Hi everyone, starting a second thread as the other one is almost full. We made it through month one, now here’s to a happy, healthy and lighter 2026!

@SexyFrenchDepression Yes think I may order a couple of pens now, to be honest don’t want more than that anyway but might as well get the ones with the dose in.

Frustrating day today, no drop on the scales despite being really good recently. I have found that I am regularly stalling the. Having a mini woosh so I know I just need to stick with it but finding it hard when I’m also shattered from kids not sleeping. Had the kind of day today where pre MJ I would have completely ditched the diet, as it is I’ve eaten crap but at least not gone overboard with calories.

Well the 5mg is definitely working, even though I took it in error, have lost over 2lb already this week so 3 stone and 0.7lb down, 1.3 to get to 9 stone, I either need to lose more or i need to serious tone up as belly still a bit wobbly!

Springbaby2023 · 12/03/2026 21:35

@SexyFrenchDepression Well done you, that’s amazing! You must be a super, super responder.

OP posts:
diggitydoo · 12/03/2026 21:49

I’ve been in a stall for three weeks now and thoroughly fed up as not doing anything different. If anything I’ve increased the amount of excersize I do. Think I need to go up a dose onto 7.5

SexyFrenchDepression · 12/03/2026 21:58

@Springbaby2023 thank you, I had my first proper night out Sat so drunk quite a bit and ate cheese and savoury stuff so all very carby, then had a roast dinner in a restaurant the following day! I was super focused the rest of the week but probably had more cals at weekend. It will probably all catch up with me next week to be fair.

I have no idea why I have responded so well, I have been regularly monitoring my TDEE but my appetite is suppressed so its easy. If I fancy a biscuit I can now happily have 1 or 2 rather than half a pack!! Everyone has lost a lot of weight on this thread though.

And like you have said, I think bad days now are nothing like they used to be! I definitely havent fallen off the wagon big time so far.

What sort of deficit have your calories been in? Is it more the appetite suppression that is not so good? I am sure you'll have a whoosh soon though, it seems to work that way!

user593 · 13/03/2026 06:22

Well I’ve had my smallest loss this week, 1.75lbs/ 0.8kg, I think possibly since I started MJ, but I’ve hit two important milestones. I post here in st and lbs normally but I actually weigh and record in kg, and today I’m 119.7kg (under 120kg, yay!) and I have 49.7kg to go (under 50g, yay!). My total loss is now 27.9kg or 4st 5.5lbs.

I do think I’ve eaten more than usual this week so I think the lower loss is just one of those things and I’m not going to beat myself
up about it!

user593 · 13/03/2026 06:57

That should say I don’t think I’ve eaten more than usual this week, not that I do!

Springbaby2023 · 13/03/2026 07:32

Well after moaning yesterday about a stall, the scales showed a 2lb loss today which would put me at a two stone total loss finally! (Although I won’t officially count it until that’s my average for the week).

I looked back and I’ve basically consistently tracking at half a stone a month, which doesn’t sound bad on paper, just feels frustrating at times.

@user593 You’ve done so well, that’s amazing! Bound to be some weeks with lower losses.

@diggitydoo if you’re exercising more, sometimes you retain water due to muscle damage before it repairs/grows as part of gaining strength from exercise.

Do you do measurements too? Or are you clothes feeling looser?

Sending whoosh vibes your way.

I agree everyone on the thread is doing amazingly. I also haven’t had a proper fall off the wagon. I don’t think I even could tbh. Another reason to love MJ.

I’m down 33lb as of this morning. My total goal loss is 78 so I’m almost halfway there, another half stone to go. I think it will naturally take longer than another four months to get to goal though, as I’m assuming the rate of loss has got to slow down.

SexyFrenchDepression · 13/03/2026 09:39

All brilliant losses! Over 4 stone is just incredible though, a stone a month, its just life changing but like you say @Springbaby2023 half a stone a month is a great loss, it feels like if someone said in 4 months time you'd be 2 stone lighter you would be so happy!

I am loving my little shotsy graph, I didnt log my proper starting weight as lost 2lb whilst waiting for jab to arrive so this shows 2lb less but I love the stats!

