New thread as #3 full and to mark my disastrous crashing off plan today so hoping to be reinspired !

@Wingingit11 I'll have a look, the last one I bought in powder form was a marine and a bovine, the bovine I could stomach but the marine... it was disgusting, very fishy. It was from Hunter and Gather, I had to chuck it. I've also used absolute collagen and vida glow liquid. Using MJ I'd need a cheaper option so thank you for the recommendation x

@FlappingMadly I've used MCT oil in the past when I did Keto and did find benefits.

The A&B wild marine collagen I take has no taste at all. I mix into my morning shake or a hot drink.

I take exactly the same. Unsure whether it does anything but I love the packaging and the cute bronze scoop.

@Arraminta i’ve been taking it for quite a long time and my abused eyebrows and eye lashes are making a reappearance and baby hairs galore! I also switched to rice shampoo which might be helping in hair dept too so not sure.

I was hoping to save money on food to make up for extortionate MJ costs, but I foolishly chose to start whilst my daughter was home so food costs went up and I had to buy two pens out of one month to ensure there wasn't a gap, so I'm bankrupt! She's back to uni now so I'm reverting to modest and disciplined purchases in the supermarket, which is a relief.

Am not optimistic about losing anything this week. Have been staying the same or putting a pound on. I don't believe it's a real gain as I haven't overeaten - though I have been eating closer to my calorie limit than I was, which I think reflects the appetite suppression wearing off - but I guess I'm due for a bit of regrouping. I shall sulk, of course, but remain sanguine, unless the scale goddess intervenes overnight.

I've using UK Lash serum for over a year so eyelashes are already fulsome, but eyebrows haven't made a reappearance as yet!

Med express have just emailed saying time to order next pen 7.5

2nd dose of 5 is tomorrow so seems a little premature

How soon /late do you all order?

I was planning to next week when nearly 3 so comes within the week

Or is it better to order now so have it incase or any cock ups?

I literally feel I've just paid out for one pen

I'm Medexpress too and I usually order about 3rd week .Delivery is normally about 3/4 days .

Surely you need time to decide whether you are going to stay on 5mg for another month, which I'm hoping to, or move up a dose.

Last time I ordered in the middle of the third week, Zava takes quite a while to approve and deliver.

Are there benefits to taking higher doses apart from better appetite suppression? Like does it do more of its magic with digestion and blood sugar regulation too?

I found the email from med express a bit confusing because it states you should move up, but it’s also fine to stay on the same dose. Bit non committal

I’m happy on 5mg for now but I don’t know how I’ll feel at the end of 5mg, so I’ll probably wait before I order the next pen. I think I’d hate to be on 5mg for an extra month and stall or have low appetite suppression though, so I’ll probably get 7.5mg to ensure I’m still progressing.

I don’t recall the finer details but there are studies that show you lose more on higher doses and that the reported side effects aren’t necessarily higher. I found them via the Reddit subs

I used to take it in my bullet proof coffee first thing, it definitely gave me an energy boost and I wasn't starving by mid morning too. X

@Arraminta @FlappingMadly okay I'm sold on the mention of a cute bronze scoop. I have also used ÙkLash and wow it really does work. My brows were thicker too. If I could afford everything I would have it all 😆
MJ should really up their game and add in some collagen, Biotin, and some super duper other things in the pen. 🤣

People generally move up each month so I don't want to stay at 5 and not lose

@Blondeshavemorefun yes, I suppose my primary reason for hoping to stay on 5mg for a few months was the cost. However if it drags the process out it would be counter productive.

I also want to retain some hunger and be able to eat a balanced diet, so we will see. It's a real balancing act. But I won't decide until week 3 at least, and I intend to be brave and take my bonus dose with a syringe this month.

I'm also going to move from Zava. I am very happy with them but I want the security of a maintenance plan when I reach a healthy BMI.

Yes, can you imagine if we could afford it all!!

I would have my meals prepared, perfectly nutritionally balanced, delivered to the door every day and ALL the supplements.

I'd also have a personal trainer pop in every day, with exercises designed for my poor old knees.

Ooooh and a luxury spa weekend for all of us every month.

My 4th jab tomorrow and am going to try the hard twist. Am quite nervous about it!

How much is zara - med express seem quite reasonable and have maintenance

I was hospitalised briefly for Covid and given a prescription for FOUR months physio. My physio centre also treated the Belgian football team and periodically there’d be 6ft giants jumping what I had to run to 🤣. My physio was basically a supervised gym session and always a hiit devised by my guy. I’ve never felt so good. I begged my doc to give me 2 more months and it was fab. Sooo expensive to have a personal trainer but I would love one.

Medexpress maintenance is over £200 a month. I'm not sure I'd be prepared to commit to that forever!

I’ve put on a lb this week. No idea how. Feeling a bit gutted. It’s an expensive hobby to be having if I’m not losing. So far I’ve only lost the first week
