Problem is I've been on it for 5 months and she's been on it a month and I haven't told her so it's a bit late now 😬

That's up to you, but she may feel better knowing you have used it and she can ask you for advice.
I've literally told almost everyone I'm close to and work colleagues too in case it helps them too. I think it's great and nothing to hide. If anything it shows you have made action to change etc plus I've lost 1.5 stones and lots have asked me so didn't think there was any point hiding it as its obvious only a diet can't make you lose 1.5 stones in 4 months when you're a size 14 starting off, could never achieve that just through exercise and dieting, I tried it for 5 weeks and lost the same amount as I did on mounjaro for 1 week and it made me even hungrier!

UtterlyQuackers · 25/02/2025 19:49

Anyone use medicine market place?

Pondering ordering my last 15mg from them. (Hopefully!!)

But it is almost March either they will go up or someone will drop their prices! That's what usually happens to me! 😭 🤣

I have, I posted on the previous thread, ir very early in the one. I was very impressed and they were cheaper than most if not all, even with the other sites discounts codes.

I'm just moving over to them now. They've got in touch on WhatsApp and given me the option of a video consultation or (as a current MJ user) uploading a video of me weighing myself, plus the usual ID and picture of the current MJ box.

Thats what I did, just sent a video. Was easy and sorted very quickly!

Not posted for ages but following everyone’s progress and so glad to see some fab results.

I am on week 18, on 5mg, moving up as slowly as I can as I am very sensitive to the drug and want to reduce side effects.

Mounjaro has been beyond incredible for me. I feel free of my obesity struggles which I’ve had since childhood. The relief is incredible. I’ve gone from a size 16 to a 10 which is the slimmest I’ve ever been. Lifting weights at the gym to try to keep muscle tone and really enjoying it. Here’s a graph from Shotsy, too.

Good luck to everyone on this journey!

congratulations! That’s an incredible change!

lickycat · 25/02/2025 21:58

coastergirl · 25/02/2025 12:19

As of this morning I'm 3 stone down! Still a long way to go, but I'm so pleased. Here's my chart.

That graph is giving me immense pleasure. Very straight!

coastergirl · 25/02/2025 22:49

@lickycat ha, me too!

lapuf · 26/02/2025 07:25

Well done maarva
We are the same age/height/goal weight 👯‍♀️

flowerlady2 · 26/02/2025 10:07

Hi all, Just catching up on all your updates. Wow!!
Still plugging away, edging towards -3st but not there yet!

JustKeepsBreathing · 26/02/2025 14:57

Well after my flu-induced whoosh last week I’ve gone up 2 lb in weight but still a loss overall over the past few weeks. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And happy to be feeling better.
Went back up to 6mg dose this week (20th dose) and suppression is back!

Total weight loss is now 3 stone and 2 lbs.
SW 15 stone 1 lb
CW 11 stone 13 lbs
GW 10 stone 3 lbs

Not made it back to the gym yet but hoping next week I’ll feel well enough to go back.

gonna catch up with all the chat now but I’ve seen a few of you have reached goal - MANY CONGRATULATIONS 🥳

littleburn · 26/02/2025 17:02

@UtterlyQuackers I submitted my video to Medicine Marketplace this morning and have just had a video message back from Sham confirming I've been approved and my pen is on its way. Seems a really straightforward process, so I'd order now whilst the February offer is still there!

UtterlyQuackers · 26/02/2025 19:42

@littleburn have just ordered. But on Monj there is a new pharmacy that is £5 cheaper.

UtterlyQuackers · 26/02/2025 20:12

Sham has already messaged me!

lapuf · 27/02/2025 07:57

I had a Technicolor MJ dream this morning Grin I dreamt that I forgot my pen so used my sister's and she hadn't told me she'd moved up to 10mg (I'm still on 5!)
Also my mum in my dream was complaining that she wasn't eligible for the drugs, in non dream world she is the least whingey person ever and weighs less than 8st Hmm

icantgetnosheep1 · 27/02/2025 09:26

Morning all. (Rocking bird) here.. changed my name!

Well.. week 17 complete. Jab day Sunday and now onto week 18.!!

SW: 11.13
CW: 8.13
GW: 8.10 (ish)

Slow and steady to the bitter end it is.. delighted to see the 8's on the scales!!!!!

7.5mg seems to be my dose, I'm not sick and have good suppression. The dreams can be a bit wild but I'm enjoying them 😆

TheBeeGees · 27/02/2025 10:22

I mentioned in one of my previous posts that my GW would put me at BMI 23/24 and was wondering what other people's goals equate to, or if you have even thought about BMI?

