Can't believe we've got to 7 threads, but all are welcome!

We're nearly at the end of thread seven.

Here's a link to thread eight, because this always fills up very quickly.

But let's fill this one up to the end anyway.

NSV for me today - I put on a pair of straight leg jeans size 14, which I got from Vinted last month. I've worn them twice.

They're slightly too big now.

Thanks for the new thread @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne and a great NSV too!

TragicMuse · 15/09/2025 17:22

That’s a brilliant NSV!

TragicMuse · 15/09/2025 17:23

I bought some linen trousers in the summer. Never wore them and they’re now too big! I shall put them on Vinted. BNWT!!

Doggymummar · 15/09/2025 18:41

I had that happen a couple of times, too, it's annoying isn't it but also testament to how well you are doing 😄 😜

@TragicMuse I am trying to wear everything that currently fits me so that I don’t miss out on wearing some things. I have a skirt that I’ve kept for probably about 15 years or more, it’s a size 16 and I haven’t worn it for about 14 years. I suddenly realised that I need to wear it now, otherwise I’ll drop another size and miss the chance. I kept it because I love it, so I really need to actually put it on! As it’s “vintage” the size 16 is probably more like a 14 in today’s sizes, so it won’t fall down for a while, I hope!

Yes, my storage-bag trawling is producing lots of things I love and want to wear! I am planning to do that before I outgrow them again!!

Something I am noticing is that I no longer have a sense of 'fitted' vs 'tight'. Essentially if I can feel a garment I assume it is too tight.

If you want to try and get into swimming then I'd suggest firstly aim for a certain amount of time rather than number of lengths that way your mind can wander and you aren't constantly thinking about the fact that you are swimming. Secondly you can get waterproof headphones to use whilst swimming. For me, music makes exercise so much more enjoyable. The headphones I have sit on your cheekbones and vibrate so dont sit inside your ear.

Wow @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne I love seeing your posts about life the other end of this journey! You're whizzing through the sizes!

@JustAnotherSod Im in awe. That's an incredible weightloss at a fantastic pace. I initially assumed you'd gone up each month too - and it's all on 5mg!!! I've lost 6stone but still 5 to go and on 10mg and hoping to get there without increasing as I can't afford the 10as it is!
