Creating this in advance, as the old thread is suddenly moving quickly due to recent events. No matter what challenges lie ahead we are still making amazing progress - so let’s keep supporting one another along the way as we approach 4 months ‘on the pen’.

I just put on the thread 4 I was going to order from Numan (who had cancelled my last week order)…went to re-order only to find the discount they were offering was only on 2.5mg pens 🙄. Have just ordered from e-Surgery for £131 using the discount code on monj.co.uk.

Is anyone who wants to and is in a position to be able to order before 1st Sep still struggling or are we all sorted now? 🤞

Evening all, having ordered on Friday, my Superdrug and Simple Pharmacy orders arrived today and the Pharnacy2U order is coming in the morning. I had a word with the postie and he said that he’ll sign for it for me and leave it under a bush if I’m not in - hurrah. So if I do the golden dose that should take me almost up to Xmas and at the current rate hopefully another 2 stone down. Then I can assess and see how I look / feel.

I've just reordered from my proper supplier but they've suspended price match (I've never paid full price before) so it was £200 for 10mg. Dread to think what they'll be charging after 1st September.

I may try to see if I can get one more pen on the cheap. Although I may wait and see if the pen I ordered from Yourmedicals turns up before I do this? I don't want to have too much medication.

I'm hoping I don't have any huge losses in the next few weeks as my BMI is 29 I had to add a few lbs on when I went to a new supplier as they wouldn't accept me under 30 and I may want to move supplier permanently depending on how it all goes down from 1st September.

So much to think about.

I am sorted, wasn't in a position to stockpile unfortunately, the pen I got delivered today I had just about managed to order two weeks early on pendemic day by delaying some bills. But I already had two extra pens in the fridge from cheap deals a while ago. I'm so glad now that I stayed on schedule and kept ordering and didn't use those up first. So I have 4 full pens in the fridge as I'm due to start a new one this week, I think I can make those last for 6months. If I can lose on average 1.5lbs per week till then I'll be just about at my target (which is still very overweight but I'm not aiming for skinny)

@Crunchymum Wash your mouth out with soap! Hoping not to get big losses?! The scale demons will hear you and curse us all!!

Weigh in day and another 2lbs lost. Almost 10kg lost in total. So that’s about 1.5 stone. A lot less than lots of you but I’m very happy.
received an email from She Med to say they are still negotiating prices so I reordered early this evening to maintain one pen at a time £159

Well done on the loss @toobusytoclean im not the quickest loser either, I've lost approx 25lbs as of Monday thanks to an unexpected 3lb off.

I'm hoping to have enough mj to lose what I need to and titrate down. My original plan was to stay on it long term for maintenance but I'll have to see how things are when the time comes.

-2lb off for me this week which is a bit disappointing as it was my first week on 10mg (I usually lose "well" on week one of a new pen and then it evens out) but it's all good. I'm now in the 10st range (just about - I'm 10st 13lbs 😂) for the first time in 13 years and my BMI is now just under 29.

I've lost -34.5lb overall so almost 2.5st which was my goal for a big family party in a few weeks.

Other than the blooming price hike its all going so well.

10mg has been fine by the way. Bit of dizziness and a little bit headachy day after jabbing but other than that it's been fine thus far.

your gastro holiday sounds amazing and glad you managed to get over your illness on the first night and enjoy all the delights that followed.

It’s been 2 weeks since I jabbed and weighed. I’ve had a week’s holiday since then and after weighing this morning it looks like I’ve only put on 1/2 a pound! I ate and drank all the usual things on holiday, lots of ice cream etc but just didn’t go overboard on portion sizes. Usually I would eat until I couldn’t eat another mouthful but this time I was mindful to stop when I’d had just enough to not be hungry any more. And no snacking still despite not having jabbed. I’m really happy with this - will jab today and get back on track though as definitely feeling hungrier the last few days.

total loss: 33lb

I’m still doing 3.75 from a 5mg pen. I have 2 pens in the fridge and one which I’ve ordered from Swift doctor which has been approved but they’ve said could be delayed by 1-2 weeks. If that arrives I should have enough to last me until December (at current dose). I have about a stone to lose and if there’s any left then plan to taper down and hopefully not buy any more. That’s my plan for now, although I do worry that it might be harder to get in future if I start to put weight back on.

Big post-holiday unpacking and wash day today so that should keep me busy - nice to be off work until after the bank holiday to get organised ☺️

What sort of use by dates do you have on your Mounjaro pens? I’ve just checked my latest wegovy pen and the use by date is April 2027!
Might order a couple of the lower dose pens just in case my weight starts to go up in the next couple of years. Try and nip it in the bud before it becomes too much of a problem.

@GoGoGovyThe 2 pens I got this week are Feb 27 and the one I’m using now is Nov 26. Never had one with a short date at all. I expect all the MJ will have a long date from now on as any stock that had been sitting around will have been sold.

well done @violetmondaysand @Crunchymumboth great losses (or minuscule holiday gain which is as good as a loss as think what it would have been in the past!) and it must feel brilliant to be in the 10 stone bracket! That’s my next mini goal after getting to healthy bracket first - last seen in 2018!
