New thread for anyone with more than 5 stone/30kg to lose. All welcome, whichever part of the journey you are on.

We have newbies and those who have got to their targets and lots of us in between at various stages, all supporting each other along the way.

Kiwis and milled flaxseed are still the order of the day, along with water, posh scales, weight loss charts (thank you Infosec!), Vinted and even more water...

We're coping with the Mounjaro palavers and hoping that somehow, we will all still be able to carry on with this amazing journey which is working so well for most of us.

No discount codes please - there is a separate thread for that.

being brave! Things to note...

(a) rookie mistake - I didn't put my jeans on first, so they're not done up as I couldn't get them under the corset once it was laced up! So they're just loose on me so I could see what the corset would look like with jeans!

(b) the much neglected walking pad which I have only used twice since getting it 🙄

(c) My 'ill' hair which has turned to whispy straw since getting this virus..! I CBA scrubbing my face out but usually make more of an effort, but have no make up on, also due to stupid virus...

Anyway, I can highly recommend Corset Story for the feel good curves factor and there are quite a few on Vinted 😊

Am hoping it will lace tighter over the coming weeks and months!

Oh moo , brought a tear to my eye. You look amazing. I will try to post jeans pictures tomorrow

alltablenochairs · 21/10/2025 06:52

@MooBaggage oh my goodness look at you- youre looking amazing!

gimmemounjaro · 21/10/2025 07:18

OMG @MooBaggage you look fabulous!

GiveMeWordGames · 21/10/2025 08:40

@MooBaggage you look bloody great! It's not just the corset, which works brilliantly, but your arms are looking particularly svelte.

@Reginaphalangeeeee sorry that you're finding things mentally tough right now. I've pushed jab dates back and forward loads and it's always been fine. You can course correct later if you want to, or split dose to cover a larger gap. Crossing fingers you feel better soon.

MooBaggage · 21/10/2025 09:30

Thanks everyone 😍

I keep this photo at the top of my photos - me last year - having a great time, but so big and uncomfortable in my body - in a lot of pain and always feeling like the hugest person in the room...

I am enjoying discovering a new shape underneath the fat! But my mind won't allow me to believe the loss, so having old and current photos is quite handy at the moment. Hopefully over time it just becomes the new normal?!

Oh my word the difference is quite staggering @MooBaggage 👏👏👏

I do love a progress pic 🤩

Yes I think it just takes a bit of time for your thoughts about yourself - self-image / identity etc - to adjust. It will happen eventually though and you will hardly remember what it was like to be in your old body.

GiveMeWordGames · 21/10/2025 09:53

Wow, what a transformation! And you're not done yet....😃

AnneinEdinburgh · 21/10/2025 10:27

Wow what a change, well done you! Love the corset!

neveroutofthekitchen · 21/10/2025 10:48

Wow! @MooBaggage

InfoSecInTheCity · 21/10/2025 11:16

@MooBaggageyou look absolutely fucking fantastic (excuse my French but seriously!)

I am in the US for work this week, had an extra long day yesterday travelling and ate some really random combinations of airline food thanks to their weird diabetic option which seems to just be giving you whatever was leftover from other meals that isn’t bread or rice. So lunch was Thai marinaded cod (I don’t eat fish so left this), with a tiny pot of Mexican kidney beans salad, with a little pot of coconut goo for pudding, then the dinner option was cheese and spring onion frittata, potatoes raise my sugars so just had a couple of bites of this to tide me over. Luckily I had a couple of protein bars stashed in my bag so was able to eat those to keep going.

VelociraptorsVelociRapping · 21/10/2025 11:25

@MooBaggage you look STUNNING. Get that corset worn out of the house at the earliest opportunity! That’s an order 😉

UnimaginableWindBird · 21/10/2025 15:09

Awww - everyone is very kind and you've proper cheered me up on a rainy day!

Still got 3 x stone to go, but definitely feel like I've turned a corner - just need my brain to catch up with it all..!

In the meantime, we just KBO because that's all we can do 😍

Still just over 14 stone and size 16 but down from 19 stone and size 20

GiveMeWordGames · 21/10/2025 19:49

Amazing difference @AnneinEdinburgh , well done!

@InfoSecInTheCity that sounds like hard going, and so similar to my situation last month. Hang in there.

Seahorsesplendour · 21/10/2025 19:49

Wow you both look amazing!! Thanks for sharing!!!

dimples76 · 21/10/2025 20:04

Incredible transformations! Well done both of you.

@MooBaggage your arms do look particularly impressive - those weights are doing their work.

Not having such a good week eating wise. Yesterday I just couldn't seem to satisfy my appetite. Probably a combination of time of the month and delaying my jab. Giving a big lecture tomorrow and will wait until after it to jab as I can't risk having the runs again.

ShrankLastWinter · 21/10/2025 22:37

So exciting to see the transformation pictures!

Good luck with the lecture tomorrow, @dimples76!

Zebracat · 22/10/2025 07:57

@AnneinEdinburgh crikey, I’m beginning to believe that women only get fat in order to hide their devastating beauty from the world. Not that fat women aren’t beautiful, just that it’s not generally devastating. I had an nsv yesterday. I went to see a podiatrist and he talked about my strong muscular frame and how protective that was!

MooBaggage · 22/10/2025 08:23

@AnneinEdinburgh you look fantastic! Look at your teeny tiny tummy! You look strong as well as trim - brilliant 😍
