I'm in the midlands with an amber warning ⚠️. Is anything going to happen?

West mids and we have snow tonight.

West Yorkshire and we probably have 2 inch so far - fuck off snow, I am working later today and can't do it remotely 🖕

NE Essex here and no snow, just steady rain for the last few hours. We rarely get much snow here, which suits me just fine!

No snow here, although BBC thinks it's 100% chance of snow until 8am. Fairly sure it's just started to rain

Im on outskirts and it was snowing for atleast 4 hours, its lovely crunchy snow

Quick update on this - the Bristol to Dublin flight managed to leave at 00:15 and the return leg left Dublin at 2 to arrive back to Bristol 40 minutes later. Airport is carnage, I’ve never seen the baggage claim so full and the queue for taxis was unbelievable. So the snow definitely made a big impact in Bristol! Finally home 6 hours later than expected.

For the airport/travel watchers this AM - Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool airports all predicted to be closed to arrivals until about 1000 UK time due snow.

Snow in West Lancashire and a lot of it, looking out at the cars, I am going to say around a good 20-30cm but I am on a hill which always gets it heavier

I have woken to a very light covering of snow on the grass, it either didn’t settle or has melted on paths. I normally joke that I am in Sunny Suffolk but on this rare occasion I can use the term Snowy Suffolk. Yay!

Got maybe a couple of cm here in Greater Manchester. The floods were worse earlier this week despite very little warning and an amber warning only coming into place once the rain was already torrential!
