Snow watch.

While for many it is milder today, it will become colder again tomorrow. The main snow risk starts on Thursday where both GFS and ECM show a risk of snow in the south into the midlands and Wales, away from south eastern coastal counties. They both model a low moving in from the Azores, bumping into cold air.

GFS takes this right into northern England and parts of Scotland.

As always, early days and so there is lots of uncertainty. We await the next model run

West Sussex -just started here, but almost horizontal with the gusts of wind at times.

Tiny, rather pathetic flurries for the last hour or so, here on the Kent coast. Nothing settling. It's vv cold though!

The forecast for me (in London) has changed to possibility of sleet on and off during the day (sky leaden now, so might be about to start). Possibility of snow early evening.

Have a poorly dog so lit the log burner at 9am the house was so cold. And we're a lot warmer than the SE.

As boring usual absolutely nothing in north Herts. Grr.

Besr in mind that although today shows just light snow at most, prospects may change next week.

North east London, just a few flakes have started falling in the last few minutes. The sky is looking reasonably bright though so I don't think we'll get much more.

It did snow all morning but nothing has settled, it does look like it's meant to start up again soon

We’re in Bucks. We’ve gone from around 10% chance of sleet this afternoon to 50%. I guess it all depends how far West the flurries push. Seems to be changing all the time.

Just went for a very cold run and there was the odd tiny fleck of sleet swirling around.

Oh that’s according to The Met Office app which is the most accurate I find. I never get my hopes up much in this area for snow!

Same in SW London, could pretty much count them.

Very cold here this morning but no snow forecast. As long as it doesn’t rain I’m fairly happy - trying to start spring land work and it’s sodden sodden here in north Cambs.

Light snow right now, but been doing it for about half hour now.

Mum down on the Kent coast woke up to snow lightly settled on the roads, paths and garden.

It's laying here in north Kent. On the road too. Just wandering whether to go get my daughter from sixth form or risk the bus!

Berkshire here, very light snow flurries but OMG it is FREEZING. We're not built for this 🤣

Ooh I've seen some snow! Snowfall is the most magical weather, until you can't get the car out hehe

North London/ Herts - it just, what I can only describe as, poured with snow/hail (Snail?) here for about 5 minutes. It has laid but I'm sure will be gone soon
