@EducatingRosemary thats an amazing loss! Congratulations!!

I went up to 3.75mg this week but was considering just doing 2.5 closer together instead, I'll see how it goes and may switch to that. I'm not keen to go up further as still struggling to eat enough calories on the low doses so I'm thinking that there is no point if I'm not hungry and eating in a calorie deficit.

Thank you. We sre all doing great. What a difference a few months can make - it’s incredible!

Out of interest, what made you go up to 3.75 if you are losing and not hungry at the lower dose? I’m not calorie counting but i certainly wouldn’t struggle to eat enough calories now!

It really is, I feel like a different person!!

I had quite a few meals out last week, managed to lose still but was feeling bloated and sluggish so thought a boost would be good on the higher dose but TBH I am not really sure why I bothered as I was eating in a deficit anyway, i was hungrier towards the end of the week though so that was the only thing. I was only having 900-1000 cals anyway when I was logging them, I need to start doing that again as I know I'm not eating enough.

Springbaby2023 · 20/02/2026 03:43

@tobee No to be honest I’ve been really slack with ordering my next pen, I need to do it asap as I only have one dose left in this one so was going to contact them today, but equally may switch suppliers.

@Fifiellz That is an incredible weight loss in such a short time! Well done! I’m so amazed how well this injection is working by for some people.

I love reading all your updates!

I have started losing again & I'm now 2 stone, 3lbs down - I'm thrilled & heading back towards a healthy BMI.

I really want to hit 9 stone by May - so I still have 17lbs to lose by then, but I feel like I can get close.

PatheticDistraction · 20/02/2026 08:30

One thing I have noticed, aside from
one comment, not many people seem to have noticed my weightloss, and I can't really see it either - I wonder if it's because I had become so accustomed to my bigger size - I find the photos I submitted quite shocking to be honest.

Maybe it will become more noticeable from now on.

Alongside the injections - I'm really trying to give myself a glow up, investing time in my skin & hair, 10k steps a day & I'm going to save for some tweakments too.

I'm determined to reclaim my confidence

user593 · 20/02/2026 08:57

Well do everyone! My weight loss is still really sluggish and I can see my average weekly loss on my app getting worse and worse and my date to target getting further and further away 🙈 but I’ve now lost 3st 11lbs in 12.5 weeks so I’m trying to focus on the bigger picture (and so close to 4st!). Hopefully it ticks back up again soon. I should definitely be drinking more water, I know that would help, but I’ve always struggled with drinking water.

I think it depends on how much people have to lose as to when people notice. There was a thread about this before and most people said after 2 stone which roughly relates to a dress stone. Some of the ladies who started at a very high weight said it was more for them. 2 stone for me took me well within a healthy weight (I'm short so not very much extra weight makes me overweight) my colleague has lost over 4 stone but my weightloss is definitely more noticeable, she is still in the obese category. She looks amazing, and so healthy already though!

Edited

I have gone really slack on the water lately, its been so cold I havent wanted to drink as much! Nearly 4 stone is so good though, it is bound to slow down!

TaffyTabby · 20/02/2026 13:23

Almost 4 stone is bloody amazing! Well done you!

It’s always going to slow down as you get smaller but remember smaller losses show more on smaller bodies, it’s all relevant.

I like that toilet paper analogy people use. As you use the roll, it only starts to look like you’re running out when you get right toward the end but at that point every layer is super obvious. Hope I explained that well ha

I did my height and weight on the machine at the GP today and it said I was 3-4cm taller than I thought I was ?!? Going to try to get someone to measure me at work to triple check. If I am, it puts my BMI at 30.6, so close to being out of the obese category!

I started at 12 stone 8 & I'm 5ft 2 - so I really hoped a 2 stone loss would show - but maybe you're right!

I know I'll feel a lot more confident when the next stone is gone, that'll take me into my happy place weight wise.

It quite possibly does show but some people are too scared to say anything and some people don't notice anything at all!

TaffyTabby · 20/02/2026 19:15

Yes I think people are more cautious about commenting on other people’s bodies now a days so maybe won’t be saying something even if they do notice!

user593 · 20/02/2026 20:18

I think my weight loss is noticeable but the only person who’s commented on it is my beautician. I think people worry about offending woman, whereas my partner who has lost a bit less than me gets loads of comments! To be fair though he had a lot less to lose than me.

EducatingRosemary · 20/02/2026 22:11

I agree that people are far less inclined to comment on weight (including weight loss) these days. It’s just not the done thing to seemingly tell someone they look better because they’ve changed weight. New dress, change of hair colour/style etc is considered ok but not weight.
We tell children not to comment negatively on something people can’t immediately change (big nose, birthmark, visible physical disability etc) and I think weight has fallen into that now.

