I hope it’s okay to start a new thread as we are getting dangerously close to the end of thread 1

My current stats are

planning on staying on 2.5mg for my next pen
SW: 13 stone 9.4lbs
Week 1: lost 11 lbs

Sorry to hear about Teddy @notcomfortable 😢

bookwormcrazy · 07/02/2026 20:28

I normally take my jab on Monday but I have taken it 2 days early and jabbed today. Mainly because i definitely need to move up to 5mg and also I want to move before the weekend as that’s my worst time. So I have gone early this week and might do another day next week. I hope the 5mg jab helps silence the food noise again.

SW - 15st 11lbs
CW - 14st 12lbs
GW - 10st 7lbs
Loss so far - 13lbs

AddUpToNothing · 07/02/2026 21:22

I’m so sorry to hear about Teddy @notcomfortable heartbreaking for you all.

AddUpToNothing · 07/02/2026 21:37

Jab 6 today and first dose of 5mg. Felt just as anxious as I did with my first 2.5 dose (which seems a little silly) but fingers crossed for little or no side effects.

Have continued tracking calories this week to keep an eye on things. We’ve had big birthday celebrations in the house this week so I have gone over some days.

SW: 16st 1lb
CW: 15st 4lb
GW: 10st 7lb
Loss so far: 11lb

Thinking of buying a walking pad to increase my steps. In summer I’ll aim for outside walks but when it’s freezing and wet I don’t have the motivation.

cautiouslyoptimistic3 · 07/02/2026 21:39

So very sorry @notcomfortable x

Evening all
A new joiner but have been reading along for ages
W4D2
SW: 14st 11lb
CW: 14st 2lb
GW: 11st 7lb
Loss so far: 9lb
I wondered if anyone had considered split dosing. I’ve watched a couple of YouTube videos on it. I’m doing ok at the moment but I do seem to have less suppression for the last couple of weeks and thought it might help to spread the load.
Also, I’m just finishing off my 2.5mg pen and have ordered 5mg for my next but I wondered about going up to 3.75mg by using the click method.
Anyone tried either of these?

I had my first dose of 5mg early on Friday morning and also felt a little anxious but I’ve had no side effects so far, so hopefully it’ll be the same for you.

I’m loving my walking pad, I go on it while watching TV every evening and I’ve used it every day since getting it. I don’t drive so I do walk everywhere in the day too, but this gets my steps up even more when I’d usually be sitting down.

Hi @NewPantsforaNewYear - welcome!

Another kg off this morning which doesn't surprise me as I haven't had the stomach to eat in the past 24 hours
I have a treadmill and it is a god send, I can get an extra run on it without feeling self conscious

Nice to have newcomers still rolling in!

I’ve got my fifth dose to take tomorrow from the 2.5mg pen, then I have the 5mg ready for the following week. I was planning on using it for a lower dose like you say. I’ve found a chart online that says how many clicks for so much dosage from each pen. I’ll see how I feel at the end of next week. I think I’ve found this week that food thoughts have crept back a bit, but in a way I don’t want this completely shut off because I want to feel that some of the effort is down to me as I don’t want to be taking MJ long term, so need to be able to maintain without it.

I’ll hop over to the new thread now to mark my place!

Before I do, so sorry for your loss. I hope you’re all holding up at home - it’s a real hearbreaker to lose a pet so suddenly

HollywoodTease · 09/02/2026 02:03

So sorry about Teddy @notcomfortable@notcomfortable

I know how much losing a pet hurts xx

YouBelongWithMe · 09/02/2026 08:16

@notcomfortable so sorry to hear about Teddy. Can't even imagine the devastation. Be kind to yourself and take it easy.

JHound · 09/02/2026 13:05

Week 3 of 2.5mg and first week with weight loss (2.6 lbs). But noticed that cravings are stronger this week.

@CatNoBag
Thanks for replying to me here too 😀
it sounds as if we’re of a similar mindset

Had to go to America with work
Christ almighty it was hard trying to eat clean and asking for kids portions everywhere I went but I managed and kept calorie counter open all the time … but 22 days ago I started my MJ journey and to say it’s been a life saver is an understatement

There’s a new thread - probably somewhere near the top on the WLI section - title refers to a Kitchenaid 😁

MJstarterbefore40 · 23/02/2026 12:17

Weight loss has loads this month so I've bitten the bullet and ordered the 5mg. Just hoping there's no side effects.

Octagoneaway · 23/02/2026 13:48

I’ve had 2 weeks of quite chaotic eating. Quite a bit of drinking and then I went on holiday. Food on holiday was superb and the days were busy, so I think I’ve managed to maintain my weight over the whole period, and am now maybe half a kg down already. So today is back to normal: strength training this morning and a high protein brunch.

I’ve ordered another 5mg pen as it seems manageable and I can still eat regularly.
