Welcome to thread 2 never thought we would be posting so much that we have to start a new thread.

I am still hovering around 12 and a half stone. I have been absolutely freezing to the point I have a duvet on the sofa.

I have had one NSV so far I can zip up my boots and they do not feel tight anymore.

Day 7 (jabbing tonight) and I weighed this morning as I’m weighing daily, and I have lost a total of 6.6lbs this week! I did not expect that! I know most of it will be water weight, but I have noticed my wedding and engagement ring have got a lost looser this week so I’m definitely losing some inflammation/bloating.

And to top it off, I’ve been paid today and the substitution pay I’m owed for acting up to cover my manager for Nov/Dec has finally been paid after months of me chasing - nice little lump sum! I’d planned to save most of it when it came through but I do need some more gym/running clothes and wfh clothes (more stylish but comfy leggings and tops etc), and I have a 60th birthday party for a family member in 3 weeks which I need an outfit for, so I’d planned to use some for that. I’m now wondering whether to hold off on buying them! I’m a size 16 but a loose 16 in some clothes so don’t want to buy myself new things now for them to potentially be too big in a few weeks (even if I continue to lose 2lbs a week from now) that’s 10lbs by the time I need an outfit for the party!

SW: 15st 1.5lbs
CW: 14st 8.9lbs

Poor you @soupforbrains .

I’m week 2 and nausea has been an issue this week. It’s my day off work today and I’ve just woken up feeling hungry, sick and very very full all at the same time. It’s very odd.

I'm week 1 but identify all that you're saying. Hungry with food aversions and not eating much

It’s brilliant that there are so many of us on this thread!

I ordered the eufy scales that have been mentioned lots on this Weight Loss Injections board and they are great. Easy to connect to my phone and give loads of stats so I can see how I’m doing on other things as well as just weight, like visceral fat. I didn’t even know it was a thing, let alone that it could be measured at home, but as the prompt for me to lose weight was the dr telling me I had a fatty liver I thought it would be good to monitor it myself.

Annoying thing is that they are calibrated differently and weigh 3lbs heavier than my old scales! Gutted that my stats look like I’ve put on 3lb overnight when I think this week I might have lost 3. Weigh day tomorrow.

Unbelievable lack of appetite since Weds, jab 4 was Friday night and I ordered another 2.5 because it seems to have all of a sudden gained momentum. Fingers crossed it continues!

My juniper scales weigh me about 3lbs heavier than my salter bathroom scales! If I switch the the salter ones and log it I’ll always know it wasn’t a true loss, but no idea which is right…

Fairislesweater · 24/03/2025 17:26

im halfway though week 3 and suppression was so strong this weekend I really didn’t eat enough. Also quite acidy so was hard to force myself. I’ve felt off all day today and very tired so wondering if I’m in need of pre food. Have lost 7lb so far - only a lb over the last week but had an unexpected period last week so not sure if that scuppered things

Elfie23 · 24/03/2025 17:30

Hi everyone 👋
My first pen is due to arrive tomorrow - eeek!
Half excited half anxious - I seem to have an incredibly slow digestive system so a bit worried I’m going to end up very bunged up (I don’t 💩 v often, maybe 2/3 times a week 🙈) other than that really hoping for some good results.

Height 5ft 8

GW 11st 8 (will put me into healthy weight range according to NHS BMI checker)

Week 1, day 3 and some of the food noise is back after miraculously disappearing! But still not much appetite and a couple of times when I've felt hungry I've had water and that was what I needed.

I had a tiny lunch out with family, and four hours later I still feel completely full. It's crazy! It's like a miracle. Talking to my aunt who said she often doesn't feel hungry and only wants small portions - before this week I would have found that incomprehensible. Now I'm like, yes! Is this what it is to eat like a normal person?

I hope the 2.5 is enough of a dose for me going forwards but it's early days so I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Had some very mild side effects, mostly on day 1. Hoping this works for me as I have a lot to lose!

Has anyone bought spare needles/syringes from UK Medi? Would you mind sharing a link if so? I definitely want to get the golden dose if I can (assuming all still going well by then!)

Lollzi86 · 24/03/2025 21:30

Am now back after a few days away abroad on holiday and dreading weighing tomorrow! Tried my very best not to go mad, mainly stuck to vodka and diet soda if I had alcohol, did have a couple of beers and wines but nothing like I would normally. But food wise I have definitely eaten more than I would have if not on holiday, although tried to be mindful and not eat bread etc. we will see as I definitely feel heavier than last Thursday! Will jab at 10 and then go to bed and pray 😂

ItsShowtime · 24/03/2025 22:05

Hi all, happy to be joining the March starters. I had my first jab on Friday evening.

