New thread as #3 full and to mark my disastrous crashing off plan today so hoping to be reinspired !

Weigh in and jab day. Had my first 5mg today so hoping for a smooth ride. 2.5 lbs off today bringing my total to 21lbs over the first 4 weeks on 2.5mg.

SW 120.7kg (19st 0lbs)
CW 111.1kg (17st 7lbs)

Hubby took pictures and I genuinely can't believe the difference although I can't see it in person 🤷‍♀️

The most obvious change is from behind so no need to scribble. I'm honestly stunned as I cannot see any difference in real life!

Struggling to keep up with the thread - hope you’re all okay! I’m glad I’ve decided to skip the bonus dose - suppression is definitely not as strong this week! First 5mg next week.

I did my 2nd 5mg injection a couple of days early as we were going away. It's gone red and itchy and puffy. I've read up and it says some people develop an immune response to it. I really hope it's not that, anyone else had this? I will wait the full week this time and hope it doesn't happen again. If it does I will speak to the dr at pharmacy2u.

@CremeDeSudo @NippyCrab - sertraline here too and increased anxiety since moving up from 2.5mg. I’ve taken the bonus dose and then 45 clicks of the 5mg - so 3.75ish. My job is quite stressful at the moment and a few bits going on so put it down to that, but I wouldn’t usually react this way, so you’ve got me wondering.

@Zippitydoodaa - I’ve also only taken 45 clicks worth and plan to continue to do so, but how many doses have you got from the pen? I really don’t want to throw it away but I know they say discard 30 days after opening. Obviously I wouldn’t take if cloudy, but clear I’m tempted to keep using.

It's hard to pinpoint isn't it. I'd been considering speaking to Drs months ago but hoped sorting out HRT would help. It did a bit, but not entirely. Since then I've started a new job, it's very busy atm, I've started MJ, my eldest has started high school, youngest is being particularly hard work atm, other stuff too. So I do feel like it would be perfectly understandable regardless of the MJ!

I'll let you all know what GP says.

Evening all, just catching up from the August thread and needing a wee bit of a handhold as I’m pretty miserable tonight. Just taken my third jab of 2.5mg, weigh in day tomorrow (only 3lbs down so far) but I’m not holding my breath as I feel very bloated and the constipation has been AWFUL. I have IBS-C anyway and I’m usually able to control it quite well, but resorted to taking senna last night after spending hours in the loo trying to give birth to a gigantic poo a couple of days ago 😂 (sorry - TMI??) but it’s not shifting anything of note and by gods the stomach cramps tonight are terrible. I’ve eaten oats, dates, plenty of fruit and veg, probably not drunk enough water though. Please tell me this sorts itself out at some point!

I haven’t got ‘before’ pictures - deleted them as soon as I’d sent them off for my first pen as I thought I looked so gross. But I have been looking back at holiday photos from the summer, and it’s really sad. I don’t recognise the big lump in the pictures, and think surely that’s not me. Even outfits that felt quite nice and flattering look bloody awful in the photos. Ahh well, at least I’m doing something about it now.

Dose 5 (2.5mg) was yesterday morning and I’ve had good suppression since. Bit of tummy ache today but maybe unrelated, feels more like period pain than anything digestive.

DP cooked a lovely dinner tonight, but good grief the portions were enormous. I felt guilty throwing so much away but it was just far more than I could manage. It’s quite hard to shift away from the idea of finishing everything on your plate to be polite / appreciative, but I need to do it.

There will be 240 clicks in 4 dose pen ÷ 35 = 5 doses approx.
So day 1 ,8, 15, 23, 30. Still within the 30 day limit.
Would forfeit the bonus dose , but still have 5 doses.
Hope that makes sense .🤔

@Fourfurrymonsters hand hold here. That does sound rough. Might it be kinder to yourself to not weigh while you’re feeling all bunged up?

The last time I struggled with constipation I ended up drinking a few pints of water in a short space of time, and it seemed to help, a desperate determination to flush things out.. Best of luck.

I was exactly the same, I took my 3rd 2.5 last Saturday and in the morning had a harrowing experience on the toilet. This week it has eased a little, it's still not great, but better than it has been.

@CremeDeSudo @Usernamechangeforthis12 ahh I'm wondering then if it was the bonus dose which was more than 2.5 that's done it. I'm due to take my jab of 2.5 again tomorrow of my second pen. I'm going to order insulin syringes so I can have the extra dose but I know it's exactly 2.5. I was thinking it could've been a combination of new HRT and some stressful situations. Hope you get on okay at the Dr
I forgot to weigh in today so I'll jump up like a ninja in the morning before coffee and do it. I've not had a poo today though (tmi sorry) x
