New thread for those who started in January 25. 3 months in and we're still going strong 💪

1lb off this week after STS last week. Plenty of water, tracking calories and good on my protein but still very little loss. This is my third 5mg pen and I’ve only lost 4.4lbs in the past 4 weeks.

SW 15.10
CW 13.5.3
GW 9.10

I think this is ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ instalment of the weight loss saga - my body is holding on to every ounce for dear life! Just completed my medication questionnaire and so I’ll see what the next pen brings.

Onward, downwards and crossing my fingers for The Return of the Jedi!

Love hearing about everyone’s Vinted purchases! It’s been such a game changer for me.

I think I am stuck in a plateau. I’ve been going up and down the same couple of lbs for almost 3 weeks now which is really frustrating as I’m almost in the 9st range. A few days ago the scales moved slightly and showed 10st 0.2 but now I’ve gone back up again 🥲

Starting my second 7.5 pen today. Hopefully things start moving soon.

MananaPenelope · 08/05/2025 08:34

@meatyryvita I’m only losing a pound a week. 🐢 even after my whoosh. Forgot to say thank you to whoever posted about the calendar in shoty. I’m on my phone so can’t see the post but I’ll have a look.

Great NSVs 🤩.

I’m struggling to find clothes I want to wear atm, weather, weight, slightly too big, slightly too small, it’s all going on here!

DGonMJ · 08/05/2025 09:09

Morning all, have taken the day off work to spend with a friend. Have done my dumbbells session - chose an intermediate routine instead of a beginners and it was tough, had to reduce the reps, but I did the whole thing 💪

Had a quick mid-week check in on the body comp scales - down to 32% body fat, still in the red zone. 0.1% lower to get into ‘acceptable’.

Jins · 08/05/2025 09:23

Well I’ve had an overnight whoosh of 1lb. It’s almost like my body finally understands that we mean business. Let’s hope it stays off for weigh in tomorrow.

Just 8 days till my holiday now and I’m going to have to decide what to do about my one piece swimsuit. It’s not going to be straightforward to take in at the sides but not impossible. Alternatively I’ve found an old training suit that fits but it’s not the look for sitting round the pool. Additionally the strap marks will be dreadful.

edited to give congratulations to all the NSVs and SVs

Official weigh day tomorrow, but after my wobble on Monday (and thank you for the reassuring replies), today the scales have moved to 12.05 which is exactly 3 stone loss.

I can’t wait to see the 11stone numbers on the scales!

HeavyHeidi · 08/05/2025 09:48

Another problem now - several pairs of my shoes are too big! Some falling off and one pair of sneakers I found super comfortable before now gave me blisters.

Polkadotdash · 08/05/2025 09:59

@HeavyHeidi the shoe thing is bonkers. It was one of the things that pushed me to lose weight. My sister is the same shoe size as me but about half my weight. I tried to put on a pair of her Birkenstocks and the setting she had them on was so tight I couldn’t get my fat foot in.

Polkadotdash · 08/05/2025 10:00

I had another weigh in this morning as I comfort ate all day yesterday stressing about my looming surgery. I’ve lost two pounds. How is that even possible???

Aimingdown · 08/05/2025 10:08

Week 17, currently on 7.5
SW 80kg
CW 67.8kg
GW tbd, around 60kg

67.8 kg this morning, first time I’ve seen a 67 for many years! I’ve realised that daily weighing suits me, I find it less stressful as I’m aware that fluctuations happen so I like this better than building up to a big weekly weigh.

That makes 12kg since mid-Jan which is slightly slower than I had imagined when I started but actually absolutely fine and I don’t feel like I’ve lost muscle or stamina. I also bought a size 12 dress last week that fitted perfectly with no obvious bulges, it helps that the bras that had become a ‘bit’ tight now fit again. I picked up a 12kg kettle bell in the gym this morning and imagined carrying it around all day. Still looking at the bingo wings with horror though.

Well done to everybody, we’re getting there!

Hi girls - need help.

My Supplier is late sending me my jab. I'm due to start 12.5mg on Sunday. If I can't jab until Wednesday or Thursday - is this a big deal?

And how do I get back to normal jabbing on a Sunday? Would rather keep it on a Sunday so would need to get back!

Thanks