I nearly put it off until this week due to work but so glad I didn’t as not actually feeling much change yet. Been reading loads and know that it might take a while to have an effect.

I weigh myself in kg as the numbers don’t mean as much to me.

SW: 97.5kg
GW: 75kg (but flexible with that)

Been great to read how everyone is doing.

Never weigh after a holiday 🤣 I always leave it a week and weigh on the next weigh day!😉 Life is for enjoying including treats on holiday!

Yeah I’ll try and not take it to heart if it’s a gain which I think inevitably it will be. Actually looking forward to getting on track again tomorrow (although not drank today and had salad for lunch and dinner). Mainly looking forward to it as had terrible heartburn/indigestion over last 2 days which when I was on ‘the diet’ I didn’t have (did used to get heartburn/indigestion quite bad before too) so it’ll be nice to not have that again 😂. I think red meat and alcohol must be my killer as I’ve had both over the weekend which I hadn’t had for 3 weeks. Sad times as I do love a steak and a wine or two 😂

You might be surprised! Even when I used to do WW and had a holiday, my weight never changed. Even when maintaining I was on a deficit and I think it just evened itself out 🤣 one holiday I spent the whole week drinking nothing but baileys all day every day 🤣 No weight gain at all when I got home 💪🏼. Good luck for the weigh in tomorrow and remember if you have gained anything, it’ll come off next week 😉

I'd get started on psyllium straight away. It's made a big difference for me, along with magnesium. Have to take it with plenty of water. I mix a teaspoon into a glass of warm water, and then have another (large) glass of water to follow.

Morning. I started Friday, so far so good although have had side effects. Sulphur burbs last night and diahorrea this morning. I've eaten no foods that would trigger, but I was constipated so took a laxative. All manageable and worth it. I've lost 4 pounds since Friday. Probably water loss

Morning everyone, I had my 1st jab on Sunday and ideally want my jab day to be a Thursday so do you think I will be OK doing my 2nd jab next Tuesday then the 3rd on the Thursday after and it will still be in date to last until the golden dose? It has been in the fridge since it arrived? Feel good this morning and not as belated 😍

Morning guys, 1 week in, 6lbs down...I'm over the moon with that!!
I was calorie counting in January for 6 weeks and managed to lose 3lbs in all that time.

I'm a tad confused and hoping someone can help me please, being part of Team RH, we weigh in lbs. My starting weight last week was 235lbs, which when I converted it online said it was 16st 7lbs.
Todays weight is 229lbs, but when converted is coming up as 16st 3lbs....I cannot get my head around this, please help a girl out....lol

Well done to everyone, there's so many posts but you are all doing amazing!!

It’s because there are 14lb to a stone, so your start weight was 16.78 stone, which is 16st 11lb. 229lb is 16.35 stone, which is 16st 5lb.

Hopefully that makes sense! But basically you have to multiply the decimal after the whole stone amount by 14 to get the total lb

Try not to loose hope on early weigh ins , I check daily and gain weight at the start of the week settle down mid week and loose all last 48 hours before jab.think a lot is water weight these early days as I lost 40% second week completed to first week. Took third jab yesterday and constant hunger but when trying to eat I can’t take more than a few spoons/bites. All fullness etc is gone , a very difeeent week. This is journey for the long run and many don’t loose until further up the doses (I love looking at the August thread as they done 7 months and you can see that this is not a straight line journey)

I know, you are absolutely right! I know I've stayed in calorie deficit this week again (usually 1000 - 1200 ish) so I just need to keep my chin up and push on, its going to come off at some point cos I'm also doing 10k steps most days.

I weighed in again this morning and was the same as yesterday, so only 1lb week loss this week overall. I'm doing my third 2.5 jab this evening and i cant wait because I'm starting to get really hungry and craving yummy snacks. Haven't got that initial fullness anymore at all.

Great idea about the August thread, I had a look last night and it was really helpful.

SW = 10 st 10lb
CW = 10st 5lb so 5lb loss in two weeks

Keep going everyone!!

Choirgirl699 · 25/03/2025 09:03

Thanks for this. Was going to attempt the hard twist but I'd like to know exactly how much I'm injecting as I plan to to go up to 3.75mg on Saturday.

🤞 For us all attempting the bonus dose!

yikesanotherbooboo · 25/03/2025 09:06

Aaagh unsurprisingly my weight has gone up a kilo! I had a busy weekend with four meals out ! Back to calorie counting today

Remember that you're already a lower weight and sometimes it's more difficult to shift large amounts when you don't have loads to lose.

Also, last week I stayed the same for 5 days and then on day 6 I'd lost 1lb and then day 7 another 1lb. Our bodies panic when they see us losing weight and hold on to fat cells until we push through.

You'll get there, 1-2lb weight loss is maintainable.
