@TragicMuseand @Elle771please don't hate me if it doesn't work for you. 🙄🤣

I am feeling a bit responsible for telling you about them.

Oh god, not a bit! Don’t worry! I was just griping, but I have 5 or 6 weeks left so it’ll be fine!!

@SilenceInside have a lovely holiday xx
@Fffreeeeezing will update what animal I’ve lost so far 🤭
@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne that did make me laugh, I could never do those type of questions 🤣

NSV of today
I realised I’d come downstairs without putting the new HRT patch on. So I “popped back up” - 8 months ago we were thinking I’d need a stairlift soon.

That’s amazing Kay! I’m so happy for you!

PositiveAttitude · 29/08/2025 15:37

I am going to nominate myself for the stupidest NSV award today.

When I take the dog out for her morning wee I shove my phone down my bra.
This morning I got home from the walk and was getting ready for work. I couldn't find my phone anywhere. I retraced my steps, and searched everywhere. It was on silent, but I thought I would phone it and see if I could hear it vibrating.
When I phoned my number from my landline I suddenly had a vibration on my back!!! My bra is obviously looser now and the phone had managed to swivel around to my back!!!
I will have to find somewhere else to shove it until I get some new bras now. 🤣🤣

PositiveAttitude · 29/08/2025 15:39

@Kay2000
That's a brilliant NSV.

So many of you are doing so well. Well done to everyone!!

@PositiveAttitude 🤣🤭🤣. Definitely time to go bra shopping!! Or buy a little bag for your phone.

I kind of need some advice
I did post right on the end of the last thread ,so I'm just sorting of reposting,as I'm not sure what to do
Coming up to *10 months on monjroro
4 pounds of an 8 stone loss
I've not lost a pound the whole of August
Just loosing and gaining the same 2 pounds .
Most people will loose 8 stone and be at the end of their journey,so not need to loose any more .
So I'm wondering if it's just stopped working, because it thinks it's done it's job..
Or it's designed to not work after a large loss ,or my body has got used to it ..
I'm on 15 ,and I'm hungry and thinking about food a lot more .
I've needed a lot of willpower anyway on monjroro,it hasn't stopped me feeling hungry ever ,but it did take away a lot of food noise .
I'm thinking maybe I'm eating more without realising,I usually stick to 1200 cals a day ,I've done that the whole 10 months .
Or maybe I need to try ozempic,to kick start weight loss ,but I've still 2 ,15 mg pens to use up.
Has anyone else had this
I'm worried It will lead to a binge if I drop my calories any lower
I'm currently a size 20 ..so plenty of weight to loose still .
Bit lost with it really
Gald of any thoughts

Motnight · 29/08/2025 16:33

@Autumnflowers2 I haven't really got any advice but well done so far!

I'd definitely stick with MK at least until the end of your pens.

It's still calories in versus calories out. Are you sure you are only consuming 1200 calories a day? If that's the case you should be losing weight still.

Good luck!

PearlsPearl · 29/08/2025 16:45

@Kay2000 I absolutely love your NSV. This is what we’re living for. From stairlifts for you, and mobility scooters for me, to this. Hurrah for you xxx

@Autumnflowers2 maybe track your calories exactly for a week on Nutracheck and see where you’re at? Good luck, I’m sure it hasn’t stopped working, maybe just need a reset. Some people on here have suggested omad before to give your body a boost (I personally couldn’t do it but may be an option for you?) also I read on Reddit, some people say you need a day of more calories than usual once a week or so to shake up your metabolism. Don’t take my word for it. But I usually eat a lot more on a Sunday (I jab Sun eve so it’s usually worn off) including a big pudding at lunch and a caramel latte, and am ‘good’ the rest of the week. I don’t know, just throwing out suggestions xxx

Yeah ..maybe I'm not ..I'd upped the exercise as well last week, trying to get a loss .
Definitely will use then pens I have

Lds1 · 29/08/2025 16:51

If you've upped exercise is it also possible you're gaining muscle?

Swimming more ..I don't think I'm building muscles swimming,I'm not sure

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 29/08/2025 17:08

@Autumnflowers2

I do think that it would help if you track your calories very, very carefully for a few days.

It seems likely that you're consuming more calories than you think you are.

Give it a try. And I also recommend OMAD for kick-starting your metabolism a bit. That always works for me.

You've done remarkably well so far!

Yes
I agree
I'm going to do that for a week
Thankyou

Kay2000 · 29/08/2025 17:19

@Autumnflowers2 I’d definitely track calories carefully for a week then reassess. I always think there are no overweight people in a famine, we are still subjected to calories in v calories out, (I’d just be one of the last to die… 😂) and it’s easy to eat just 200 over what you need to lose weight. What’s your current BMI? I’ve also read of people sticking for a couple of months, as the body does seem to have a weight it wants to be (yours might be this one), but if you stick with it, the lbs should start to go again eventually.

SecretNameforMN · 29/08/2025 17:42

Hi all. Enjoying all your posts.

How can I work out how many calories I am supposed to be eating when taking 2.5 Mounjaro?

Has anyone worked out a set of supplements we should be taking? There are so many companies pushing their supplements my head is spinning and I don't know who to trust of what to take.

SilenceInside · 29/08/2025 17:50

@SecretNameforMN you can use an online TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) calculator to work out what calorie total you need each day to maintain your weight. You can then subtract 500 cals to be in a deficit that will result in a steady weight loss. The TDEE calculator will ask for your current weight, height, sex, age and estimated activity level and then work out your TDEE.

In terms of supplements you don’t need anything. I’ve always taken a decent multivitamin which I continue to take, and that’s it for me.

I don't take any supplements at all.

I just try to eat the same (of the healthy stuff) as I ate before, but much less of it than I used to. I've always cooked from scratch.

My downfall was eating vast quantities of utter crap on top of my healthy diet. So on MJ, I miss the utter crap out.

Yes I have been worried this is the weight my body wants to be
I have always always weighed very heavy
Even at my thinnest ,and the nurse at my practice telling me don't loose to much more weight,I was still heavy.
Yet my mum never got above 9 stone
There's photos of me age 7 sat on her knee ,and you can bearly see her , because I'm in the way .
I think I have lost the weight quite quickly, and maybe this. Is my body's way of slowing me down for a while ,
I'm not going to do anything drastic ,I'm just going to carry on trying to do what I know works ..trust the process, calorie count and pray I report a loss next week

You are all such wonderful people,I'd be lost without this thread x
