Where exactly?

I'm not from Bristol and I've always used the term 'pitched', I though it was just standard vocabulary. I wonder if anywhere else uses it then?

A little snow where we are in SW and some pitching, but I think it will turn to rain soon and so disappear disappointingly quickly.

Nothing here, West coast Scotland. Horrendous black ice everywhere though. Looks like we've to get some snow early hours of the morning.

We’re in the North East, just north of Durham City. Nothing hear yet, but it’s not forecast hear until the early hours of tomorrow. Then for the daytime tomorrow, we’re just forecast constant heavy rain 🙄

West Wales, only 2" snow settled here, but turning slushy where its fallen on wet ground.. gonna be treacherous if it freezes overnight!

Left the Alps this morning with snow chains on having dug the car out of thick snow. Reached Hampshire an hour ago and sat at a service station due to the road being slippery and obscured - I was all for putting the chains back on but DH suggested waiting for the rain. The eastbound A303 is closed just after Amesbury - our fogged windows prevented me from seeing the issue but police on scene. Raining now (wiltshire).

I am done with snow! Bring on the spring.

no complaints if we get a bit of snow but genuinely concerned if as promised we get 12 hours of rain tomorrow
there was awful flooding round here on NYD and the cleanup is still ongoing

It’s coming down and settling in Surrey!!! 😃😃 really hope it stays til morning, haven’t sledded since 2021! That lasted a couple of days. We live opposite a hill and will be sledding down at 7am if it’s still there! Unless that’s antisocial…. Maybe 8am… I’ll curtain twitch and see if anyone else is heading up.

Snow here near to Bristol . Quite surprised as only yellow warning . Just heard lots of screaming in my Cul de sac and kids were playing out in the snow .

Currently sitting in Dublin Airport waiting for my flight home to Bristol to arrive as nothing is currently leaving Bristol airport because of snow! Currently up to a 4h delay - if it arrives at all!!
