I'm in the midlands with an amber warning ⚠️. Is anything going to happen?

It started to snow around 9pm in north Hampshire and it’s settling. We only have an inch or so

Midlands here too and fuck all snow. I'd really love it to snow and stick.. my kids would love that for their last day off school. But then I'd want it all gone with zero ice on the ground for Monday morning please!

Snowing and settling in Kent!

South midlands here and just a sprinkling so far - I’ve kept checking on the Ring camera as I’m not getting up from my nest of blankets! 🤣 I think they have wildly overestimated the amount we are going to get.

Not what you want to hear but Bristol has been declared closed until 2330 Uk time due snow (that info is from Eurocontrol who oversee this sort of stuff),

Not sure if that’s a worse case time and there’s any chance if it opening up again earlier or whether the time might slip…

Coventry here and big snow. The fluffy stuff but not settling yet.

The Somerset kids I teach, say snow is "settling"

My Sussex family say snow is "laying"

My Mancuian DH says snow is "sticking".

Currently, cars are having to turn around outside the house, as they can't get up the slight incline at the end of the road.

Why have you got next door's cat? Surely they didn't go out and leave their cat outside with snow forecast.
