@WeAllHaveWings I have been using a small amount of Nizoral anti fungal shampoo to wash that area, which has been a problem since I had a caesarean 28 years ago to be honest but seems worse lately. I have noticed a big improvement so now think it may have been exacerbated by a fungal infection. I saw an advert for a Sure all over body antiperspirant that you could use on any area so might be worth a try.

alltablenochairs · 01/05/2025 18:01

TMI here!

Last year I got horrible intertrigo under my boobs and stomach fold. I was absolutely convinced I could smell it even through clothing. So I got a cheap pack of baby muslin cloths, folded one of them up and used that.

I also find substantial pants help as there is enough fabric to....... tuck under the folds as well. Innersy pants on Amazon to be precise (or Temu/Ali express if you match the photos). Be warned, they are absolutely enormous but the time for me wearing skimpy little things is in the past. The most comfy pants I have ever worn.

@Darlinghag I haven't overheated yet either which is a nice surprise. Long may it last.

WeAllHaveWings · 01/05/2025 18:06

Interesting @Evenstar .... and I have Nizoral shampoo already (using with minoxidil try to improve hair).... might give that a go and see if it improves things

@MooBaggage I get reactions to Mitchum for some reason. No idea why!

@InfoSecInTheCity I'll have a look at chafing sticks as I guess it is the skin on skin that is causing the issue. No idea such a thing existed!

WeAllHaveWings · 01/05/2025 18:14

@alltablenochairs I have many substantial pants, don't think I have been in anything but full briefs for the last decade or two 🤣 and I refuse to buy too many interim sizes if I'll need to size down again so I am in size 18 (nearly 16) jeans and size 20-22 pants! It going to be mortifying if I am ever in an accident and taken to hospital 🤣

Tucking is an idea, most of them are not cotton which I guess would be best, I'll have a look!

Hotflushesandchilblains · 01/05/2025 18:30

Weigh in today - 106.2! So 3kg down in 3 weeks, I am thrilled. Not having massive cravings, concentrating on getting good nutrition, so really pleased. I have to to my waist measurement next, keep putting it off! The only cloud is that my pen would not go all the way to the full dose today, so have injected what it would give me. I guess I messed it up somehow.

Evenstar · 01/05/2025 18:35

@WeAllHaveWings I always tuck my pants under and that is helpful too. I have a mixture of cotton and M & S Good Move which they don’t seem to have any more but are moisture wicking fabric which keeps the area drier.

I saw these the other day, but at that price I wouldn’t invest until I had reached goal weight if it is still a problem then https://www.missmary.co.uk/gb/freedom-skin-relief-panty

@WeAllHaveWings I have had an apron for sometime that can get a bit sticky/sweaty when I don’t look after it.

Obvs wash it every day and keep it nice and clean. I also apply sudocreme every 7-10 days and it keeps it dry and clean.

QueenOfHiraeth · 01/05/2025 20:55

@alwaysscared Is it Oushk you are waiting for a consultation with? If so I have seen people say you can often speed things up by Whatsapping them or messaging somehow.
I was in their support group but, oddly, seem to not be in it now. Not sure what has happened there (I don't think I have misbehaved to go get kicked out!)
I use Ashcroft Pharmacy and they have a MJ dedicated helpline so don't know if they could help

alwaysscared · 01/05/2025 21:04

@QueenOfHiraeth it’s Curate I have used. I spoke to a customer support person earlier and she was really helpful and has sent the prescribers an urgent message to contact me. Will see how it goes

I've just been doing some handweights stuff (whilst watching the snooker 😃) and wanted to pass on something that is really helping my lower B belly..!

I use 3kg handweights and stand with one in each hand - arms straight and at my sides and then just push my arms backwards, towards my bum. Feels really good and feels like it's tightening my apron area after a few of them!

Thought I'd pass it on, just in case you've got handweights and want to give it a go.

I've just ordered 5kg handweights and am feeling very 💪💪💪

I use Jock Itch Extreme Balm for Women under the overhang which works well for me.

Arglefraster · 02/05/2025 01:17

I was just going to reorder with Oushk but have they changed their delivery options? It says you have to sign for /Royal Mail won't leave in a safe place but that's always how I've used them in the past.
(& the site has chucked my basket out so yet again I need redo...)

Of course I can't see the possible delivery dates until I'm at check out again 🤦🏻‍♀️

WeAllHaveWings · 02/05/2025 08:27

@MooBaggage

I have been trying this with ds's old 2kg weights as an easy beginner one (it is short, just 12 minutes so I can do in my lunch break. It has some where she is pushing arms back too. I keep asking dh to search in the loft for the 3kg ones as I couldn't find them.

The only ones I don't think I would be able to do with 3kg yet are the ones where she raised her arms out from the sides (that one hurts my neck, trying to work out the right technique!), but I could swap weight between exercises.

I think stepping up to heavier weights is better than more reps/time, will work on more reps once I get more comfortable with heavier weights.

InfoSecInTheCity · 02/05/2025 08:38

Just doing my 5 min cool down walk after jogging for 25 mins solid. Week 6 C25K completed.

