Hope I’ve done this right, I’ve never started a thread before.

@qs90 hope you don’t mind me starting a new one for us but thread 4 was full and I don’t want to lose my crew!

Oh good shout! I have quite a few pairs of jeans that are falling off but I still love!
Are they on Amazon?

Yes, although I'm sure there are a few places with similar things. Luckily wide legged jeans are in vogue!

I recommend Halara jeans. I bought them at my biggest and they were flattering and comfortable. Two stone down and they still fit but with a more svelte line!

Also, I have managed to get an extra pen for a little more from my usual pharmacy and they have confirmed my subscription order for the 24th so that's 10 doses plus the four I have left on my current pen. That gets to me Xmas and hopefully, I'll only need a couple more after that so feeling "set" after a bit of panic. That's assuming I'm ok to stay on 5mg but I'm keen not to go up if I can and its a steady 1-1.5lb a week which I am ok with. I do hope we can keep the group going, its been great.

@RhaenysRocks I haven’t heard of Halara but like the look of a few things on their website. I notice they ship from overseas, does the stuff take an age to come? Ambitiously worried I might be too thin for it by the time it gets here if it does 😂.

@Uninvitedleaf no delivery was ok, about a week maybe. They are ridiculously comfortable. They do dresses and skirts, all with wide elastic waistbands.

I have been desperate from some bits from Halara for ages but couldn’t justify the cost (especially while paying out for mj). Pretty much everything they sell look so comfortable and flattering!

I've got the wide legged jeans. I did have to get them taken up because I'm only 5'1 and even the short length was too long but they are really good. If hadn't lost weight I'd have ordered some more by now but am hoping my old jeans will be coming back into circulation soon. Plus they are a bit spendy when MJ is also in the budget.

I’ve been a bit head in the sand about the extra dose in the pen. But with the delays my MJ supplier is experiencing - can anyone recommend a good place to get needles and syringes for the golden dose?

Amazon. I don't think you can go wrong, so long as it's smallish and is a syringe with needle built in.

Scales have moved so that’s great after about a month hovering around the same weight. One thing I’ve found very odd this week though! Moved up to 10mg last week, and rather than finding it more effective, it seems to have been less so.. increased food noise this week, and I’m bloody ravenous this morning (and have been a bit hungrier the last few days). It’s especially odd as I tend to find that it’s more effective for me during the second half of the week, rather than high at the start and effects lessening as the week goes on. I obviously expected increased effectiveness having gone up.. Anyone else experienced this after moving up a dose at all??

Also STILL waiting for order approval from zava and Medexpress 😩

I read a few recommendations to use an approved medical supplier to make sure you get sterile needles so I got these ones from UK Medi. I bought extra wipes from them as well.

Also does anyone know of any suppliers who will accept a new patient with bmi under 27 (I have one of the conditions making me eligible with bmi 27)? Tried to look into ordering from somewhere cheaper but was immediately rejected as bmi too low (26.1). Not sure if that means I have to stay with previous suppliers, or whether there are companies who accept new patients if you send the evidence of previous subscription (the one I tried didn’t appear to - just said you’re not eligible and wouldn’t let me move forward with order).

Check you are not thirsty in the mornings? I often think I’m hungry and after a big cup of tea I’m good for hours.

Not got approval yet - they are obviously very busy! They are cheaper than Medexpress too.

No..Amazon ones are usually not medical grade. Go for a pharmacy supplier. Mine are something like UK pharmacy.

In other news, I couldn't get these on at all a couple of months ago 😁

Came down for a sea swim but the waves are crashing over the harbour wall so maybe not!!

I found this when I moved up to 10mg, the first week or so I found it felt less effective. Then the suppression came back and felt 'normal' , so much so, that I go on holiday this Friday so have only taken a half dose this week as I am so off food!!!

I ordered last Thursday from MedExpress (10mg) and received it on Monday so fingers crossed yours will be approved soon. I also have the option to order my next pen straight away rather than having to wait 2 weeks as usual, so might order another towards the end of the month before the increases. Hopefully that doesn't class me as a 'panic buyer' 😅

Thanks @vl888thats comforting to hear about the suppression! I ordered from Medexpress on Friday night when all the shit had hit the fan so maybe you managed to order before things got really crazy :) there’s a tracking number for Royal Mail on the order and the Royal Mail tracker says we’re expecting your parcel, but on Medexpress account it still says awaiting approval. Fingers crossed!

i had this when I went up to 5mg, first week I thought I’d injected water and ate loads, Second week could barely eat as I felt so sick so balanced out in the end I guess 😂

Thew shotsy app has quite a helpful estimate of how much will be in your system given your dates of jabs.

Weigh day for me - Week 19...I think. I started on April 9th.

Start Weight - 21st 9lbs (303lbs)
Current Weight - 15st 7lbs (217lbs)
Weight lost this week - 5lbs
Total weight lost - 6st 2lbs (86lbs)

I ate so much yesterday. I have tricked myself into thinking I have things under control, but without a doubt, its the medication that has things under control for me! I should have injected yesterday instead of today because the effects were gone - or distracted myself better, or just found an ounce of self-control - but I didnt! It has actually made me more worried than before about the price increase because I am not sure Wegovy is going to cut the mustard. Medexpress have said that Wegovy are hoping to release a stronger dose later in the year and since I am on 12.5mg of Mounjaro, I think the bigger dose might be what I need - but there is no confirmed date for its release yet.

Just had confirmation of prescription - ordered 7.5mg pen on Friday but also was able to order another pen, so have ordered next dose up (10mg) and will titrate down and measure clicks etc to get an extra dose or two out. Should take me to end of November and potentially quite close to target give or take 7-12lbs dependent on weight loss.

Starting a new job on October 6th and been sent the uniform ordering form today. Already looking like I could order a 12 now (would have been an 18 or 20 before!!) so wondering whether to order a 12 for measurements now or potentially a 10 as will be receiving it in 6 weeks. Such nice decisions to have to make though!
