Medexpress- prescribing? Delivering?

Has anyone has an order prescribed since Friday? They are not replying- or even receiving emails due to the volume, so now I’m getting worried. Is there any way they could be pocketing the money and not delivering? The process was so fast before the price increase news, and now it’s a brick wall. I’m at the end of a pen and nothing to use next. As well as going away for a week, so anxious it’ll be warm and wasted. Any updates from Medexpress people would be appreciated!

I had a letter through the post from them to tell me about the price increases. Never had the email about it though

They allowed me to order two pens in quick succession so one is being delivered today and the other awaiting clinical review. I’ve been with them since the start. I’ve ordered 5mg if that makes any difference.

Just had my order of 7.5 approved that was made on 20th, but my order on 18th is still awaiting clinical review. At least one is on the way, although I have been charged for both!

Imissgoldengrahams · 29/08/2025 13:21

Got an email from Asda to say they've had to put the higher prices into effect, early
It let me order 7.5 (really need 10) but its £252, I promptly closed that page!! Can't believe how expensive it is

MadisonMarieParksValetta · 29/08/2025 13:23

If anyone else is thinking of switching to Wegovy, I ordered with Voy last night and have been approved and dispatched today. They put me onto 0.5 which is the equivalent of 5mg MJ. I was on 7.5mg but to be honest I'm fine with a slow loss.

Denisio1966 · 29/08/2025 18:19

Well I am still waiting on MedExpress. I placed my order 2 weeks ago. I have emailed them and no reply.
Tried to order through Juniper yesterday. Still waiting to hear from them

I've been waiting on juniper since tuesday but my friend ordered Wednesday and has hers confirmed 🤞

I ordered 7.5mg on the 18th Aug, was under clinical review right up until last night when I got an email to say it had been approved. Then another to say it had been despatched and would arrive within 1-3 working days. Fortunately for me, it arrived this morning.

EricTheGardener · 29/08/2025 18:29

I'm a long-standing customer of nearly a year, meant to add.

TheOpalPlayer · 29/08/2025 19:44

has anyone got an order still awaiting clinical review and placed a second and had the second approved quicker? I have just placed a second order as my original order of 5 is still awaiting clinical review after 10 days and I have ran out now and getting hungry and putting on weight so I have just ordered a 2.5 now and hoping by some miracle this one will be auto approved and shipped

Sorry but no. I’ve got 2 orders outstanding, one for a 2.5 and another for a 5 and neither have been approved.

MadisonMarieParksValetta · 29/08/2025 20:24

My order from the 15th was approved today.

So I now have MJ coming next week and Wegovy tomorrow. Now don't know what to do!

Denisio1966 · 29/08/2025 22:24

I’m unable to place another order despite trying

jan2310 · 30/08/2025 08:28

Hallelujah! MedExpress have finally approved my order from 21st!

Denisio1966 · 30/08/2025 11:35

Approved this morning awaiting dispatch. 2 weeks and a day it took. Had ordered from Voy and Juniper but had heard nothing so I have cancelled them.

What price are they charging you? The original price or the new price?

I assume the old price as they’ve already taken it. They haven’t asked for more.

notnorman · 30/08/2025 13:56

Just had two pens from med express one from 14th and one from 22nd

jan2310 · 30/08/2025 14:20

I’ve just had notification from MedExpress that my order has been despatched and should arrive by 3rd September. But surely it won’t be cold by then? Has anyone had this happen before? Previously my orders have been despatched and arrived the next day.

Choccyface · 30/08/2025 15:52

My order from the 15th (2.5) has finally been approved and says despatched although the Royal Mail tracker says waiting for parcel. My second order is still pending (2.5) even though medexpress have said they only have 2.5 in stock? Just glad one is finally on its way

Lucy2025 · 30/08/2025 16:34

Think this email tells us everything we need to know. They will be holding back on orders so that on the 1st, they can charge a new price. I had to have my “clinically reviewed” again (i’ve been using it for 6 months) after the price increase, send another photo, etc, and haven’t heard a thing from them in 2 weeks. Now apparently it’s out of stock and they won’t get anymore till 1st september where sadly the prices have gone up 🤣 disgraceful behaviour but i’m not surprised!

I think it’s unclear. It seems to imply that orders already placed will be fulfilled at the price already paid, but then implies that only clinically approved orders are secured. I’m inclined to think that orders already placed and paid for will be at the price paid….. but maybe not.

notnorman · 30/08/2025 18:06

I got that email but they honoured the price I paid earlier on in the month and delivered the two this morning x

Denisio1966 · 30/08/2025 20:37

Royal Mail have received mine this evening. Royal Mail have told me they will deliver it on Tuesday 2/9. That will be almost 72 hours after Royal Mail received my parcel.

I have emailed MedExpress but I don’t expect they will read my email to take action on RM within time. It has been sent RM24!!

I got my order confirmed with Juniper today - looks like they've already implemented the September prices as 10mg cost me £229 (£304 - £75 discount) so I'll be cancelling once the pen arrives.

My 15mg pen was £175 - are you sure? It says my discount was more than the £75 off