I need to dust off my dumbbells and start doing some arm and should exercises more often. My legs are strong and looking nice and toned except the very top of my inner thighs but my arms are very flappy.

WeAllHaveWings · 02/05/2025 08:39

I noticed it was a bit strange yesterday, they do seem to struggle with their webpage sometimes.

There was only options for DPD and Royal Mail Shipping (doesn't need signed for). There is usually an option for Royal Mail Recorded (needs signed for) which is what they refer to in the comment.

But as the Royal Mail Shipping was only £2.99 (usually £6.99 with recorded at £7.99) I just went for it to save myself another £4! 🤣 (I can be home anyway if it needs signed for)

Do you have the current discount for £20 off? Think it expires today/tomorrow.

Thank you! This why I shouldn't be trying to do things in the middle of the night- I'll arrange for a day there should be someone in but hope they've just been unclear. I do have that code thanks - I just miss the Facebook ones I think.

i was also confused by the RM shipping being cheap!

Darlinghag · 02/05/2025 09:21

@WeAllHaveWings i dont have any issues with my apron belly tbh, I am very lucky i think. I haven’t had kids though.

i do however use antibacterial body wash under there (whatever i find on amazon!). I also use mitchum - i know you said you react but i would try the different types, my sister can only use the spray without issue so maybe one will work!

i’ve always been told the biggest factor in keeping problems at bay is dryness, so i am religious about drying properly there, towel and then cool setting of my hairdryer! I don’t apply anything else or tuck underwear etc but i also don’t have sensitive skin in the general sense so i think it remains luck on that front!

SilenceInside · 02/05/2025 09:59

Week 43 weigh in.

SW: 139kg (21st 12 lbs)
CW: 88.8kg (13st 13lbs), was 88.1kg (13st 12lbs) last week.
GW: 81kg (12st 11 lbs) fifth interim goal

Current pen: 7.5mg, 33 weeks on this dosage.

So, a 1 pound or so gain 😥. Not what I was hoping for! No idea why I've not lost this week, as nothing has changed in terms of diet and I started Couch to 5K this week too. Which means more exercise than usual. A bit of a disappointing puzzler.

CanIGoHomeNowPlease · 02/05/2025 10:24

Week 18 weigh in

SW 20st 5lbs
CW 17st 0.6lbs
GW 12st 7lbs

Current pen: 7.5mg 6 weeks on this dosage

7.5mg seems to be my current happy spot. Excellent noise reduction and suppression for the first half of the week and the manageable increase in huger and noise Tues, Wed & Thurs. Super happy that I've had a loss but really wanted to pop down into 16 stone bracket. Never mind, I will next week!

I've been thinking about getting a weighted vest. Does anyone have one of these?
Weird NSV of the day.... I can now see my ear lobes - how weird is that. I hadn't realised that I couldn't see them. I'd taken my diamond studs out and not worn earrings for about 3 years but I may well put them back in. I'm even considering getting another piercing.

InfoSecInTheCity · 02/05/2025 10:54

What size bra would you order based on these measurements?
under boob - 34inches
around fullest bit (when the spaniels ears are scooped back into place) - 40 inches

last time I measured for a bra the under boob measurement was 43inches. I do not know where to start and every online calculator offers different suggestions but the sports bra I dug out of the back of my wardrobe is shamefully baggy in the cups and the size has washed off so I’m in dire need.

VelociraptorsVelociRapping · 02/05/2025 11:12

@InfoSecInTheCity you'll need to take a couple more measurements but I have always really rated the Boob or Bust calculator: https://www.booborbust.com.

Arglefraster · 02/05/2025 11:32

Amazing NSV @CanIGoHomeNowPlease🤣 would never have imagined that one for the life of me!

My lower B belly isn't really floppy enough yet for real problems but it definitely overhangs. I tend to make sure I do a quick standing wash after any walk/a hot day (& do like a pair of fresh pants!) & so long as I use soap all is well. My stupidly useless skin peels off very readily otherwise & sometimes does it just for fun anyway🫠
I'm desperately hoping for some kind of skin miracle at some point - hopefully exercise induced autophagy includes excess skin!

Silence I'm sure you know more exercise means more repairs /glycogen stores to replenish which all means temporary increase fluid retention. It will go! congrats on the running!

WeAllHaveWings · 02/05/2025 13:11

@VelociraptorsVelociRapping I find the bravissimo one is fairly/but not 100% accurate - it gets you to do the band, bust and "dangling" 🤣 measurements. Put the measurements in and comes back with a size. I would try the size they recommend, but also one band down and one cup/band down. I always prefer to get bands that I can just hook up on the first set of hooks so the other hooks are there when the bra gets a bit stretched from use.

I always order a few sizes to try at home and return the rest.

Oh good god, ‘dangling’ that’s a new measurement for sure. Will get the tape measure back out after work and prepare myself for the horror.

Darlinghag · 02/05/2025 17:56

I second boobs or bust!!

i used to always wear a large back/low cup. With my losses and the correct measurements I am not a 36G!! But it fits and is comfy, and my boobs look good in clothes!!
