Has anyone else noticed a change in the Shotsy app? On the results tab, it used to show % to goal progress, but that has now changed to show your current weight. I'm unsure if it's something I've done, or the app has changed. I'm a bit peeved, I was enjoying watching the % increase every week

Do you mean the last box at the bottom that has a little flag? If so tap on it and it will open a remaining to goal info and you can click the option at the bottom to show progress to goal.

If not I have no idea!!

Billybingbong · 02/10/2025 14:49

No, it's the box above that. My screenshot from a few weeks ago shows it used to say % to goal progress, and it's now changed to current weight. 1st world problems I know, but it's niggling me 😊

Just saw what you have instead, I hope they don't change mine! I like shotsy as the weight isn't so obvious like it is on other apps.

Billybingbong · 02/10/2025 14:54

This is how it looks now, how annoying 😡

Hi @Autumnflowers2 no, I’d only eaten a banana and a chicken sandwich before I started feeling ill. I’m feeling slightly better today and thankfully managed to keep fluids down and a slice of dry toast. So 🤞 it’s going to pass soon. Thanks for your reply 😄

Fffreeeeezing · 02/10/2025 15:21

Mine looks slightly different........

Maybe it wasn't MJ related and you just have a bug? We all rush to blame the jabs but law of averages says we'll probably get unrelated illnesses as well as side effects!

Iwouldratherbesinging · 02/10/2025 17:54

Amazing @Lds1 🎉👏🍾 that’s epic!
Welcome to the nhs bmi chart @GnomeDePlume now you can start obsessing over the colours 😂
@Billybingbong just checked my shotsy app and my interim ‘to goal’ says how much weight left to lose but has % beside it in brackets (in tiny writing though) oh, just seen the thread updates! Not sure why mines different, I use the free version if that makes any difference, no option to change anything in the settings…

@Billybingbong Found it! Well @Fffreeeeezing found it first, click on the ‘progress’ box and you can change it there with the toggle.

There is a shotsy update in my apps I expect when it runs mine will change too 😔

Billybingbong · 02/10/2025 18:31

Thanks ladies. So ive just checked my settings, and it looks like there was an app update yesterday. Very annoying, but at least I know I'm not going mad!

Just to update on my earlier post today where I complained I was struggling due to the scales not changing for around 6 weeks.. I applied the "just" method to myself.

I said "just" get changed into your gym clothes.
Just sit and watch the YouTube workout, you don't have to do anything.
Just give this one song a go...
Before I knew it, I did a 40 min workout.

It definitely wasn't my best workout but I felt a mindset shift, and I ate what I planned to eat today. Even though I feel deflated, I tried not to have a self sabotage day today. I'm hoping I have a better frame of mind tomorrow because I don't think I can push through two days in a row 😑😬

Weigh in and jab day.

SW 137kg BMI 53.5
CW 101.9kg BMI 39.8
GW 63kg BMI 24.6

16 stone 1lb in old money, 5 stone 7lbs down. I am now on the chart on the NHS BMI calculator.

Around Christmas it does really help that I know I have to keep clear of the sweets, not because of weightloss but because I am diabetic. Finally I have control of my diabetes. I dont want to lose that control because I do feel so much better. Skin infections, UTIs, skin tags are all significantly reduced and I dont want to lose this.

It also helps that I am not a big chocolate eater and I dont like Ferrero Rocher (chocolate and nuts - why?).

On the chart is the best milestone so far I reckon. I found it quite overwhelming. And the point people have started commenting A LOT. Big congratulations!

Can’t agree about nuts and chocolate though 😂

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · 02/10/2025 23:05

Oh I agree. It felt such a big thing to me to be On The Chart. Less of that "beyond help" feeling. Well done @GnomeDePlume . I do love nuts and chocolate though. Its fruut flavoured chocolate that is Truly wrong. Chocolate orange, strawberry centres etc...

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · 02/10/2025 23:06

@mamabeeboo I love the "just" examples you have there ❤️

TragicMuse · 03/10/2025 07:45

Ordering again from Medino and it’s all the photos and proof because it’s more than 4 weeks since my order. Again.

