Iv just ordered Mounjaro and waiting for it to be delivered.

Iv been trying to look at old threads throughout the months to see how people are getting on and looking for before and after pictures.

I wondered if anyone would be happy to share their weight loss and length of time it took them to achieve that amount.

Height:
Start weight:
End weight:
length of time:

Before and after pics a bonus!

and yes, I know we all lose at different rates etc but it’s always good other peoples successes!

Oh it'll fly by! It's very achievable with the support of MJ - prepare to be amazed!

I started on exactly the same weight as you OP in June and now 3 months later I am 13.7
My initial goal is 12.8 as that's what I was pre pregnancy but ideally would like to lose a little bit more. I just need to be realistic about a weight that is sustainable long term for me.

Have you dropped many dress sizes?

Started end of April
Starting weight 13.5
Current weight 10.5

Best thing I ever did. I've had a few moments where k have needed to be close
To a toilet and I do find the fatigue hard but I'm so much happier in myself and to be honest it's taken very very little effort

Oblomov24 · 07/10/2024 20:19

I had no idea that so many people were taking this to lose a few stone, who weren't that overweight to start with.

Chumpfriend · 07/10/2024 20:21

I’m 5’7” and was 15 and a half st.
Started June and have lost just about 2st. Feel so much better and has been largely side effect free.
Told absolutely no one and no one has even noticed or commented 😂
Another 2st might do it? 🤷‍♀️

I think most people here would be in the obese category based on BMI.
I was a size 18 - not enormous I agree but definitely not healthy.

Dogzillah · 07/10/2024 20:25

My start weight was 11st 9 and after 3 weeks I'm 11 stone. It's incredible!

ChungKing · 07/10/2024 20:30

I’m a few days into my fifth eel and I’ve already lost 17 pounds! Have about four stone to lose in total so that’s pretty amazing!

Alwaystired23 · 07/10/2024 20:31

I'm 5ft 8, staring weight 17 stone, today my weight was 16st 6, I'm only 2 weeks in.

greencrab · 07/10/2024 20:33

Height: 172cm
Start weight: 102.8kg/16st 2.3
End weight: 81.5kg/ 12st 11lb
length of time: beginning May- end Sept

My BMI dropped from 34 to 26.9. as it was alt and quickly I'm just trying to maintain it now and also maintain the lifestyle changes (gym/diet/generally more active). I have good muscle mass according to the fact pants scales so didn't really lose muscle, but greatly decreased my visceral fat.
My highest ideal weight for height is apparently 77kg according to NHS.

You can have Mounjaro with a BMI of 27 if you have two associated health issues such as HBP and pre/diabetes. Otherwise you need to have a higher BMI. I think it would be very hard to get Mounjaro for example if you didn’t meet the criteria.

SevernWonders · 07/10/2024 20:41

Started 29/5 at 18 stone, now 14.3
I'm 5'7" so still need to lose a few more stone to get to a healthy BMI

rewilded · 07/10/2024 20:51

What happens when you reach your target? Do the prescriptions stop? Do you then put weight back on and start again?

MindfulAndDemure · 07/10/2024 20:53

Height 5'6"
Start weight 16.2st
Current weight 11.6st

Started in January. Id like to lose another stone. I intend to finish injections (Wegovy) at the end of December. I've changed my eating habits and patterns a lot, so am hopeful of being able to maintain my weight.

BadLittleBunny · 07/10/2024 21:09

Height - 5'6"
Start weight (April) - 14st 7lb
Weight today - 11st 5lb

More than 3 stone in 6 months and a 'healthy' BMI as of this morning. Wooooooohh!

I've gone from around an 18 to a 12/14. It's still a bit surreal about my weight and keep buying a size 16 but it absolutely drowns me!

My BMI was 27 and I have no associated issues and was approved.

I showed them a photo and I have a huge belly.
