I'm in the midlands with an amber warning ⚠️. Is anything going to happen?

Forest of Dean/West Gloucestershire, Amber warning, no snow as yet. It kind of feels snowy though, like there is something wanting to come down.

East Mids here, looks like we're getting snow overnight, roughly 9pm onwards then sleet around 5am.

I wonder if it's mainly going to be ice that the amber warning is for.

No snow. Going to snow overnight but turn to rain by morning.

South Wales valleys, we have snow. Very fine so far but the street is white

NW here and nothing yet but not really due till 9ish. Just been out to get some firewood and it doesn't feel cold enough for snow or ice - nothing is frozen.

Nothing here yet, now forecast to start at 10pm. I also cancelled plans today, we did have a dusting this morning.

heavy grey clouds but no snow in worcs. Bet it ends up being cold rain!!

None in the Merseyside area yet but it's looking snowy in the sky if that makes sense

Nothing in Surrey. Heavy frost this morning and has been freezing cold all day.

We're tucked up in the warm with next door's cat, a glass of wine and old episodes of Prime Suspect. Pizzas arriving later ☺️ 🍕🥂

@Spanielsaremad we had it at Bristol, but we are near Taunton (travelling to Cornwall)and it's settling on the hard shoulder. It started to get bad from Somerset.

9pm in Warrington apparently, my nose will be pressed to the window! 2 degrees just now in my car, agree the sky 'looks snowy' but that might just be wishful thinking!

Sleet in Frome in Somerset,

North east Scotland here, we've had snow for a few days now and was -8 last night. Hasn't snowed today but didn't shift either as temp hasn't risen above -2 all day.

In Wellington Somerset we're getting a weird granular fine hail that is settling.
