Had my 6th injection (2nd on 5mg) on Saturday. I’m thinking of reordering another 5mg but we’ll see how I feel when I order on Monday.

My NSV today was that I no longer need the bra strap extender! Wahooo

It would be interesting to see how many of us August starters are sticking to 5mg for a second pen. Also if anyone is still on 2.5mg and intends to do a third pen. It's a pity we can't do a poll

I have just ordered my third pen, my second at 5mg as I am doing ok on it and have some mild nausea, so happy to stick for another round at this level.

Just to help fill the remaining posts on #4...

I'll be getting a second 5mg pen and have still only gone up to 3.75 so far. I'm due my second jab from my 5mg pen tonight, but I think I'll stay at 3.75 for this week at least. Most of the time I haven't felt too hungry, apart from a mysterious craving for breakfast when I woke up on Tuesday, and I think I'm on course to lose 1-2lb this week. I've still got about another 3.5 stone to go, so I'm really wary of just scaling up the doses, feeling shit, and having nowhere else to go. So I'm going to see myself as in it for the long haul and try to keep to the cheaper doses as long as I can.

Unless something changes I think I'm going to stick with 5mg too. It's been hard to eat enough this week, and that was only on 3.75.

My little NSV today... it's been a tough week and I haven't hit the snack cupboard once. Feeling pretty proud of that.

Another here who’s ordered a 2nd 5mg pen. I’ve got such good suppression with it that it would be daft not to. Cost is making me think like that I must admit!

I'm a September starter (so mainly on that thread) but I've learnt so much from all of you on here about what challenges and choices might be coming up next. Thank you everyone who is leading the way.

I started in late August and it was reading the start of this chat and the ones from June and July that made me take the plunge! I don't think I would have considered weightloss medication based on adverts and celeb gossip alone - it was realising that real people could do it, and how much of an impact it was making to them.

I just received my second 5mg pen a few days ago.
it works very well for me and my provider charged the same for a pen regardless of what strength it is.

I've got 2 5mg pens due to messing up an order and cancellation. I'm half way through the first one and it's working well with appetite reduction (but I'm not losing much weight).

I'll hopefully use the 2 pens then maybe move up to 7.5.

Hi all, I’m not sure what’s happening but since moving to the 5mg pen the suppression has gone! I’ve been starving today and eaten more than I’ve eaten in the last five weeks.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes. I'm in my first week of 5mg and I've eaten the most in 1 day time since I've started..

I've not over eaten, still much less calories, but I finished my meal I plated up for the first time.. normally struggle to finish..
I'm hoping when my 2nd jab happens it tops up the suppression..

My views are 5 didn't work for me and need higher

My logic is that when we start 5mg we are really only beginning the therapeutic dose & the enthusiasm and new sensations that took us through 2.5 has waned and our habits/head kicked in. We are probably genuinely hungry too often. I am short and cannot listen to the hunger and although it’s there MJ definitely smooths it out. Just had my second dose of 4mg.
