Slow losers club! (Ozempic, wegovy, mountjaro etc)

There are so many weight loss injection threads, but I thought I'd start this for anyone feeling a bit deflated by their slower than average loses. It can be disheartening to see others losing multiple lbs per week when it is a slower process for some.

I had a lovely shopping trip today. So lovely to try on clothes and buy them because you like them, not just because you are grateful they fit ok-ish!

@Azuresky68 I started 12.5mg last week and feel ok, it has been the same with every dose to be fair. I am a bit worried I will go to 15 and then it will stop working, I have gone up the doses so easily and never had any bad side effects or big losses. I still need to lose a stone to be a healthy bmi but feel pretty good already in mostly size 12 so will just have to see how it goes.

@Sadteacher glad you had a good shopping trip...I know exactly what you mean about not having to pick cover up stuff!
I am really undecided about going up to 12.5 mg but I have only 7 pounds to lose so it might be worth the extra boost to get rid of those pounds. I am going to South America at the beginning of March for 3 weeks (9 weeks away) and would love to be at my goal by then. I am not sure what I will do about injecting for maintenance while Iver there as there are 4 internal flights and don't know what rules will be re prescription drugs.

I have phone call with a GP booked for a few weeks time 👀. Still getting this wierd pain most days, but not unbearable.
I took a little less mounjaro this week trying to avoid the 💩 so I took 8.5................still woke at 3.30 Saturday morning with my tummy churning and the toilet calling
No weight loss this week either but its been period week so not unusual for me.
Placed my first order with Oushk this evening using tjier discount code, now my BMI is 28. something I will probably stay with them for the maintainance options

Morning everyone. Nice to read all your updates. I’ve taken my first 5mg dose last night (bonus dose from first 5mg pen).
Ive been gradually building up over the last month due to some side effects. I feel okay this morning!
Weight is stuck at 12 stone. So I’m keen to see the 11’s! I know it will happen this month so I’ll try to increase the exercise and work towards the next half stone. At my rate of loss that will take until March!

I decided to get weighed this morning and haven't gained after the holiday but I have been away since 15th December so no loss either. Without MJ I would have probably gained at least half a stone so I guess it's a win! 7 pounds to goal. I have ordered 12.5 mg to see what it's like and hopefully i might get to goal, then I will be going down after that I think.

@Pinkyp22 I had a couple of weeks when I got hardly any gastro symptoms but they’re back with a vengeance this week.

To everyone: I know we all know a lot about going up the doses, but has anyone found themselves going the other way? Do you know if the dosage of Mj is weight related; in which case maybe going down the doses as weight goes down would be an option for those of us with side effects?

@Ifyounevergiveup its strange the dose is the same whether you start at 20 or11 stone. Us shorties would have a higher concentrate in our bodies you would think! I’ve not had many side effects at all to match my rather slow, plodding weight loss, despite being on 12.5mg at 11 stone at the moment!
