Sorry it’s hit you so hard. ☹️ can you stay in bed today and hopefully get some sleep?
Try and stay hydrated if you can.

fucking hell - been up all night with explosive diarrhoea and the most horrendous explosive burps - 😬 did anyone else have this and how long did it last? Really worried I have 9 hours of travel tomo on top of an 8 hour day and don’t know if I’ll be able to do it now (and I’m self employed). Supposed to be working today but at least it’s not 45 mins away although right now can’t imagine leaving the house - please tell me this gets better - thank fuck I only took 3.75

Me too. Week 4 of 2.5mg and I’ve had explosive diarrhoea since Monday (my last injection was on Sunday). Feel quite dizzy, can’t go to work. Was thinking it might be the chilli I ate, too oily/spicy. Was meant to go to 5mg next weekend but now I’m nervous.

Galadali · 07/05/2025 08:02

Finally made it to a stone loss (and into the 13s!) after 6w3d. Not surprising as I've barely eaten a thing since my first 5mg on Sunday. I might go back down to 2.5 as I can't keep going on this little food. I'm existing on electrolytes and Rennies at the moment which is not good for anyone.

2lbs off this week which isn’t deserved because I’ve had far too much wine. Back to clean eating today 🧡

wordywitch · 07/05/2025 08:39

W6D1 for me, just took my first 5mg dose so fingers crossed for no/few side effects. I’ve now lost 15 pounds since starting MJ, and I feel so much better in my clothes and in myself. I haven’t dared to try my sized down jeans yet but will do after a few more pounds are off as my size 18 trousers are definitely getting loose.

CW: 84.3kg (13st 4 lbs)
Lost: 7.1kg (15 lbs)

I had one night where I had to change my sheets at 2am 😐 only lasted one day thankfully

IncessantNameChanger · 07/05/2025 09:13

I took 2.5mg last night after a two week pause and have a horrible head ache now. Glad I didn't do the 5mg shot

SausageRoll90 · 07/05/2025 09:14

Hi guys. I've been a bit MIA recently with work and mum life keeping me busy so did a big catch up read this morning.

Well done on all the amazing losses and NSV 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 were doing it guys.

@Potato1234 I definitely have fatigue with MJ. The day after my jab I'm definitely more fatigued especially my 1st 2.5mg dose and when I went up this week to 3.75mg so I'm anticipating another low energy day on Saturday after my 5mg dose. It settles tho.

I can't remember who to tag for this but definitely was more snacky/moochi yesterday even though I was able to moderate what I ate and I'm post ovulation but not quite in the PMS zone yet. Hormones definitely impact my want for sugary things.

SausageRoll90 · 07/05/2025 09:21

Also I'm so glad I chose to top up my final (4th) 2.5mg with 0.3ml from the golden dose to get 3.75mg... I did a little weight check this morning and I've lost 2lb this week so far (weigh day is officially Friday for me) which is brilliant after a few weeks of 1lb losses 🙌🏻

I was wondering whether to top up my last 2.5mg dose too as I’ve not lost anything since my first week. Is this something a lot of others do? Really glad it worked for you SausageRoll90

Hi all, posting in here as well as the 10 stone group, so apologies if you're seeing this twice of your in the same group.

I'm W5D5 took my first 5mg at the weekend.
Just wondered if any one of those who have suffered from feeling cold felt the same.

Covered in sensitive goosebumps. Arms and legs.
Feeling slightly nauseous
Burps taste like last night's meal.
Feeling headachey and generally achey all over.
I don't have a temperature.

Could these flu like symptoms be the MJ?

I work in NHS, think I might take a covid / flu test while I'm here just to rule it out.

Yep exactly the same! But my nausea is bad I take Cyclizine. I’ve felt like I have mild flu since starting 5mg

Thank you!!
Who prescribes your cyclizine? I'm a bit twitched about going to GP and asking for some for a medication that I bought (yes through appropriate sources) from off of the Internet.

Also, did anything help?
I'm at work and can't wrap up warm cos I've got to be bare below the elbow.

How long before these symptoms left you or are they still there?

Thanks so much for your reply!!

