Wondering if you guys can help me. I jag on a Wednesday. Im going on holiday abroad a week on Sunday for a total of 1 week so sunday to sunday.

I was just going to jag on the Wednesday as normal and when I come back wait till the Wednesday and jag again so I will have missed 1 week. Do I just stay at the dose im at or would I need to drop slightly as I've missed a week? Thanks 😊

SilenceInside · 10/09/2025 14:17

You can just stay on the dose you are on, no need to drop down. The instruction leaflet says

"If it’s been more than 4 days since you should have used Mounjaro:

• Skip the missed dose
• Then inject your next dose as usual on your scheduled day"

Which is what you have just described.

Autumnflowers2 · 10/09/2025 14:33

My provider has just emailed to say they have finally decided on the new prices
£449 for 15 of monjroro
Just wow ..
So I definitely need to move provider
Any recommendations pls

@Autumnflowers2 looking at the Monj website, of the cheaper ones for 15mg I have used WePrescribe and Pharmacy2U without any issues in the past. I have recently used Swift with no issues too.

Autumnflowers2 · 10/09/2025 14:36

I might look at pharmacy to u as I already get my medication for other things through them

Autumnflowers2 · 10/09/2025 14:38

Is that since September changes you have used them

Autumnflowers2 · 10/09/2025 14:43

Who has switched to wygovy?
It's £115 cheaper for top amount than monjroro
Anyone switched?

Autumnflowers2 · 10/09/2025 14:46

I'm getting lots of adverts for zava ...are they any good

SilenceInside · 10/09/2025 14:49

@Autumnflowers2 I’ve not ordered anywhere since the price hike. My most recent order was with Asda at the old prices. I’ve used Zava before, no issue with them either. Zava are a big provider as they also provide the Asda orders too, so I think they’re a bit less responsive than a smaller pharmacy. But that’s not an issue unless you have an issue iyswim!

Autumnflowers2 · 10/09/2025 15:09

I've got two pens from my old provider
I don't know weather to register with a new company now or wait .
I'm definitely not staying with old company
I can imagine anyone can produce £449 a month

Doggymummar · 10/09/2025 15:30

I'm refusing to pay over £200 a month £449 is crazy prices. Just gonna eek it out I think.

Medino is £299 for a 15mg pen.
I've got a 10% discount if you'd like it, which will bring it down to £269.

They then give you an 8% discount every month, so it's always cheaper.

If you're thinking of Wegovy, CheqUp is charging £160 for a 2.4mg pen and I've got a £50 discount for that, too.
So it would be £110.

I am thinking of trying Numan for my next pen, as the next cheapest I can see on Monj is £195. I assume it's easy to immediately cancel so that they don't charge you the full £329 for 10mg the following month? Which makes me wonder how the 10mg can be £169, as surely it's £229 with £100 off??

eibbed999 · 10/09/2025 15:50

If you look on Vinted at stuff by a brand called Disturbia you might like it @Autumnflowers2 - not the cheapest even second hand, but the quality is good and I've bought a few dresses from them - it's a sort of Grown up Goth look!

EverybodysALebowski · 10/09/2025 15:55

Minor scale victory today: have now lost 2 stone since starting in late June. Also now under 20 stone.
More important: knee and back pain gone, stamina and sleep improved.

eibbed999 · 10/09/2025 16:00

Weigh in/jab day, I think week 25. One little pound off, which is okay. I'm under 18 stone (just!) and that's 4 stone down. I seem to have been gaining and losing the same couple of pounds for so long now. I was 252lbs at the end of July! Some of that is holiday indulgence, but some feels like a distinct slowing down. I am almost at the lightest I've been in the last two decades - I got to 248lbs in 2020, and then slowed right down (and eventually regained plus the traditional extra 2 stone for fun!). I do wonder if there's some truth to the whole 'set point' theory, especially for people who have been extremely overweight for a very long time. It's like I reach this kind of stage, and my body goes 'oh no you don't, let's steady this ship, shall we?' I'm not eating any differently than before, and if anything doing more exercise. I'll keep the faith and persevere - if it slows to a few pound a month then so be it, it's better than gaining. It's just that like most of us, I still have a long way to go - another 7 or 8 stone really, and my BMI is still 39. Plus the damn stuff is so expensive now it's pretty worrying, wondering how long I'll be able to afford the medication. I have a few pens in the fridge and hope the prices start to stabilise in a few months time. I suspect there might be some good offers in Jan, as there usually are for anything diet and fitness related! On the plus side I've lost inches from my waist and hips (though still massive!), and weirdly my back, and clothes hang a lot nicer than they used to. Keep up the good work all!

SW: 307lb
CW: 251lb

I've been with Zava since the start. They have been fine. 2 15 mg pens will cost me £660 if I stay with them. I will be looking at finding another supplier when my stash runs out.

Lds1 · 10/09/2025 18:06

I've been with zava since I started they've been fine, only draw back was you couldn't pick delivery date but my work is flexible so when I got the tracking to say it would arrive I'd just work from home.
