Just weighed at jab day today. So now on W6D1. Stayed on 2.5mg. Still have huge suppression and no desire for any carbs.
Im a bit disappointed as only lost another 1lb (total lost now 12.5lb).
I think I'm not eating enough. Definitely a couple of days last week where I struggled to have 600 cals each day. Although I'm prioritising protein where I can.
I've done a more mindful shop, got Greek yoghurts, chia seeds, some seeded bread etc. I really think my diet isn't helping me lose. (Or complete lack of it anyway).

i also need to start thinking about exercising. I'm definitely losing muscle and feeling weaker. That could also be lack of food though.

W8, D1, 3lb off this week, taking the total to 1st5lb over seven weeks. Also have my period this week, so feeling a bit bloaty.

SW: 273lbs
CW: 254lbs

"Only" 100lbs away from my dream goal weight!

This will be w3 on 5mg, no side effects apart from depressive mood the day after jabbing.

Eating B, L, and D whether I'm hungry or not, and hitting 1700-1800 cals a day.

I had the same thing, the weight I've lost is more than just calorie deficit, it seems to have sorted out what ever was going on in my body that prevented me losing weight.

Last week I was still on 2.5 for a 6th week and it seemed to stop working as it had. I still ate well within calorie levels but actually put on 0.2lb. On Thursday I took 3.75mg and I've lost 2.8lb in 2 days. It's a weird kind of magic but in particular it seems to resolve my water retention issues 😊

Half a kilo off on the scales this week, which feels a bit slow, but that’s silly of me.

Measured my waist and I’ve lost 11cm!! Doing quite a lot of exercise - gym 3x a week plus have lengthened the dog’s walks to get more steps every day.

My belly has shrunk a bit further this week, and my one-size-down-from-when-I-started clothes are fitting much more comfortably around the waist.

There was a less pleasant surprise this week: I was brushing my hair wearing a vest top and caught sight of my upper arms in the mirror. They have never been toned, but the fat had been bulking the shape out a bit. They are now mostly bingo wing. 😬
I'll hopefully need to buy smaller tops for this summer anyway, and at least now I know to be aware of the cut of the sleeves.

Current weight :11st 3

Had 2 pens of 2.5 though did 5 weeks at 2.5, then 2 weeks at 3.75

Have just done my 3rd injection of 5mg and have really bad nausea last week!

Moved my injection day forward a bit, as was on a Sunday. but moved it to a Saturday afternoon so have more time for tummy etc to settle before back at work!

It's great to hear from someone else who is losing slowly too. I'm still on 2.5mg. On W6D1 today and lost 12.5lb so far.

Weigh day for me, having had the 5th "golden dose" at 2.5mg last week. I've definitely felt suppression lessening, and I've also had quite a stressful week so I can feel some stress-eating behaviours creeping back in. I have a 5mg pen ready to go, but don't want potential side effects to hamper me this week (though I've only really had a hardening of stools - sorry, TMI!), so I think I'm going to try to do a 3.75mg dose tonight by counting clicks.

That said, I lost a further 2lb this week so I'm still pretty happy! 1st 2lb loss over 5 weeks, if I continue to lose 2lb a week I'll be grand, it definitely beats all the weighing and measuring from Slimming World last time I did something like this.

Bit disappointed to stay flat this week but I know from daily weighing how much it varies day on day. I've had less appetite suppression this week on 5mg and I've had a couple of meals out- didnt eat like I would pre MJ but still probably more calories than I should. Also trying to get more protein in and struggling a bit with that. Only major side effect has been veering between constipation and an upset tummy. Spent all of one day trying to poo and the whole of the next day trying not to 😂😂😂

I bought a walking pad and have been jumping on it when watching Netflix etc but also suppression has been good. I did however eat a brownie

That is incredible at this stage in the process isn't it 😊 the thing to remember is you're allowed a brownie if you want one, otherwise you'll build up a feeling that you're denying yourself and then fall off the wagon. Nothings band, eat the thing you want, but if it's high calorie then do it mindfully, really enjoy it and let it satisfy you without guilt, knowing that it is one small pleasure in a healthy week. I hope it was a good brownie 😊

It was a great brownie and I feel less stressed about the final treat now.

annoyingly I don’t know my exact starting weight as I was too frightened to weigh, but I think around 15 stone 8
I’m now 14, 5

goal I’m not completely sure. Around 10 stone but may be half a stone over or under, so still a long way to go

I'm glad you're less stressed about it now 😊 I think denying all treats will make maintaining harder, I'm glad you ate something you enjoyed as it will mean that this weight loss can be sustained 😊

week 6 for me, 2nd 5mg dose taken today. I had really good suppression on 2.5 for the first 2/3 weeks then it started to disappear. I thought starting 5mg would help but haven’t had much suppression at all, although food noise has been less on both doses. Gutted that I’ve to wait another few weeks to start on 7.5. Anyone else have this issue? My loss has still been good, but down to mostly will power!

Oops posted too soon. I rejoined the gym last week so have been to a couple of boxercise and body pump classes. I’ve been making an effort to eat decent amount of protein as well to help with satiety. Emthenutritionist on instagram has some decent high protein meals I’ve enjoyed - the pre prepped breakfast muffins and egg bagels have been helpful as that’s when I struggle to have protein normally. Have also enjoyed the banana protein pancakes from Aldi with some banana blueberry and agave syrup and a dollop of skyr. Fulfill protein bars are amazing too I’m a bit addicted to the white chocolate and peanut putter one, normally hate the texture of protein bars.

My gym leggings are a bit loose now so I’ve ordered the size down - only XL instead of XXL but it feels good! Sweaty Betty power gym, which are very good and have an XXL which works for 18/20.

That’s made me think actually. Now that I’m heading down into size 16, more brands will be opening up. But even so I don’t think I want to buy from anyone who doesn’t do at least an 18/20. Not going to suddenly move my loyalty away from brands that notice bigger women. Am surprised to realize how strongly I feel about this.

Yes, I'm in my mid 50's, happily haven't had a period for about 18 months and this week have had a light period which has completely freaked me out. WTF is it doing? I have a doc appointment next week and will raise it with her but Christ I don't want periods back!

I'm wk 8 or 7 can't quite recall and down 7kg on 3.75 which I'm happy with. Am intending to lose another 10kg. I'm currently away in Melbourne some friends and a bit bored by the constant boozy food consumption. Am turning into a bit of a party pooper, big pub dinners just don't ring my bells anymore.
