@lapuf - yes - that makes sense and I need to find a happy medium - I’m so all or nothing and that’s part of what I need to let go of! Today I had two boiled eggs (probably -I’ll be coming constipated tomorrow!) and spinach from Pret for my lunch rather than wrap or something carbie! It seems that more places are beginning to catch on so not quite such a nightmare if you’re out and about.

I am away with work for two nights and plan on having at least two Pret Italian chicken salads (also the dark chocolate almonds)
But their rhubarb lemonade has me drooling at the thought of it, maybe just the one day after a chunk of cheddar or nuts to balance the blood sugar

@Fizzleawayyy1 thank you, I'm much better. I think it was possibly a combination of the move to 12.5, and alcohol 😔 Wine is my big weakness and unfortunately MJ hasn't stopped it yet. Since the weekend though, I've forced myself to stay away from it. If I'm going to have awful two day hangovers, it's really not worth it. Just a struggle reminding myself of that in the moment though.

I'm only just approaching halfway to target, so not time to be thinking about it yet, but I really don't want to come off this drug because of the miraculous effects on my IBS!

@coastergirl do you find your tolerance is down? I can still drink five nights out of seven but only one glass (or two at the most) so a bottle is lasting 3/4 days

@EVK Amazing NSV and I can’t wait to have that problem! Know what you mean about the buts and what-ifs. I have a couple of tents I am holding on to at the moment. I’m so close to the 11st bracket now… maybe this actually will work?!

@coastergirl Sorry you’re struggling a bit with the wine. I have noticed that if I do have some I can’t have much because I feel like utter shit the next day. So glad it’s working wonders for your IBS.

Hi, I wondered if anyone has ever gone up to 10mg and NOT found the appetite suppression stronger? I'm on 7.5mg and didn't notice any difference to 5mg. Hoping 10mg will make more impact.

Are you not getting good suppression? My suppression has been consistent as I move up doses, ie it hasn’t reduced. 10 is the strongest, and I’m staying on this dose, as it is constant 24/7 but enough to eat and get hungry for meals.

7.5 v 5, wasn’t much difference, but it kept it consistent, as if I’d stayed on 5, it would have reduced/stopped. If that makes sense.

I didn't notice any difference from 2.5-5mg dose but I did notice 5mg-7.5mg but i think that's because i stayed on 5mg for 2 pens and it started waning towards the end.
I'm not yet on 10mg though.

@BigTightropeWalker 10mg is my magic dose, so it seems. Suppression all week. No food noise on day 5&6. No side effects. Really happy with it.

Hi all, Can anyone advise? Just did dose 4 of 7.5 one. I primed fine , fully extended the pen to get the 1 showing in the window but whilst it turned to be fully extended I didn’t get the 1 in the window. I injected anyway - anyone else had this? I don’t know I’d have got the full dose?

If you didnt see the 1 then I would assume the pen wasn't fully extended and you never got the full dose.
Its only fully extended when you see the 1.

Not sure if you eat fish but I sometimes get the tuna nicoise for a non bread based lunch when I’m working. It’s pretty good although I do find it’s a bit stingy with the portions of things like the salad items! I think it’s something like 4 slices of cucumber -
come on mate, stick a few more in there ffs!

Thanks @Losingthetimber - good to know 10mg is good suppression for you. My suppression is okay but I’d expected a little stronger. I could eat a lot more tonight if I let myself and am craving chocolate (injection day tomorrow).

Thanks @Fizzleawayyy1 - interesting that you noticed such a difference between 5 and 7.5 as I don’t think I really did.

@TheChosenTwo I don't eat fish (I should!) but the Italian chicken is so good that I can have it on consecutive days. I know it has anchovy in the Caesar dressing but I can ignore it

shame though, it’s a decent salad in terms of nutrition.

Thanks, yes I think you’re right. I topped up with 1mg with an insulin needle last night because I’m heading in to the 10mg pen zone next so if I’m slightly over I think it will be fine.

I'm a few weeks behind you all but maybe someone could help...

This is the last week of my 7.5mg pen and I've had horrendous diarrhoea . Never had it before with any other injections

I'm due to take my next injection on Tuesday , shall I reduce the dose?

When I had a similar experience I delayed injecting by a day or two so wasn’t as much MJ in my system. I also lowered the dose as was worried about it happening again. Happened to me out of the blue as well.