On route to the Midlands from the South Coast today to accompany my kids to a gig, as they cant check in a hotel yet, looking forward to the fabulous shopping centre compared to our rubbish one at home, going to get some new leggings, a couple of fitted but casual tops and maybe a coat. Have brought an extra bag to fill up 😂

Ooh my shotsy graph is under review 😂

BlueMum16 · 13/03/2026 17:23

Starting weight 15 stone 10 (size 18)
Target weight maybe 11 stone (size 12)
Current weight 14 stone 3lbs

I'm one of the few here on WeGovy, I'm doing ok I tried to increase my dose slightly two weeks ago and felt queasy all weekend so last Friday went back to previous dose and ok again. Also got a patch of sore skin, no lumps bumps or bruises but just hurts to touch particularly if I wear jeans. Google suggested it could be a very rare side effect - lucky me!

Got a busy few weeks with mothers day and family birthdays but will keep trying to focus. Still not found time to exercise, when it's a nice day I try a walk at lunch time but not even managing one a week yet.

I've been listening to a podcast on BBS sounds called the hunger game. Talks about there's evidence to show MJ and Wegovy can help people cut back on smoking and drinking alcohol (as a side effect) and I've found this with my wine. Pre jabs I could drink a full bottle of wine on a Saturday or Sunday night. Now one bottle lasts both nights with a glass left for Monday too.

Still no one is commenting and except for my jeans which I dropped a size I can't really tell yet in my clothes. Looking back on my Fitbit though this is my lightest since summer 2022 when I turned 50.

Keep going everyone and good luck.

SexyFrenchDepression · 13/03/2026 18:27

NSV today, I had a little shopping trip and bought 2 x pairs of size 8 jeans and spme size 8 Lulumon leggings (I'm liking the fact they are a size 4 as they're in US sizes)

I know its not like an old days 8 but I thought i was probably a 10-12. I dont think I'd be a bog standard 8 in everything, probably a 10 at least but its a nice feeling today.

A bit disappointed i didnt find any tops but nothing really stood out to me at all. I have stopped for food and will probably give up now and order a load online from next to try on.

SexyFrenchDepression · 13/03/2026 18:29

@BlueMum16 I definitely have found it has dramatically cut back my drinking, in fact I'm not interested at all!

Springbaby2023 · 13/03/2026 20:23

@BlueMum16 I’m on MJ but have had a skin reaction. For a few weeks it was really bad but everything on the Internet (and my supplier) said it was normal and after a few jabs it passed. Sounds like you’re doing really well, it is a bit demotivating when other people aren’t noticing and the clothes size doesn’t shift (I’ve tried on a whole load today hoping they’d fit and they don’t!) BUT we have to think about what positive effects are taking place inside, it’s about so much more than appearance.

That graph is amazing!! Must be so motivating to see it displayed like that. Enjoy your shopping trip and the gig.

I found as soon as I hit 2 stone off people notice, I coild notice before but no one else did. I think its quite similar when there have been threads on here about it.

Yes I love it, I have my own spreadsheet/graph also on excel and it tracks against a 2lb a week loss and I can see the weekly losses.

Thanks, shopping was good, nice to try stuff on and get the right size. I am sat in apartment on my own, only the kids have gone to the gig. Sat under a duvet watching tv, its lush!!

SexyFrenchDepression · 13/03/2026 20:41

Obv that should say lululemon, random autocorrect there 😂

Hi everyone 👋
I started at the beginning of November, and have a LOT of weight to lose. So far I am down 1st 6lb, which doesn't seem a lot compared to how much it all costs! Everyone else I have spoken to seems to have had quicker losses. I know it is better to lose slowly and steady, I just feel a little frustrated. I have also stayed with the same company, Chequp. Do people tend to swap companies to gain discounts?

I'm on 7.5mg, and going to increase to 10mg from today. Anyone else finding it slow?

TaffyTabby · 14/03/2026 13:37

Yes I think there’s all different rates of loss on the threads here.

I have switched every time to try to save £

I think switching becomes harder when you’re in a lower BMI

I have seen so much variation in the losses from reading posts on this board. I did start off (for about a week!) calorie counting but stopped as I really didn’t need to. If my losses were slower than hoped I think that would be my next step.

I have moved suppliers each time for the discounts. I also now buy a higher dose pen and half the amounts as that is cheaper too.

I swap every month to save money, the discounts have been less recently though. A few pharmacies have loyalty schemes such as lotus and they have regular reasonable prices.

I have ensured I have recalculate my calorie deficit every half stone roughly just to make sure I am getting it right. I was shocked at how the TDEE changed so much TBH.

SexyFrenchDepression · 14/03/2026 15:44

I should have added I also do half doses and make the pens last longer, also I was prescribed at under BMI 22 and that wasnt as maintenance, if you look on monj website they give all the maintenance provider info and their BMI limits.
