Has anyone got snow yet?

I'm in the midlands with an amber warning ⚠️. Is anything going to happen?

My Ocado delivery got stuck in a snow drift on Sunday, poor chap. The next available delivery was with Waitrose, I booked it for 6-7am today for before I started work but he was delayed by the compacted ice and snow everywhere on side roads and arrived at 8am.

I'm in Scotland and we've had a good few days of snow this week, I like to play out it in with my dog,as he loves it when it's deep enough, I make a snowman and just act like a silly kid while I still can!
When I was little I couldn't wait for snow, I would go sledging down the hills with my pals (on a bin bags as we didn't have a sledge) it was great fun. When my kids were small we did the same and I still love playing in it now I'm 60.
I don't see any kids playing in it this week, not one, seems very odd when normally they play out in all weathers here. It's frozen hard now so I understand, but earlier this week it was warmer & the snow was the softer fun stuff.
Do the children play in the snow where you are ?

All five grandchildren were out on the hill behind the houses at 8.30 am on Monday Sledging like fury. Unfortunately it was short lived. There were other children too. It's more of a novelty on our warm coastline. Now it's just lethal ice.

That's lovely ! I love to see children enjoying the snow, we don't seem to have it for long these days. We are also on the coast and it froze solid yesterday even with the sun on it all day.

Still can’t move a car here! Mine’s got a snowdrift in front of it for about 20 yards and I’m not shovelling that much snow. DC’s little car is parked on an incline with sheer ice for about 30 feet in front of it.