I know BMI isn't the greatest metric but I'm not sure what else to use as a longer term monitor? I know I could just say, "I want to stay at 10st 4lb" but it doesn't seem as strong as saying to myself I want to be no more than BMI 24, and I worry I would too easily think, "oh it's only a couple of pounds" if I start to drift upwards and only think about lbs.

For context, I started at BMI 28/29 which I suppose isn't that bad but have underlying issues which mean I need to be careful (Hashimoto's and hypertension for starters).

AnneinEdinburgh · 27/02/2025 10:29

I am on my 2nd week of 10mg. The first wasn't too bad for side effects, but since jabbing the 2nd on Monday I start feeling very rough about 5pm. I am in discomfort, not agony, in my stomach/just below my breastbone, sulpherous brups, nausea and the runs. I don't sleep most of the night. Eating/not eating doesn't seem to make a difference. By the morning I am feeling tired and washed out but fairly ok, then to repeat in the evening. Its done this for the last 2 days, day 2 and 3. Any suggestions very welcome! I have emailed supplier to ask if I should be going back down to 7.5mg.

I don't think I've had a BMI of under 31 as an adult generally it's been above 35 so I don't really know my target, I started this journey with a BMI of 44.7. It turned out that a BMI of 24.1 would mean losing exactly 10st which was a nice round number.

My honest opinion is I'm going to see how I feel when I get closer. In my head I'd like to keep a healthy BMI, I'd like to fit comfortably into size 12 clothes. However I'd also like to live my life so im hoping to increase my exercise level to maintain my target, I've already started doing some strength and HIIT at home, eventually I think I'd like to try running I'm hoping it'll be something I can enjoy with my kids.

My original goal weight was 9st 7 but I've revised that to be a range of 9st-9st 7 (I'm 5'3") so I'm shooting for the lower end as my target and then cap of 9.7. I know that my size 10s fit until around 9.10 Grin

@UtterlyQuackers my pen from Medical Marketplace was delivered this morning. So 24 hours from submitting the video to getting the pen. Pretty impressive!

littleburn · 27/02/2025 15:37

@TheBeeGees I'm officially aiming for 9st 7, which is BMI 24.3, so right at the upper end of healthy. I'm now debating a goal of 9st which would be BMI 23, with the absolute ceiling of never going above 9st 7lb again.

I do find it really hard to gauge though. I have big boobs and bum so will never be at the lower end of a healthy BMI. As an adult I've been as light as 8st, but that was in my late teens and I used to starve myself 🙁. As a 'proper' adult the lightest I've been is 8st 10lb, but that was in my 20s/30s and pre DC. I'm now pushing 50 and in peri! I think the 9st - 9st 7lb range is about right and sustainable for my shape and age, but feel a bit bad that it's still only upper end of healthy.

HansHolbein · 27/02/2025 20:36

@TheBeeGees Wow not long for you to go now! I used to work in weight but I am sort of switching to BMI now. I've decided to get to BMI 21, which is 9st. I'm 5'5 so that should be fine. My lowest adult weight was about 10st and I was nice and slim. Maybe I will have to reassess when I get there? I don't want to stop at just under BMI 25 because that doesn't give me much wiggle room.

@Maarva So happy for you. Relief is a great way to describe it.

@fourquenelles 33lb is amazing! I love your attitude - I wish I gave less of a damn!

@coastergirl 3st! Incredible. Bet you feel great. I just can't believe all this is possible now.

@Mrsmajeeka Gosh that is a fantasic NSV. I can't wait for that day!

@flowerlady2 Not long now! Are you feeling ok?

@JustKeepsBreathing So glad you're feeling better. You're in the 11's lady!

@lapuf Haha! That made me laugh. MJ dreams are wild! I got swallowed by a turtle once... weird.

@icantgetnosheep1 Not long, just a few more pounds. I am sure the last 7lbsish are the hardest. Glad 7.5 is working for you.

@AnneinEdinburgh Oh no you poor thing! I would just eat as simply as possible but even that might now work. This drug is unpredictable at times. Hope you hear back from supplier. Yes, might be worth going down for your next jab.

I know @Losingthetimber & @Fizzleawayyy1 are working away this week, hope they are ok!

No news from me really. I'm 12st 1 and so close to the 11's... Hope I will be there next week. Friday is a day from hell for me as it's by busiest day at work. It always seems to drag as well, even though I am busy. Weird.

Love to all x

Wow, well done. That’s brilliant- you must be thrilled. I’ve gone from 9 back up to 9.2 and then 9.1 so far this week! So, I’m hoping I’ll at least STS by Saturday! I know getting below 9 is going to be tough, slow and steady toward our finish line. Mine is the same as yours. I
cant get no sheep!🤣

icantgetnosheep1 · 27/02/2025 23:05

@EVK it's definitely much harder to get the scales to move isn't it!! I'm drinking water often.. we are nearly there 🙅‍♀️