And it’s all because I got spooked and they were entirely shit at communication. And didn’t have any in when I wanted to order.

I’m not upset or angry, it’s just a bit tiresome.

FFS.

GnomeDePlume · 03/10/2025 08:33

I guess I am on my own on the wrongness of chocolate and nuts!

This weekend I'm going to be starting on making a new shirt. I'm excited because I will be using a new pattern. For the last years I have been using a pattern which was specifically drafted for a plus size figure. Now I am finding it not just too big but the wrong shape.

Being 'on the chart' does feel different. Being off the chart did feel like I was beyond the pale.

Billybingbong · 03/10/2025 08:50

Week 26, and 1lb off, total 4st 7lb.

SW 22st 8lb
CW 18st 1lb
GW 11st 4lb

Today is my six month monjiversary. I can't believe how quick it has gone, and how different I am now in such a short time, both mentally and physically. I'm 4 1/2st down, lost 20% of my body weight, 11" off my waist, 10" off my hips, down 12 bmi points, etc etc. My physical and mental health has massively improved, literally the list is endless. And while I'm feeling brave, here's a couple of pictures. The before picture is the one I used to order my first pen, the second one taken just now. I've still got a long way to go, but its all heading in the right direction

SilenceInside · 03/10/2025 09:42

Week 64 weigh in.

SW: 139kg (21st 12 lbs)
CW: 75.4kg (11st 12lbs), was 75.5kg (11st 12lbs)
GW: 73kg (11st 7lbs) sixth interim goal

Current pen: 10mg, 21 weeks on this dose.

I lost a grand total of 0.1kg this week, which I will consider as essentially staying the same. I was expecting it really, as it was period week and I haven't been very focussed on diet/exercise as a result. Onwards and downwards though as always.

Kay2000 · 03/10/2025 10:19

I’m still not in the BMI chart 😭 and I’m shrinking due to my spine degeneration too which hasn’t helped (I was 5ft4, now 5ft3). I looked yesterday and it’s 44, down from 54.6. I’ve gone from 22st to 17,11 and I’m target 17,7 by the 1st Nov and 17 by end of year which will be 5 stones off since I started in January. My goal is another 5 off next year. When I started losing 10 stone seemed impossible but now I’m actually thinking I can get there. It’s a slow process but I’m still finding my food tastes are changing and I’m being more active, as much as my pain allows. When I get out the pool instead of sitting to recover I just dry myself and get dressed. I’m “popping upstairs” for something rather than it being a one time a day achievement to get up to bed ☺️. All those little things are very motivating. I went out for lunch with my hubby this week. He had his usual steak pudding and chips and I decided on a seafood platter, and I really enjoyed it. That wouldn’t have happened before MJ, I’d have felt like I hadn’t eaten enough - and I couldn’t manage it all! Yet I’m only losing 1lb a week on average, sometimes less, so anyone losing slowly don’t be disheartened, you’re not alone.

Christmas - I’m looking forward to a Christmas where I’m not promising myself I’ll diet in January, feeling annoyed at myself at my lack of self control. I think I must still hold the record at WW for the most weight gained in a two week break (10lbs), and I thought I’d been trying to be good 🤣. I think I could have a chocolate advent calendar and not eat them all in the first 2 days, but I have a stationery advent calendar coming, calorie free!

My hubby is gaining weight as I’m losing it unfortunately, and he has an obsession with M&S mince pies, so I’ve told him none until November and if he insists on buying them, he can keep them in his office until December. I’m good but not that good, I think I could limit myself to one a day but that would probably stop me losing weight. He’s supportive of me losing weight but not willing to make changes himself.

FattyBumBumNoMore · 03/10/2025 10:23

Weigh day for me today - 14st 1.4lb (and a total loss of 4st 2.8lb all on 2.5mg which I'm actually bloody proud of!)

I am now officially 'only' Obese Class I. Literally fading away 😂

Well done all of us losers whether it's early days or years in!!

PearlsPearl · 03/10/2025 10:25

Looking great @Billybingbong what a change!!

@mamabeeboo 'just' is so clever! I am going to take a leaf out of your book and just get into my gym clothes today.
