snowing in Doncaster - just started

Been going a few hours here now in Shropshire

It's snowing here, Mid Wales, about 2 inches and settling.

Quite heavy and settling in the east mids!

It started in Sheffield around 10.00pm, forecasted until early morning before turning to rain. Ds is on holiday in Switzerland & has been sending me videos from their train going through the mountains with proper snow feet deep, made me very jealous.

Lightly snowing on the Derbyshire/Lancashire border. It’s not sticking though!

Just rain in Cambridge. My daughter has been hoping for snow since about September and it would have been a perfect end to the Christmas holidays for her.

It's supposed to warm to about 8 degrees around 6-8am and turn to rain, so no snow day for me.

Midlands: light snow started a little under an hour ago.

It's here, south Yorkshire...yay love the quiet still of it.

Starting to settle a bit in Dagenham but I think it's supposed to be about 13 degrees tomorrow! 😳😂

I’m in Cheshire and nothing yet. Quite disappointed actually.

It's been snowing in my part of Bucks for at least 3 hours now. And settling.

My DS (18) wanted me to go and collect him from the station (not local and 30 minutes there and back on a good day).

The road out the estate (hilly and not gritted), through woods and then a road I don't like at the best of times. 🤔 told him to get the train to the local station and walk home.

I went to put something in my outside bin earlier and could hear a lot of commotion.

I popped my head around the corner and saw a mum, dad and 3 kids going absolutely cock-a-hoop, looking up at the snow and running round! 🤣

The parents apologised to me and said they're from Nigeria, and the kids had never seen snow before!

The youngest (about 3ish) was running round with his tongue out, trying to taste it bless him! 😍😂

Lots of snow in Cardiff. Left the car around the corner from my house as she didn't make it up the hill, despite the traction control on.

Rubbish here in Cambridgeshire. Not a little flake, there is a bit of thick rain that can't even be classed as sleet. ☹️

Just come back from the theatre in snow (London), but it was very wet and was definitely not settling.

Sleety rain (but more rain than sleet) in GM now

Several inches on Thursday, few more yesterday (about 6” overall). Light sprinkle since yesterday on the bits I cleared which are now all icy. Road been white since Thursday.
