Medexpress- prescribing? Delivering?

Has anyone has an order prescribed since Friday? They are not replying- or even receiving emails due to the volume, so now I’m getting worried. Is there any way they could be pocketing the money and not delivering? The process was so fast before the price increase news, and now it’s a brick wall. I’m at the end of a pen and nothing to use next. As well as going away for a week, so anxious it’ll be warm and wasted. Any updates from Medexpress people would be appreciated!

Mine are all on my credit card hoping that I could cancel some before the bill came on. But that's not panned out as non have approved yet or sent so not sure which ones might still deliver

I ordered in 15/8 10mg pen. Still waiting for clinical review. Emailed them twice. Heard nothing. I read on here orders made way after me have been delivered. I have been with MedExpress the whole of my weight loss journey. I take it customer loyalty is no longer a thing.

can someone advise where else is good to order from please

It’s very frustrating. I’m in the same situation, have only ordered from them, no-one else. I think they’re making a mistake by not prioritising existing customers who have been loyal. The new customers are just shopping around based on availability and price and less likely to stick with them. And they will lose us.

I’ve continued emailing every day, numerous phone calls but nothing. Was intending on switching to Wegovy but can’t even do that now as I have two pens still awaiting clinical review two weeks later!

This feels absolutely hopeless now and if this is where my journey ends I just want to at least receive some communication and the £400 they have taken!!

I've had my order from juniper approved and set for dispatch faster than the medexpress one! Better communication too as it shows you stages, like when a prescriber has been assigned to you etc so at least you know something is happening.

I ordered 2 x 2.5mg from MedExpress, one on 15th and one on 18th. Order from 15th was delivered on Sunday, order from 18th was delivered yesterday (27th) both within the 10 day window they stated in their delay email. They do need to sort their comms out though as they keep sending me the standard email to titrate up but have no 5mg in stock so I can’t even if I wanted to!

Now I’m really confused. 😵‍💫

I've just had that same email but they cancelled my order a day or so ago

I haven't had that email so quired if they will honour my order at 9am yesterday.

I put in an order with Juniper which was approved today for 12.5mg but at £329!! I’d already paid £189 as asked, they applied £80 discount and now want another £60 So I’ve asked for a refund and think this really might have to be the end of my journey 😭😭😭

Could I use your discount code please? ☺️

Oh god I ordered a 12.5mg pen from them yesterday. I'm not not paying that price! Monj said it was 179 with the discount?!

@millenialmollyyes I had the same message yesterday. It’s a v blanket email isn’t it and still doesn’t mean (in my case anyway) that anything has been approved or moved on (apart from them taking the cash obviously 🙄) since I ordered last Thursday. I suppose at the moment I’m just going to take it at face value as I have 3 doses left. But it’s not ideal is it?

I am switching to wegovy. I was going to switch anyway due to prices but I was planning to switch with MedExpress. No chance now. They won't get another penny from me.

I am going to look for wegovy suppliers on here and see what's recommended and switch tomorrow.

Tried to ring med express but they’ve changed their phone number to 00000000000 on their website

Just had an update - the 2 orders I have with them from 14th and 22nd are out of stock. They can refund me or they keep it as credit with £10 extra as an apology !!

What dose pens were they @notnorman? So frustrating isn't it. I've heard nothing from my order on the 18th.

STOP PRESS- if anyone has tried calling ME they might get through right now, apparently open until 10pm.

I have just called MedExpress on the off chance someone might answer and my call was answered within a minute! Advisor confirmed my order was still on the system but they had no idea when it would be processed due to backlog etc. Said most orders are well exceeding the 10 day timeframe. I requested a refund and it has been shown in my bank immediately.

Now who to go with to begin Wegovy…

I ordered on the 18 August and still under clinical review 😡😡

I attempted to reorder 5 mgs yesterday and the reply said that I have been declined for medical reasons!! Absolutely nothing has changed with my criteria 🤦‍♀️
Went to local chemist for another reason and asked if they can prescribe MJ . Had an appointment with the pharmacist and left hour later and walked out with my new pen !
Only £10 more than med express and so worth it!
Chemist have already reserved my pen for October with no extra cost …win win 😊

Latest email from MedExpress only guarantees the price on “clinically approved” orders. Which explains why orders are not being clinically approved at the moment.
