I'm in the midlands with an amber warning ⚠️. Is anything going to happen?

Snowing in Battersea. My son has just collected some from our car roof, put it in Tupperware and in the freezer. He’s 16. I’m 52 and possibly even more excited that it’s finally snowing!

East London - snow on the pavements, roads and cars at the moment. But think it will turn to rain in the night as it says it's going to be 9 degrees warmer tomorrow.

Getting some 'almost' snow now in Suffolk where I am. It isn't proper flakes that would settle at the moment.

Coming down in flurries here in the North. Sainsburys food delivery came 2 hours early as driver was panicking about getting stuck in the snow! Must have been delivering with pedal to the floor! All this hype about foot and a half of snow - sledges are sold out within 10 mile radius her, so expecting to see a significant amount of snow in the morning, or there’s going to be a lot of disappointed children…..

The Ski Village is derelict now, been set on fire by vandals.

West Kent nothing so far but relatives in Watford got it from 9:30pm.

Coming down hard in Leeds. I can also see a massive fire in the city centre.

Snowing here in Essex. I thought it was sleet as I could hear it on the conservatory roof but I think it’s turned to proper snow now - just looked at the front and everything but the road (which has been gritted) has a light covering.

im fully expecting it to be gone by morning as the forecast says heavy rain for 5am and 12 degrees tomorrow but I’m also hoping it’s one of those got it terribly wrong forecasts and we wake up to a good few inches it will make DS’s day!

One of my cats has just come in, cold, wet and meowing indignantly. I poked my head out of the back door, and yes, it's snowing in Southport.
The cat seems to think I'm responsible, so sorry all.

Sleet, then snow settling for over an hour but back to sleety rain again now in North East Surrey.

We finally have snow. Teenager is playing in it after returning late from dad's. Thought that was bad... there's a little kid out there giggling! (With parent)

I'm in North Wales and it's coming down fast. Quite thick already and it's been going for about three hours!

NW coast and we have light snow, trying to settle. It's not going to amount to much if it carries on the same way all night. We don't get much snow here really. Last big snow was 2010.

Oh dear. Working in London tonight and I need to get home to West Midlands to my babies tomorrow. Not feeling very hopeful about my chances with the trains. 😫

At last! Been snowing lightly for about an hour here - W Yorks/N Yorks/ Lancs border (anyone who lives near me will know exactly where I mean). A covering on cars and untreated surfaces. It’s meant to ramp up at about 3 am for a few hours so fingers crossed for some sledging in the morning. I know I’m going to sleep terribly because I’ll be on window watch!!

Edge of n Wales and gentle snow here. Just heard 2 fireworks go off too. Either that or a car's just crashed into 2 other ones.
