I did my 11th jab today. Only on second pen. I bought a 5mg pen and have taken 6 3.75mg from it.
Haven’t weighed this week as on holiday. Have eaten more treats this week….

What are the new UK List Prices of Mounjaro?
Mounjaro®▼ (tirzepatide) KwikPen® Dose Updated UK List Price 2.5mg £133 5mg £180 7.5mg £255 10mg £255 12.5mg £330 15mg £330

Bear in mind this is the wholesale prices, the prices we will pay will be much worse. Looks like its over for me...

I’m not sure about this. I suppose we have to wait and see how the providers respond. I’m likely to order again before 1st September so might order two pens.

Booklover2021 · 14/08/2025 12:29

Weighed myself this morning as my period started yesterday.

SW 14.1 stone
CW 12.6 stone

And embarrassing NSV...walking around my supermarket having to keep pulling my knickers up as they were falling down 😂

Mynewusersame · 14/08/2025 13:53

I’ve just ordered a new 5mg and have a fresh one in the fridge so hoping that dose continues to work for me, and means I’m covered for the next 10 weeks at least. Depending on the actual price announcements I could order a third pen before the end of the month as my provider needs at least 2 weeks between orders…
Feels very frustrating as although I can still afford a higher price it’s just the principle and profiteering! And so so unfair on those who already struggle to afford and haven’t finished their weight loss/want to be on for maintenance. I’ve gone from being someone who thought I’d just do 3 months to kick start things, to wanting to be on for life, so this has massively thrown me. Guess it’s just a waiting game to see how pharmacies respond with market prices.

SecretIrnBruDrinker · 14/08/2025 14:42

Mynewusersame Same here. I was going to order my next pen in the next week to make use of my £10 ASDA voucher, but I've ordered today just to make sure it's at the lower price, so had to gamble that 5mg is going to suit for the next 6-7 weeks.

FoxRedPuppy · 14/08/2025 14:58

Don’t panic yet. There are some knowledgable people on that thread. List price doesn’t actually mean the price a pharmacy is paying. They could increase the list price and then give a higher discount to pharmacies.

The pressure to increase list prices has come from Trump and bringing in line leith EU. It has no bearing really on what commercial agreements are made between El lily and the pharmacies.

We have to wait and see what the pharmacies negotiate and publish.

After reading more responses on that thread I've peeled myself off the ceiling a bit but I did panic order 2 pens in the process. I guess if the worse case scenario comes to pass, I could switch to WeGovy but I don't think that has the impact on my PCOS that I'm desperately needing.

Gingercar · 14/08/2025 16:33

I’ve seen quite a few posts of people panic buying today. Which will probably cause shortages and push prices up too.

Booklover2021 · 14/08/2025 17:51

Trying to reorder my pen and medexpress is crashing 😞

MissMogs · 14/08/2025 19:04

I’ve caved and panic bought next 2 pens - assuming all accepted! Neither of the Farmaci codes on Monj were working though, so ended up paying more which was a bit annoying!

FattyBumBum17 · 14/08/2025 19:36

Ive just placed my usual order with Pharmulous. It didn’t deduct the discount and when I look at my order online it’s someone else’s details! I have no idea what’s going on.

Odd NSV for me last night. I was going to a dinner dance so got myself all kitted up. I’ve lost a couple of stone now so it was no surprise that my usual DJ was too big and I had to dust off an old one that hadn’t seen daylight for many years.
The surprise came when I had to tie the laces on my shiny black shoes. They were ridiculously loose, the laced instep was almost overlapping.
Have I really lost weight from my feet?! 😂

Gingercar · 14/08/2025 22:42

It’s common going down shoe sizes when you lose weight. Same with rings getting loose. Well done! Hope you had a great time.

Crinklecat · 14/08/2025 23:18

I already have a 7.5mg pen dispatched today from IQ doctor (£119) and I’ve just panic bought 7.5mg from online clinic (£123) and bolt pharmacy (£125). No idea if they’ll go through or not, and would rather have gone for 10mg for same price but I only have the 5mg box to show. Plan on staying on 5mg but making the pens last longer so this should do me for a good while assuming the orders fulfil. Hope I’m panicking about nothing

How did you get them so cheap. Help!
thanks

Morning! Week 11 Day 7. Weigh day and jab night. After losing 2.2lbs last week this week is a 0.6lb loss which averages out over 2 weeks so not too disappointed, this seems to be a common pattern for my body when I drop quite a bit in 1 week. But obvs I would have loved to see maybe a full pound off to inch closer to goals but there we go, I carry on, I stay consistent and it will come!

SW: 16st (101.7kg)
CW: 14st 9.2lbs (93.1kg)

Staying on 3.75 as I don't have SEs aside from very mild constipation. Total loss 18.8lbs I am absolutely delighted to be 14st something, clothes fit better, I can touch my toes easier and I just feel better in general. Will be taking a health test end of this month so hoping cholesterol will have improved along some other health markers 🤞

Crinklecat · 15/08/2025 10:00

2 months today and 1lb off 2 stone after a very slow week, but today I’m 14 stone something for the first time in years 🥳

my visceral fat is still 19 though and hasn’t moved for nearly 3 weeks. Really would like that to start shifting

update on the 2 orders I placed yesterday, online clinic has been confirmed but with a delivery date of 13 September. Luckily I have another pen arriving today but it’s good to know (hopefully!) my next one is secured

Just had a text from supplier (Medexpress) to say they're holding their prices whilst stocks last. So go to order another one and website is down goes maintenance. I have a 5mg pen in fridge so thought order another and that's me sorted for 8 weeks. Will be spending this evening checking the site.

Tinybirdie · 15/08/2025 18:08

This is depressing news about the price hike! I have just ordered my next pen as I was due to. I have 2 weeks left in my pen plus a golden dose. Chances of having a pen delivered feels close to zero. What a mess

Librariesrule · 15/08/2025 18:53

Panic over, website up and running again so new pen has been ordered. Although there could be a delay in delivery.

Crinklecat · 15/08/2025 19:07

despite online clinic saying mid sept December, ordered yesterday, dispatched today