I have a repeat prescription for it anyway for cyclical nausea. Someone on this thread posted a link for you to buy it online, not sure if it was legit or not. I took the 5 on Friday and woke up today still feeling the same. I’ve had my heating on and been wrapped in blankets. I thought the side effects would be less by now. I’ve been forcing myself to eat little bites and sip on water throughout the day. That’s unfortunate about your workwear - could you try a thermal vest? Sorry not much help really just empathy

Throwmoneyatit · 07/05/2025 11:17

Hi 👋

Thanks for this thread. Started first pen on Friday (now Wednesday), have weighed and so far, nothing.
Starting weight 93.8kg, 5'4"
I'm finding this weird to navigate in my mind. I occasionally feel hungry but have no desire to eat, and I'm eating very little.
I know I'm in a calorie deficit as I'm practically eating nothing - is this right?! Anything I do try and eat gives me heartburn or stomach pain, apart from granola yogurts!

That's great news @NinetyNineRedBalloonsGoBy!

I got into some old jeans this weekend too (although Size 20 to 18) - it's a great feeling! Roll on new week new losses 😎

Well done!!!!! I’m almost at that stage - 20 to 18!

GRCP · 07/05/2025 12:06

@SeaDippingandLattesI had the same symptoms after my first 2.5mg dose. It only lasted the one night and I haven’t had it as bad since, I’ve had the same symptoms but milder. Imodium!!

SeaDippingandLattes · 07/05/2025 12:54

Thanks all :) I have stayed in bed and am writing reports instead today. Can’t risk shitting myself on a train at 5am tomo so have rearranged work round. Sorry to hear that others have had this too. Does make me worried about taking the next dose again next week as I can’t cancel work again. Did anyone else have it repeatedly or just the once 🥸 I better be really fucking thin when I weigh myself next time 😂

Cyclizine is available to buy from your Pharmacy if you meet certain criteria or from online Pharmacies if you fill in a form . Google 'cyclizine over the counter ' and you should be able to see how to get some. Obviously check that you have no contraindications, and it can cause drowsiness so beware if driving/ drinking. It is quite possible that your MJ supplier might be able to help you. Hope you feel better soon - nothing worse than feeling sick all the time xx

Crikeyalmighty · 07/05/2025 13:53

@Throwmoneyatit yep - I had it every week on days 2/3/4 - felt great on 5/6/7 !! It’s one reason I’m doing 2 pens and out- I’m carrying on with GLP1 appetite suppressors ( herbal tablets) and willpower . I can’t take having chronic heartburn and nausea waves - never got diarrhoea though - I’m on week 5

PhantomErik · 07/05/2025 16:36

NSV - just got into size 18 jeans, was a 20 so snap with MissCreative & QS90 😁 they're a little snug but I'm delighted!

I'm Wk6D3 & have lost 12lbs & 4 inches off my waist so far.

AgileUser · 07/05/2025 16:53

Eeek—I’m off for a weekend away with friends from Friday and was meant to take my first 5mg injection then.

Last week, I brought my 4th 2.5mg jab forward to Thursday so I could take the next one today. No side effects from doing it early, and it had definitely started to wear off.

I’ve been going back and forth—take the 5mg and risk feeling rough all weekend, or go for the golden dose?

My friends know I’m on MJ, so they’re fine with me not eating or drinking much (not a big drinker anyway).

So…I went with the golden dose! It was easier to extract than I expected—no blunt needle drama. Now just nervously waiting to see if there are any side effects.

I did see someone on YouTube say they had bad side effects switching from thigh to stomach—apparently absorption’s quicker in the stomach. I usually jab in my stomach, so I’ve tried the thigh this time. Now just waiting to see how it goes…!

Lostfirsttimebuyer · 07/05/2025 17:29

Non scale victory 😃My usually too tight and digging in work trousers are falling down slightly at the waist! I am in shock.

I think it is helping slightly with my weight blindness because there is a big part of me that is convinced I look exactly the same and cannot have lost any weight and that I must have written down the number on the scales incorrectly every single day when I first weighed in, because how I look now is exactly how I thought I already looked.

I cannot imagine that a month ago I had an extra stone on me than I have now. So seeing my trousers now is actually helpful in confirming to myself that yes, I really have lost weight, and this really is working, and I need to keep going until I am a healthy weight again. I still have plenty left to lose.

I think it does not help that out of denial, I had not weighed myself for years, so I honest to God believed that I was 3 stone lower than I was, having been in denial about just how many pounds I had piled on over the years. Jeez the human psyche is an interesting thing. 😆

Ofcoursehesthefkingfarmer · 07/05/2025 18:17

Sorry it’s been done to death but where are people buying medical grade syringes from please for the extra dose?
