I had a moment earlier where I really didn’t recognise my reflection in the mirror at the gym!! Will post progress pics later but even though I’m still nearly 2 stone from my ultimate goal and 0.5 stone away from my mid goal I’m still amazed I’ve done so well!! 2.5 stone gone in a year (which for me is great!) and nearly two dress sizes down!! I’ve loved having all you ladies cheering me on in the background (especially when I was extremely stressed with DHs accident and operation and then poorly DC which spread to us all!) and just wanted to say thank you to you all. I’m entirely sure I could not have done it without you even though I don’t post often I’m always lurking on the thread and cheering you on silently

HeidiLite · 13/01/2026 16:29

you're jacked, @cloudjumper ! amazing arms.

Thanks! Although I think it’s because I’m holding a 30 kg dumbbell that my arms look so muscular 😂 I still have really annoying bingo wings at the back of my arms (despite all the tricep exercises) 🤷🏼‍♀️

HeidiLite · 14/01/2026 13:19

I have to stop shopping now. I have enough tiny gym tops to last me a good few years. But it's just so tempting after all the time in slouchy t-shirts to hide the rolls..

This is a lovely thread. I wasn’t moaning, hopefully didn’t look like si was. I’m far slimmer than I ever thought I’d be. I’m just slow and put on weight if I dare go on holiday or eat mince pies. Still 3kbs over pre Christmas weight too @26inprogress ps I ordered the Tatcha but decided to avoid the one beauty thread, I don’t like all the rules about who can post what. I was quite irritated !!!!

Loving seeing the pics and hearing about all progress, even the snails are svelte.

@DGmaintaining babybel excellent protein snack.
@Zempy hope you’re not as tired today.

Same here HeidiLite. I managed to get a bit of a Vinted addiction last year after never really using it before and purchased some fabulous things but it required me booting dh out of our shared dressing room as I had no space to properly organise things 😂 It did coincide with 2nd eldest moving into his own place though so dh now has his own dressing room in his old room. I don’t really buy stuff in the winter though as I’m bundled up in my huge parka/hat gloves etc every time I go out as I feel the cold badly so I think what the point?! But come spring I’m sure il start shopping again and we’re going to NYC at Easter so I’m saving to have a mini spree over there.

I do need to be careful not to gain any more weight now as some of my size 8-10’s are getting a little tight after Christmas (and the 6 week break I had)

Slightly worried that I’m on 2nd week of 2.5mg and not feeling any suppression 🤔 it started working straight away last year. But maybe bc my body is more used to it il have to move up a dose before it takes effect?

Please God don’t let me have become immune to MJ 🙏 😂

JoanCollinsDiva · 14/01/2026 18:05

Who did 26inprogress used to be? I need to know!

BlueLimes · 14/01/2026 18:05

I’m interested in the titration - and how different people felt going from 15 to 12.5 etc

JoanCollinsDiva · 14/01/2026 18:11

I only went up to 7.5mg but I did definitely feel an increase in appetite going from that to 5mg. 5mg was actually my sweet spot come to think of it as I found I was just maintaining well for quite a while. It’s only bc of this break I took (bc I couldn’t bear the thought of not scoffing all that lovely Christmas nosh) that I’ve had to start again on 2.5mg.

I’m doing half doses from a 5mg pen to save some money (I told Oushk I was doing this on my last consultation and she was fine with it).

Are you thinking of titrating down soon BlueLimes?

BlueLimes · 14/01/2026 18:19

@JoanCollinsDiva I’ve been on 15mg since about June - my weights a bit stuck with 7lbs to go but I don’t get lots of suppression, never lost the snacking ability - I do eat less though and feel satiated sooner. As I’m not really losing since August and was always slow. I feel like I’m wasting money a bit - ideally I’d like to take 7.5 and maintain there for a while.
I should get to goal first though maybe.
my weight is all around my middle- otherwise I’d be happy with where I am now.

Sorry that was long !!

As someone who came back down to 2.5mg from 5mg. I definitely didn’t have that same initial effect. I lost a lot of the positive effects from that first month of 2.5mg eg strong suppression, ability to ignore snack/treats, zero procrastination. I’m pleased to not have strong suppression. I can still ignore treats, but requires a conscious decision. Procrastination has returned. This may be more to do with work ramping up and being mentally overwhelmed, but that huge energy boost I had at the beginning of my WLI journey may have disappeared with all that ‘excess energy’ I’m now no longer storing on my thighs and hips.

It’s 2025istheyearI @JoanCollinsDiva, sorry I’ve only changed my name finally on this thread 😂.
@BlueLimesso did I! I saw that this morning, omg, I don’t like rules either and those ones v unnecessary!

HeidiLite · 14/01/2026 19:43

yes I'm on 2.5 as well and certainly not the same supression I had last year when I first started. I'm good with that, can now enjoy food but also eat reasonably.

what thread with rules?

BlueLimes · 14/01/2026 19:49

oh Heidi it was so stupid but I’m stubborn and don’t like pettiness, so now won’t go back on a thread I’ve been part of for years.
I posted a link to a beauty set but was told off as people are trying to use things up, a bit later people were encouraged to post what they’d purchased which irritated me. You’d think people would stop behaving like this well women not people, when they’re 15.

Silly really but it felt off and cliquey.

@26inprogress im really looking forward to getting the Tatcha 😊

BlueLimes · 14/01/2026 19:52

I think I’m going to do 15mg next week, then reduce to 12.5mg.

RockyisMYRhino · 14/01/2026 20:01

As promised progress pics here. Not sure you can really tell as I didn’t do a side view but I’m definitely smaller!! Before is in the purple bra top and current is the green one.

JoanCollinsDiva · 14/01/2026 20:21

Thanks HeidiLite and DGmaintaining yes, I see what you mean and good to know it’s not just me. I think it’s a bit of an initial panic of not having that super suppressed feeling any more where I just didn’t think about food. But that wasn’t really good either and I did lose too much weight initially.

I have just eaten 3 bags of crisps one after the other though 🙊 I think I will definitely have to go back up to 5mg!

It’s 2025istheyearI sorry I’ve only changed my name finally on this thread 😂.

Oh hello you! I might change my name on the next one to HalfTheDiva as per HeidiLite suggestion. But TwoThirdsTheDiva would be more accurate 😂

That would annoy me too BlueLimes - I hate when people take it upon themselves to police threads, you can always tell who the school prefects were 😂 Good luck with titrating down - it’s all trial and error isn’t it!

RockyisMYRhino
Wow - you can definitely see the difference. Well done!

@MummyInTheNecropolis just popping back to say super quickly that I feel bad if I made you feel bad for making anyone feel bad!!!!! 100% not you, you are a total inspiration.

its those other evil witches……..

(for the avoidance of doubt that is a JOKE).

its 100% a me thing and linked to pressure I put on myself and feeling a bit out of control in other areas too.

right, off I pop again.

Polkadotdash · 14/01/2026 22:47

@BlueLimes are you one to ask about skincare regimes? My skin is ridiculously dry at the moment. Probably due to the weather but all my life I have had greasy skin and now this. I don’t know how to look after it. I saw my face on a Teams call today and it was so dry and wrinkly. Horrific. What do I need to fix it? Hyaluronic acid?

Aimingforearlierbedtimes · 15/01/2026 00:58

One year today, starting weight 80kg, now 58kg (57 on a good day). Realised I had a (pretty bad) swimsuit photo so thought I'd try another for comparison. Who knew this would be a Photoshop as well as a weight loss journey (the first photo was in a group)
I do not want to be the person on the left again.

This group is amazing, I love you all xxx
