Cloudy again in Wales don't think we'll see anymore sun today. We've picked all the crab apples and plums boiled them off. Now draining in a jelly bag. There's stragglers tomatoes in the green house, basically the harvest is in, later than usual.

I'm on the sofa watching the rugby, with my feet up, trying to stop my ankles swelling again. It's clouded over a bit here and there's quite a nice breeze. Metoffice are now giving us quite a high chance of thunderstorms tomorrow so it'll be interesting to see what develops.

I see the storms have been pepping up quite nicely. There's a continuing risk, with strong gusty winds, large hail, flooding and perhaps the small chance of an isolated tornado or two.

I have " caved " ..I am trying out one of the dc's Christmas presents ...which just happens to be a fan !!

It's always best to test electrical equipment as soon as you have bought it, even if it's only to make sure the fuse hasn't blown in transit 😉

Hopefully it's working as it should be. Might even have to test the second one...😂

Almost the end of the heatwave. Another day or so in the south.

We have incoming heavy rain from the south. This lot will help destabilise the atmosphere, bringing the potential for storms anywhere away from the far SE, but in particular into the met office warning area.

Risks are for flash flooding, large hail, frequent lightning and strong gusty winds (watch those gazebos!). Of course very many won't see storms, but for those who do, they could be potent.