RoundandSad · 19/02/2026 13:13

@Springbaby2023 how are you feeling?

I had a break and then took a microdose. 1.25

And within a day all puffy and swollen and exhausted - I get a lot of that on this medication but with even half of therapeutic dose!

I know I've got to throw it out it's clearly very bad for me personally

I don't know why I'm struggling

I think it's partly because there are just no other stories about this happening to people - honestly at this point I'm wondering if some of the stories get suppressed

If I write down my list of side-effects, it's huge

Also, I had a new one on the dose two weeks ago, I thought I had pins and needles I thought maybe I've been sitting funny

Turns out it's an actual condition called allodynia and lots of users report it and just seem to be putting up with it

I was just starting to feel perfectly healthy again and I stupidly took some what is wrong with me?

anyway, I feel quite embarrassed about it, but I'm just posting this in case it helps anyone else. It's turned into a kind of weird obsession taking this stuff. And I've never in my life been so obsessed with food even though I just have to constantly eat the same
Because I'm so worried about stomach upset

Wish I'd never gone near it

anyway, it's Lent now so I'm going to focus on that. It seems like a good opportunity to help focus with eating less

i'm just putting this out there in case it helps anyone I did think about starting a separate thread for people who came off it but really I just need to stop thinking about it and move forward

I tried it. It was bad for me. That's the end

Good luck with the rest of your weight loss journey and sorry this didn’t work out for you.
I’m back at a healthy BMI but it does still seem to have a hold on me and wonder if I should lose more. But I don’t feel great on it either and have started wondering if I should continue or not.

BlueMum16 · 21/02/2026 12:10

Starting weight 15 stone 10 (size 18)
Target weight maybe 11 stone (size 12)
Current weight 14 stone 7.4lbs

I'm still here lurking and enjoying reading your updates.

I'm still going slow. I'm using Wegovy and taking it easy and making jabs last. Just had dose 6 out of my latest pen (think was only my second) and ordered another. This one I think I'll do over 5 weeks so slightly higher dose.

I'm averaging 1lb a week which I'm now ok with. I don't want baggy, saggy skin and in my 50s don't need to look any older 🤣

My meals have shrunk. Breakfast as normal but now about 9-10am. Houmous and crackers for lunch and then meat/veg for tea. Drink lots of water anyway and still having a glass of wine most nights (but have massively reduced).

No real side affects. Birthday in a few weeks and I'd love to have another half stone by then..as the weather is improving I'm want to add in some daily walks which might help.

SexyFrenchDepression · 21/02/2026 14:05

Well done @BlueMum16 sounds like its going really well for you.

SexyFrenchDepression · 21/02/2026 14:11

I had my lowest loss this week of 0.75lbs however have been flat out on sofa with a bad back!

Its getting hard now as just under BMI 23, my maintenance calories are only about 1400 so to eat in a significant deficit is really tough, I could easily manage on less than 1000 but its not recommended so I need to up my movement now so I can eat 1000-1200 cals and still lose. ChatGPT recommends 1200 cals based on my height, age, weight and movement equivalent of 7-10k steps plus 3 weights sessions. Hopefully ny back has healed enough to do that. My fibre intake has been crap again so need to sort that.

I am not too bothered if I only lost .75lbs a week from now on as I am not that hungry so it taking longer is fine but I would like to buy some new clothes haha, plus also want to lose 3 or 4lb more than my target to give a buffer.

7.5lb to go, have lost 2stone 9 lb in total since 1st November.

Hi, me again

Could somebody who's good at the graph stuff help me out, please

I thought I was feeling better yesterday, but today I'm not

It might just be coincidence

I'm wondering how long it will be for this all to be out of my system

It was basically roughly on 2.5 mg for three months

I tried one higher dose, maybe two but ended up sticking at 2.5

My provider just said it will take about 30 days to be fully gone

Really, I'm wondering when I'll start to feel normal again

tobee · 22/02/2026 16:58

Hope you’re bad back gets better soon @SexyFrenchDepression! How miserable for you.

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 22/02/2026 17:02

@RoundandSad the best way to view your levels would be to plot the jabs you have taken in an app like Shotsy…

you log each one by date/time and strength, then use the calendar function to see daily levels (free version) but basically it will take around 5 weeks after the last jab to see levels become very low.

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 22/02/2026 17:04

Just to add, I just looked at Shotsy where I gave future jabs planned as well as those taken, and by going to 5 weeks after the last planned jab, levels drop to zero.
