I'm in the midlands with an amber warning ⚠️. Is anything going to happen?

Wet snow in SW London. Pretty looking through the street lights but melts on impact

Sleeting / light snow in South Manchester but not sticking. I think it's too wet already to stick now

The cars on my street now have snow on them. We are at the foot of the Pennines in Stalybridge (near Manchester). There's no snow sticking on the pavement yet but will no doubt be there in the morning. I haven't seen the gritting truck come past tonight, but its a bit warmer than last night.

Hampshire. Thick rain really. There's a layer of ice on the deck. More like hail that's settled and melted a bit though. Maybe a blanket of white in the morning. I hope not though.

Started around 9pm just as I was heading out for a swim in Buckinghamshire. Very slippery my roads so I drove at 10mph

North Yorkshire, started about 20 minutes ago. Quite fast and heavy.

North Leeds, just on border between West and North Yorkshire, and it started snowing about 15 mins ago. Already a light covering on cars, but it's still a bit sleety at the moment. From the few cars going past, the road sounds very icy.

It's snowing quite heavily in south London. Both of our cars are covered and the back garden is white.

It's heavy here right now, and it's sticking!

Oh! Whereabouts? My walking group is heading to Pickering/Lockton/Levisham tomorrow. We might need to rethink our plans if the roads are bad.

Not a sausage in the Humber/East Coast region at the moment. In fact, it's quite mild.

Snowing in Bath earlier at around 5pm. Coming home, heavy rain in Devon.

You used to have a great ski school in Sheffield that I took my daughter to when she was little. Gone now, but those hills were often covered in snow when everywhere else was clear.

Yep! Sheffield here too and DS2 is gutted as his rugby match has already been cancelled for tomorrow and he was looking forward to getting back after the Christmas break. Planning a warm, cosy morning at home now instead.

Lancashire coast, coming down quite heavily for the last hour but sadly not sticking. Its nice watching it from my bedroom window though.

Very heavy, sleety rain in Surrey. If it were a bit colder, we would have a blanket of snow.

I just took the puppy out to pee and there’s snow in my garden!

Didn’t see this thread and just posted on the other one. It’s snowing steadily in Herts and has been for a while. Enough to cover the ground completely though whether it'll hang around for long tomorrow I’m not sure.

Raining in my part of East Sussex and not even cold.

We haven't had snow settle here since 2009.
