You're only a week in though and we aren't even on the therapeutic dose yet, so it's very early for a total reset. I think it'll come.
I tested myself with a chocolate orange yesterday as I'd normally binge a whole one in a sitting. I had 5 pieces, enjoyed them all and didn't feel short changed. That feels like eating behaviour that could further evolve well on my 'weight loss journey' 🤢

I don’t think I’ve ever not eaten a whole chocolate orange. That’s impressive.

This is why I’ve failed previously on diets… one week in and I’m annoyed I’m not skinny yet 🙈🙄

Amen to the chocolate orange.. didn’t realise it wasn’t a serves one portion 🤪

lovealongbath · 24/11/2024 14:14

This is week 2 for me.
On week 1, on the Sunday, my back was sore, on the Monday, my back was very sore. It eased off, never thought anymore of it.
on week 2, out of no where, my back is sore again today.
I am wondering if this is a side effect. Anyone else getting back pain for a couple of days?

LilyRose88 · 24/11/2024 14:16

I've gone right off chocolate which is amazing as before MJ I could happily eat a sharing bag of Revels plus a sharing bag of large chocolate buttons! I'm hoping that I break the habit completely whilst on MJ and retrain my brain to eat normally and not binge on chocolate. It's jab day today, week 3 on 2.5mg. So far I've lost 6lbs in 2 weeks which I am happy with.

My back is also very sore. Sat with a hot water bottle at the min. But then I've had a cold and have been coughing and sneezing a lot so could be that? Either way I'm in agony!

Me too! I assumed it was as a result of the new exercise regime…

MrsMcvities · 24/11/2024 14:29

Oh weird, I’ve also had lower back ache but never thought it could be linked.

“It’s not Terry’s, it’s mine” 😂

The adverts did this to us! I took my kids for a hot chocolate the other day, they both got a chocolate orange HC and I didn’t want one and I didn’t even sneak their little pieces they get with them 😂 life changing

ExtraOnions · 24/11/2024 15:24

W2 D2 .. second jab yesterday .. I have this mild feeling of nausea quite a lot of time, it’s not bothering me that much, but, I would prefer it to stop.

my BMI is now under 50, which I’m very pleased about

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 24/11/2024 15:33

W2D4 today and I’ve been staying with PIL over the weekend. I have eaten so much food. It’s ridiculous how hard it is to turn down home-cooked food that someone else has spent time making! Clearly my urge to be polite outweighs everything else. I feel utterly bloated today. Plan to eat nothing else all day, which won’t be a hardship as we had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast followed by a full Sunday lunch. It was all delicious but I so didn’t need it. No scales available so haven’t weighed since Friday morning. I will be very surprised if I haven’t gone up, though!

Hundredthmillionthdiet · 24/11/2024 15:37

Anyone did their week 4 2.5mg injection and feel like it's not working ?

I took mine yesterday and just wanted to eat shite all day, and i did.

I was going to use my 2.5mg for week 5 but thinking its probably pointless

Gettingbysomehow · 24/11/2024 15:52

Ive had a whole tube of pringles in the kitchen for 3 weeks. I havent opened them. Before Id have eaten the entire tube.

Whattodowithaminute · 24/11/2024 15:57

@Caffeinequeen91 are you drinking enough water? I’ve had a couple of headaches and normally resolved with extra fluids

I’m half way through my 3rd and can feel it wearing off.

I’ve felt hungry this week, which is disappointing.

random223 · 24/11/2024 16:24

I did my 3rd week weigh in today. 4th 2.5mg due tonight. I have lost two more pounds (12 ib total!) which is great but have promised myself a mini treat for my first stone that I was hoping to buy in black Friday sale so am feeling a bit unreasonably disappointed. Giving my head a wobble!

LilyRose88 · 24/11/2024 16:35

@random223 buy yourself the treat! 12 lbs is an amazing weight loss. I have just ordered myself a gold skirt in a size down from my usual size as a treat. I'm sure it will fit me soon even if it is a bit snug when it arrives. I don't know how much weight you want to lose, but a many of the large weight losses are by people who have a lot of weight to lose.

Bellavida99 · 24/11/2024 16:51

notmassif · 24/11/2024 09:45

@Bellavida99 - use this site to see a list of prices https://monj.co.uk/

MedExpress gets a lot of mentions in here however it's pot luck if someone uses your code and whilst the price match is good, it's off your next order.

I switched to IQ Doctor - they are the cheapest on that list and were as efficient as MedExpress.

However please NOTE you need your prescription so please take a photo of the box your pen comes in each time so you can provide proof along with photos.

Really helpful thanks I’ll take a look at price list and at iq doctor

Apple2310 · 24/11/2024 16:58

Hi everyone,

I’ve just done my 3rd jab today. I’m at 9lbs loss. Seems low compared to some people. Im pleased with the appetite suppression so far. I’ve just ordered my next set of jabs. I’m hoping and praying I can loose significant weight. Happy to be sharing my journey with everyone here and it’s really helpful reading people’s experiences :-)

I bought a chocolate orange for my Christmas treat yesterday and I haven't thought about it once! Normally it wouldn't have lasted the bloody afternoon!

I am amazed at I'll at how my mind just leaves me alone about food. It my favourite thing.

That’s great progress, well done! Seeing the numbers move makes such a difference

WeakAsIAm · 24/11/2024 18:04

@Hundredthmillionthdiet

I'm W4 D5 I used my bonus dose to up to 3.75mg as I was running out of suppression on the last 2 days.
I hoped it would help complete the week for me but I'm hungry today.
I'm going to take 3.75mg on my next injection I've got my 5mg pen in the fridge ready to go but it's only the worry about side effects that's stopping me from going straight up.
On other posts longer term users are splitting their dose; for example taking 2.5 on day 1 then 2.5 on day 4 to keep the suppression going. I may look at doing this if I can't manage a full week without running out of steam.
The issue for me is I've never lost food noise; I think about food all the time so I'm running on suppression and then willpower (determination not to waste my money) alone by the end of the week.

I used the extra left in the pen to top up my week 4 dose (which also helps me adjust to the jump to week 5 5mg). I do think this has helped a bit. My suppression has been very low since the start.
