Thought I'd kick start a new thread for this oh so supportive little group, as the last thread was reaching it's limit.

Well done to everyone on the successes- 10% body weight goal, running c2k, walking over over an hour, size 20 jeans- these are all fantastic and SO motivating for me!!

That chart is depressing as my starting weight wasn't on it either, and I'd have to get to 13.8stone to get into 'obese' which feels incredibly unlikely to me (almost exactly 10 stone) but that's because I've never managed to ever lose weight before, just always gone up! I'm 3 stone down though so mustn't lose hope.

I went to my pharmacy this morning (Numark) to collect my meds and thought I'd ask how much the WLI was there, thought if it's not much difference maybe I'll just get it there. £209!!!! Absolute robbers, how can they charge that?! I paid £125 I think for mine and it's £135 for a 5mg.

Think I’ve found one. Up to 400lbs which is 28s

not sure if this helps, but you can see how slowly I lose weight. Every bit counts towards the total tho.

Doggymummar · 06/06/2025 10:17

Oh well the image didn't want to post. Nevermind

Morning all,

Week 12 WI today and did my 2nd 7.5mg jab. Slightly disappointed, 2lb off but that brings me to a total of 2st 11lbs, would have been nice to make it to a nice round 3 stone in 12 weeks.

I suppose if I can do 3lbs this coming week I would hit the 3 stone in time for my 3 month MJ anniversary!

All this talk of BMI has made me realise I'm still in the 50's 🫣 but onwards and downwards we go......

I had the opposite of a NSV this week, don't know what we would call that. Long work meeting at somewhere with old school wooden chairs with arms. I spent 4hrs shuffling my arse around between teetering on the edge precariously and trying to wedge myself right in, I suffered pins and needles in places quite frankly I didn't know you could get them. I have a bruise line down each thigh from the chair aims digging in. I have no idea what went on in that meeting, was too distracted by the pain and looking at everyone else to see if they were struggling (of course, they were not)

Once again I just have to remember, it can only get better and I need to keep on doing what I'm doing, I literally couldn't be doing any more than I am.

GnomeDePlume · 06/06/2025 10:55

@Fffreeeeezing you are getting there. Nearly 3 stone down is already a great achievement.

SilenceInside · 06/06/2025 10:59

@Fffreeeeezing your work were being very unreasonable to book/hold a meeting in a room with hard wooden chairs for 4 hours! I am sure that other people were suffering too and trying hard to hide it. Meeting culture is so darn weird.

52soon · 06/06/2025 11:13

should be week 8 jab this week but have been put on strong antibiotics day before jab due that made me feel really nauseous so haven’t jabbed. 2lb lost, so 11lb in 7 weeks following my usual 2,1,2,1,2,1,2 pattern. Hoping not jabbing for a week won’t scupper me. I will jab again Wednesday.

KT1113 · 06/06/2025 13:15

Hi Everyone!

Should have been my 6th injection this morning but was delayed being delivered (my own fault, should've ordered earlier but couldn't decide whether to stick with 2.5 or move to 5 and dithered too long really!)

I hope I made the right decision, stuck with 2.5mg. My provider said if no negative side effects then to move up, but I feel like I've lost such a chunk of weight in a short time (30lbs in 5 weeks) that moving to a stronger dose wasn't necessary. I really stuggled to eat at the beginning and I'm happy that I'm now getting hungry for meals (still not wanting to eat between) so fingers crossed it was the right choice!

Anyway, I weighed even though I didn't jab and am hoping I get the delivery tomorrow 💉

SW 19st 9lb
CW 17st 7lb
GW 🔮

Hope you all have amazing weeks!

3s in 3mths /12w is amazing

many people lose lb a week so a stone in the time you have lost practically 3

I'm in!! Thank you @Blondeshavemorefun! I think that I have gone down 13 points on the BMI scale. Genuinely wonder now how my body coped.

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 06/06/2025 14:25

Well done @Fffreeeeezing you're getting there.
Keep plugging away. You're still losing and that's brilliant.

@Fffreeeeezing 52 weeks in a year, divided by 4- there are 13 weeks in 3 months so you’ve still two weeks to go to easily get over that 3 stone line 😊!

I’m in a near identical position, weigh in 11 today and 2st 10.75lbs down! Just another gazillion to go (my BMI has gone from 52.6 to 46.6). I’m very familiar with the dreaded board room chairs scenario so avoid booking in one particular room at my place. I went to an old fashioned theatre 2 weeks ago and barely made it to the interval due to the discomfort - that said I suspect I wouldn’t have squeezed in at all pre MJ. We can all look forward to the day that chairs are no longer the enemy.

PearlsPearl · 06/06/2025 15:49

I have definitely been there with chairs I don't fit in, @Fffreeeeezing and it's horrible and I really empathise.

3 stone down is amazing.

Veganpug · 08/06/2025 09:54

I'm really down at the moment, not wanting to leave the house,or do what I normally do.
Not sure if it's just me ,or mj contributing
This thread moves so fast it's hard to keep up ,every time I come on to read and chat there's pages of replies..shows it's popular 😀

Nice to see so many people doing so well. I am 11 pound away from ten stone and it’s without doubt the best thing I have done for myself and my health.
started at 23.3
currently 14 stone.
current target is 13.3 but may wish to lose a bit more when I get there.

it hasn’t always been easy to make the right decisions and not give up but it’s been so worth it. First time ever I truly believe that I will keep the weight off this time and have started exercising which I think will be the key to keeping it off. Here’s hoping.
