The first thread is almost full so here’s a new one ready for the exciting journeys ahead!

Med express didn't ask for evidence of height, you have to take a full length photo and perhaps they have some way of figuring it out! But no measurement evidence needed.

How does everyone store them once used? Is it better in the fridge?

Third jab today.

Week 1 83.4kgs 118cm waist

Hi everyone, I'd like to join! I started last Sunday night so day 5 for me today.

Felt a bit nauseous the first day and had a headache on the second but fine after that. Nice bruise on my leg from the jab though!

I'm the heaviest I've ever been at 14st 8lbs and gained during and after having children, but my youngest child is now 3 so enough is enough. 2025 is the year I sort myself out.

Looking forward to this journey, this week has been good so far with no food noise. Not really suppression, more a lack of interest for me. I'm a snacker/all day grazer of sweet treats and a big coca cola habit, time poor and often rely on takeaways. Have found it odd not having anything to do with my hands at work.

I quit alcohol and cola on new years eve so did a good 5 days without either before my first jab.

Have been swimming once but need to do more, plus not tracking calories yet just focusing on making better choices and including protein.

@Mounjarry thank you for that. I think I'll cancel and go with them instead.

Mines in the fridge. I was concerned it would feel cold going in, but I haven't noticed it at all.

@josephi. I'm really curious how your micro dosing will go, considering even 2.5mg isn't considered a therapeutic dose. Good luck and keep us posted.

@ThisisnotwhatIhadplanned wow that’s amazing, and those measurements are incredible!!! I have just done mine, always forget and ita a great way of tracking progress for those weeks when the scales aren’t moving! You must be so chuffed

@Therealmetherealme @Josephi I'm going to stick at 1.25 since week 1 has gone well and I'll take it from there. It seems some people get quite extreme suppression in the beginning on 2.5 and for others it takes longer to take effect.

I'm in the club. First pen should have been delivered by the time I get home. I'm starting tonight 😬

I did mine at lunch and it wasn't as bad as i thought, was more straightforward and I genuinely didn't feel it! I felt weird after but mainly as I'd been so anxious I think, hoping don't get any side effects but will see.

Wow goes to show we really need to take measurements!

I did first jab at lunchtime! Similar too above I feel weird but I've been anxious and got anxious about the jab so it's more unease/exhaustion from anxiety than a side effect!!

I also braved photos and measurements. I don't plan to do this that often, well at least not the photos but it will show progress I hope. I am so very large 😬

I ordered mine on the 8th and it’s on its way, Royal Mail have emailed to say they have it

I've just ordered my 5mg pen. My third 2.5mg jab is on Sunday. I sneakily stood on the scales today and aslong as I don't ruin it over the weekend, I've lost 8lbs in two weeks which I'm over the moon with.

For those about to take a higher dose. Are you thinking of going straight onto 5mg or are you dabbling with 3.75mg?

Mines sitting next to the wine. It's whispering 'make better choices' whenever I open the fridge. 😂

Im on day 2 and feel similar. I felt quite suppressed yesterday but today I’m really hungry! That said, I have no desire for anything sweet and I’m craving cheese (bizarre as I usually eat vegan food!).
I had soup today but instead of filling the bowl up and getting seconds I only had half a bowl with a protein bagel and was fine.
it’s like I could eat more but it’s really easy not to whereas before I would have to use a ton of willpower.
So weird!
Scales after 1 day say I’m 1.8 kg down which is nice and motivating!

I need to order a new pen as I'm half way through this one. I'm going to go for 5mg but potentially increase more slowly than jumping straight to 5mg.
I don't want to use Asda again as it isn't the cheapest.
Do I just find a new provider and apply? Will they give me 5mg and not make me buy 2.5mg to start?
Any advice from those who have already bought a second pen and changed supplier?

I'm finding the same, wasn't sure if psychological as only the first day but even if it is all good! Haven't been tempted to snack and took me a while to decide what I fancied for dinner whereas usually anything seems appealing!

Does anyone have any grocery must buys? Have an order coming Sunday morning!

I had my first dose last night, it didn’t hurt at all and I didn’t feel any side effects at all. At lunch time today. I had a jacket potato with tuna and salad, as I often do, but couldn’t finish it, I felt uncomfortably full after a while and had to stop. I don’t think I’ve ever not finished a meal in my life! Fully aware this could be a placebo effect, but it’s almost dinner time now and I don’t feel hungry at all. I hope this is a good sign! 🤞

I'm also starting tonight (Friday), expecting package at any moment

I know that my pharmacy asked me to prove that I had previously been prescribed at the 2.5ml level - this was because I tried to order the 5ml dose to start. So as long as you can send them a screenshot of your Asda order I imagine you’ll be fine
