Has anyone got snow yet?

I'm in the midlands with an amber warning ⚠️. Is anything going to happen?

North east wales and snowing quite a lot now and sticking. Meant to turn to rain in the morning and all day tomorrow according to met office but only highs of 1 degree so I wonder if it’ll be rain or snow.

In the SouthEast here. We've had some snow which has settled but are due rain in the early hours.

We have had it for over an hour now and it’s just a light dusting on the ground so we probably won’t wake up to much more 🤔 Our bin collection has been cancelled though 😩

DD and I were out at the theatre tonight – RSC in Stratford, about a 70-mile drive. We do this a lot btw, it's good roads and pretty quick.

Yesterday I got into a bit of a panic and googled local hotels, wrote lists of warm clothes to take, wondered if we should miss it and rebook (impossible, it’s basically sold out).

Anyway I am so glad we just went. I would have been majorly annoyed if I had cancelled and then realised that the amber warning for extreme weather basically meant some sleety snow falling. It wasn't as bad as some of the rain we have had lately. Got home (East Mids) in double-quick time. The only place we saw any snow on the road was basically our residential street where we left some pretty tracks in about half a centimetre of snow.

(The play was amazing btw, in case anyone has tickets, Twelfth Night at Stratford).

Snowing in York, but not settling at all. I thought I'd see far more snow here (grew up in southern coastal town)- after 7 years I'm disappointed to say not the case.

Fingers crossed it’s all good for the Liverpool Man U game tomorrow then 🤞

What are the chances we are going to get snow all night now instead of rain? it was supposed to be sleet here but this is definitely not sleet! It’s even settling on the partially gritted road now

snow here in Essex but just been out in it and it feels like bits of ice falling! Hard to believe it's going to be 10 degrees tomorrow!

it started hard about half an hour ago and it's funny to watch people just walking around the development looking at it 😂 I suppose we're all taking pictures.

We're in Kent and had snow from
9pm onwards. It's lovely and settled nicely. Just started hailing about half an hour ago.

Bemused by how wrong the BBC weather app is for my area. According to it we have sleet and a light breeze. My other weather app states heavy snow and seems much more accurate. It’s been coming down for a couple of hours and has got heavier in the last hour.

Kent too.
Outside Faversham area, nothing here.

I'm in S Yorks - pitiful sleet despite warnings of 12 cm - we'll see I hope I don't have to eat my words in the morning! It's certainly not sticking just sopping wet and cold out there.

@Stirabout we're in Maidstone. We've had a good covering and the neighbours kids were out playing around 10pm. Was lovely to see them.

No snow here yet, south west Scotland. BBC Weather and Met Office have totally different forecasts. Met says snow from 3am to 8am with no rain until Sunday evening. BBC says rain and snow from 5am all through the day/evening today and Monday. Both say low temps with high of 2 degrees so I imagine roads will be a nightmare on Monday for work/school going back.

South Manchester/Cheshire here. Started sleeting at 10pm. Then snowed for a bit and it looked promising as itvwas sticking to roofs, cars and grass. Now its stopped. Gutted! Was hoping to wake up to a good covering. Still holding onto hope 🙏

It is now slightly snowing in my part of Cambridgeshire 😊 I had to take a photo so I can show my son tomorrow as it will probably be nowhere to be seen in the morning 🤣

I'm also.south Yorkshire and we a light dusting and seems to be proper snow. I'm secretly hoping it sticks as I have plans tomorrow I wanted an excuse not to have to follow through with 😁

Dover has rain and a strong wind. Hoping it doesn’t snow.
