@littlemousebigcheese please don't call yourself disgusting! There are lots of us who are or have been size 22 and we're still valid human beings, loveable and loved, despite the fatphobia that makes us hate ourselves
Have you tried upping your water? Are you eating lots of protein? Are you managing to do any extra movement to help shift things? I've started a mad 5 rhythms dance class where everyone goes mad and no one judges - it's loads of fun and I get sweaty and happy and it's everything that being picked last in every PE lesson my whole childhood WAS NOT! Really recommend trying to find something that you love doing if you can.
I haven't properly checked in here for ages but here goes:
SW 130kg, BMI 46
CW 121kg, BMI 43
GW 75kg - assuming I'll get there in late 2025!
I'm 44, in perimenopause, with an underactive thyroid AND managed to have 2 separate severe allergic reactions in the first 5 weeks of MJ which were both treated in A&E with steroids... So there's lots of reasons why my loss has been slow and all things considered I'll take my 9kg loss in 10 weeks with much gratitude!
Before I started MJ I was in a downward spiral, stress eating to self-soothe in my stressful (sedentary) new job, and actively gaining weight because I couldn't stop the nightly bingeing.
To get from there to where I am now is actually a massive turnaround! So even though there are lots of folks who've lost much more than I have in the same timeframe, I'm not comparing myself to them - I'm comparing myself to ME. And on that basis I'm doing great.
Wish you all good things and hope that we can all feel good about ourselves, wahtever size we end up at xx
