here for a while but could use a bit of support. I’m a month off MJ now after tapering down and suddenly the hunger has kicked in. I’m almost permanently starving this week. Any suggestions? I didn’t quite get to target but was feeling so much better and really struggling with the cost so I have no wiggle room to gain at all.

When I had starving food noise on a six week gap before Christmas I did pork shoulder steaks - 200C fan oven for 20 mins and ate them at non social meals. I skip breakfast anyway - through my whole life if I eat breakfast I am almost certainly heavier than I prefer so I know breakfast is a no go and coffee will do me fine.

Pork shoulder is cheap, tasty and rich. The fat makes you very full. Having a protein lunch or dinner and the other meal being nothing or soup or light has kept me lower than usual.

museumum · 17/04/2026 08:41

Thank you. Yes I think high protein and avoiding sugar and simple carbs is probably key.

Did you taper off MJ or cold turkey?

museumum · 17/04/2026 18:17

@India4 I was on 7.5 at max and I went down to 5 for a month then another 5 pen but taking half doses. I was fine for a month after stopping completely but now I’m HUNGRY.

May I ask how you did half doses?

India4 · 17/04/2026 19:35

Hello All,

can anyone advise how to “Half Dose” using “Clicks”, firstly on 7.5mg followed by 10mg.
I really need to cut the expense a little.

Many Thanks

Assuming you’re talking about getting to 3.75 from a 7.5 pen and a 5 dose from a 10mg one, it’s 30 clicks from each. And 30ml for each from the golden dose.

No advise really but I was off for 7 weeks (stopped semi cold turkey tapering down over 3 doses) my starving hunger came back bang on 14 days after stopping and lasted about 3 weeks. It did settle down and I didn’t gain the 2 weeks prior to restarting. My only tip would be to meal plan (3 meals and 2 snacks) keeps meals high protein and small but often. Not that I was able to not listen to that constant starvation noise but also had the intention to restart anyway (stopped due to personal circumstance at the time). Wish you all the luck and stay strong , remember it’s your brain and body adjusting and won’t last forever!

Hello All,

Yes, I’ve had to do that a few times. I think anything up to 4 days delay is fine, you either move back to your normal jab day after that or have a new jab day that’s 7 days after when you jab out of sync. If it’s beyond 4 days you just skip a week. I think after 14 days it’s counted as restarting but not sure about that.

A very unexciting update from me, still plodding very slowly to goal - 2.2lbs to 6 stone loss and I'd be happy with that but I did have goal goal of 9st, so 6lb more off.

Feel fab though in my size 12 jeans from a 20 and I have so much energy. Running 4 times a week and doing weights a couple of times and loving it all. Madness really but fabulous.

Well done all who have got to goal and are maintaining 😍

Wow, you have lost 6st…that’s amazing, to be into a size 12 is so good, well done you & good luck.

Flamethrowers · 22/04/2026 18:09

I'm still on 2.5 after one year one month. I lost ten kilos in the in the first four months and have basically been unintentionally maintaining ever since. I had a massive, shocking hair loss around two months after weight loss which has slowed down now finally and the baby hairs are coming back. it's not very pretty though. I have a high tolerance for food now. a day after the jab today I had an ice cream and a pancake which would have been UNTHINKABLE when I started. I can eat bread now. I'm too scared to stop in case I gain, not least because the benefits of improved snoring and reduced

joint pain continue. I don't feel particulary attractive or super fit but what I don't have is a constant nagging negative voice in my head telling me I weigh to much or don't look good and that's a a great relief. my BMI is 23.6-24 which isn't particulary low, but I just turned sixty and I think that it's meant to be better for older people to have a slightly higher bmi (we can bounce if we fall...)

Today I am over weight!

After starting with a BMI of 43.7, today's weigh in has given me a BMI of 29.9!!

That is fantastic well done!

The scales briefly flashed up at 9.13 this week and I got all excited but then they settled at 10 stone 😂

It's all feeling very real now, got out my summer clothes from last year and they are like tents! I'm consistently a 12-14 now which blows my mind coming from a 20-22.

I'm thinking I'd like my final weight to be 8-7 which I believe would be a BMI of around 24. My lowest ever weight as an adult was my early 20s so over 20 years ago which was 8-13 I think, maybe 8-10 so I'd like to get there and a little bit of a buffer before "calling maintenance". DH and my parents and in-laws all want me to stop losing weight now but my BMI is still 27 so plenty of spare weight.

I've lost just over 30% of my body weight 😱

I went up to 15mg last week for the final push.
