Has anyone actually had a storm?

We were forecast thunderstorms and heavy rain today where I am. So far it's cloudy, boiling hot and not a drop of rain to be seen.
Has anyone had any of the storms predicted?

I live in a in Lincolnshire we have had 5 inches of very heavy rain and a thunderstorm in 4hrs. Lots of parts of the town are flooded.

Still nothing near Grantham.

We had heavy rain most of yesterday in my bit of Somerset; some localised flooding & even a mudslide. Dry now, but more thunderstorms forecast for later today. Hoping we can miss the rain for a bit of time outside.

Don't forget the potatoes in the mudslide, if that's where you mean.

Nope!!! So disappointing, although the air has cleared somewhat thanks to some rain.

No storm, about 4 hours of lovely gentle rain though, so pleased to have it.

Torrentially raining for over an hour now, flashes and rumblings. Loving it!

Still no storm here. Had a bit of a downpour yesterday but nothing today in this part of Somerset.

Bit of rain now in NE London, but the sky is already clearing from the East.

@vodkaredbullgirl yes, there exactly! How more Somerset can you get - 'More than 50 tonnes of mud - and potatoes - have been removed from the road.'

I'm in West Yorkshire,no thunderstorm a bit of rain in the night but loving the cooler temperatures today 👍🏻

Monsoon-like rain and thunder all afternoon in Mayfair - I needed waders to get to the tube station 😁 Fabulous! So nice not to feel hot!
