I see so many threads for people who all started about the same time as each other and think it must be good to have people at similar stages that you can share stories with and go through it all together.

There is a Sept thread but those guys have all started already.

Anyone due to start in the second half of Sept that would be interested in a thread?

I am just waiting delivery of my first pen today but don't plan to inject until Sunday evening. I WFH so cannot work out if having the 'worst' of any side effects ruining the weekend is better/worse than having to work through them on Mon/Tue. However, I have a couple of weekend social things coming up and decided it might be easier to do them when my previous injection is starting to wear off a bit - so Sunday nights it is!

@Ozgirl75 that's fab news! Mine are gradually getting a little loser! Fourth jab this evening, seem to be averaging 2.5 - 3lbs a week.

What a fabulous win @Ozgirl75 - might try some of mine on later. I have much less bloating and water retention right now and might be able to get some of my favourite rings on- think I might have them out so they can be part of my monthly checkin when I do my measurements.

@ShiftAMountain are we (I mean you 😉 ) starting a follow up thread?

My non scales victory is putting on my previously too-tight-to button trousers in the morning and remarking to myself that there is an inch and a bit of room in them...This tends to be less noticeable during the day, I swear I'm thinner in the morning..

Off to the new thread to place mark!

Hey everyone

I haven't been on here for a while but am now at the end of week 3 of MJ and taking my last 2.5 dose tomorrow.

Just feeling a bit down and wondered if anyone else had experienced the same...

Stayed off week 1 with really good suppression, had a good loss that week 7lb. However since then the doses haven't had quite the same effect in terms of suppression & making healthy choices easier & I've lost around 1lb over the last couple of weeks.

I'm due to go up to 5mg at the end of next week and haven't really had any side effects so that's good but it's also made me feel a bit sad- I've got a lot to loose (also on the 5st + thread)

Is there anyone who 2.5mg had minimal effects but things improved when they moved up to 5mg?

Thank you

Morning everyone
great reading about everyone’s losses we all seem to be doing very well! Wishing your Dad well @Ozgirl75 hope everything is well.
i’ve just taken the “golden dose” yesterday, had been running on willpower the last couple of days before. It will be a month tomorrow since i started and i’m a stone down which i’m pleased with. Got alot to lose (sw was 27st 6.5) but actually feel like i can do this, and put a tshirt on yesterday and noticed it fit better!

just a word of warning though to anyone who makes my mistake 🙈 yesterday as i had been running on willpower the last couple of days i had a “day off” as the suppression hadn’t kicked in from the golden dose. I had a milkybar yoghurt and a breakfast sandwich in the morning, a mini chomp and mini curly wurly at lunchtime and then we were out for a family meal last night at an italian so i had meatballs to start and a pizza for main. Ate it all 🙈🙈 and then about 9pm the supression seemed to kick in and the feeling of fullness. My god i had such a rubbish nights sleep because i felt so uncomfortable, and this morning had a bit of stomach ache and upset tummy.

lesson learnt for me, haven’t eaten anything like that in a month and really paying for it now!

Is anyone feeling monster hungry when they go to bed, I toss and turn for hours feeling REALLY hungry but wake feeling fine. I've tried to alter the time I eat and what I do eat, had a big meal last night about 7ish, went to bed at 10 and the hunger pangs started again. It's really odd. Woke up this morning and don't feel hungry at all. I've tried protein before bed, carbs, even had a take away the other weekend. I've tried eating little and often during the day but it's always the same

I’ve not noticed this as such but could you try having a banana or a protein yoghurt or something when the pangs kick in? Not sure if you are calorie counting as well but you could keep an allowance back for a midnight snack 🤣
